      Agree with you. Danu, You should bring them on “danuta kiyanna” so more people would be able to get the message! This was a great show. I respect Sriyal for coming out and talking about this so openly, not everybody can do that selfless act. 🙏🏼

    This kind of discussions should happen more often in Sinhala and Tamil languages for the majority of Sri Lankans who aren't English speakers to understand and educate themselves. These discussions should start in schools. I've seen some shocking, regressive comments towards the LGBTIQ+ community, Danu (a man) wearing nail polish etc. People say such ignorant things because they don't have a proper education and exposure which should have happened in school. I think the education system and the curriculum has to change ASAP!

      In turn the mindset of the society is very very important. I really dislike the fact when society brings up culture n religion which obviously suppress basic rights of a human.

    good job Danu :) keep it up ! As a foreign medical graduate, I totally agree with this conversation. In ethics there's something called breaking the bad news which I think medical education in SriLanka still needs to work on.

    I agree with previous comment that this should be done in sinhala as well, because our education system and the authority still think that this should be kept as a taboo.

    Awesome job with bringing awareness to a taboo topic in SL. As a conservative country I don’t reckon sex education is covered in the general curriculum at school. Therefore; it’s essential to inform people about any and all STDs/STIs. Great episode, bravo and best wishes to the guests ❤️

    There are many organizations, ngos, youth organizations where we talk about those taboo things. As youth we need to know those, feel free to express in a judgment free environment cause we need to move on from this framed society and to have a safe life arround. All those STDs, Abortion, Pregnancy, Family Planning , Contraceptives Menstruation,Gender,Gender role so on are falling under SRHR. To know more reach with FPA, IYAFPSL YANSL, Heart to Heart, Equal ground, Equite Sri Lanka and there are many more. Know our status, being educated on SRHR not means that we promote something. It's for our own benefit!

    What I think, is yes people in Sri Lanka should be alarmed of sex education very well. Because it has been psychologically proven by research that our children have been put out so many restrictions and have created a very thick line between girls and boys, especially by having created separate girl schools and boy schools. Through this their co-connection has being hindered as humans. we ofc have sexual pleasures and love, to be pleased and these girls and boys who have being opened very much to their own sex, and being shy to open before other genders find love within the own sex or may sometimes fulfill their sexual pleasures with them as well. This is on conclusion to something I've heard of a experienced person, resulting many ppl mostly sl to think that ppl who crave for sex or sex addicts are of the gay community. And what I have to say to this is we must increase our awareness of sexual education among the children of our next generation instead of skipping the whole lesson, this is being ignored by most adult educators with the suspense that children might be corrupted, no! Because it's our duty as adults to teach them it in the *right way*, like we learned it. and rather than teaching how to wear a condom teach the privilege of love Superior to sexual pleasures along with. Cause these diseases are resulted in response to human's wildly bad sexual behaviors and though we cure this some else disease will cause to stop the wildy driven sexual pleasures. Along with the awareness of helping the HIV affected indivuals to grow into a normal life, we must educate the children on sexual education and a psychology lesson of love and how we must not be sexually intercourse with ppl for the sake of fulfilling sexual pleasures, but teach them and *help them control it*. Yes cause it is a thing. while you ppl try to stereotype all this new gud concepts *we must stereotype gud sexual behavior as well*, to restore and remain gud health and virtue among ppl. Bcs ppl should have principles and values. And then the gov won't have to worry Abt investing on health thinking they'll have more n more unprotective sex, if we educate them on right sexual behavior. Always remember to start watering n taking care of the roots, no matter how many solutions u find to get rid of the major problems of the out grown if the root of it has a grown in a certain way it can't be helped!!

    • @niroshakamalgoda9199
      @niroshakamalgoda9199 4 роки тому

      Instead of scolding the SL and others bout scolding the gay and other communities to judging them for ppl who crave for sex and it's all for the sex, show them that their is true love among it.
