This is a conservative Buddhist country. With people like Danu being at the center stage of the LGBT community are gradually trying their best to insert these ideas and give limelight to such people through these programs.
I am amazed of all the western wana be comments here who ain't no a thing about the subject and just follow the western trend. Understand that except for certain medically established intersex conditions , others just require counseling to help them out .
Homosexuality is not a disease which can be treated or make go away.

@@Nikah-uf6xj I don't know why you felt that I am trying to fit in, but I'm not sucking up to Danu , but what message are you trying to convey by saying that they need counseling ? They are people just like you who want to be accepted, without being treated as 'abnormals'. Besides although gay conversion therapy and counselling supposedly helps gay people overcome same-sex attractions it is known to be quite ineffective,unethical and often harmful, aggravating self hatred among those treated for what is not a mental disorder and other negative effects . I understand that this is a buddhist country and some people are very religious but they shouldn't be shunned from society just because of their sexual orientation and also isn't the highlight of every religion to be a decent human being and treat others equally? As a country in a rapidly modernizing world, we should just appreciate the tradition and culture of our country and move forward with the rest of the world otherwise we will always be on square one. Also I honestly don't care if you don't support the lgbtq+ community and I'm not trying to force you to, but just don't spread toxicity and hatred in a public platform. Have a good day.
