Geez, kind of a slick ad for Dutch. A script and all. It's a good promo. And yes, I will be getting one to add to my 3 Chameleons (one is a wide), 2 half wits, 3 netless hammocks, and a 12 footer on the way, from Dutchware - along with countless other accessories that I love. My favorite cottage vendor for variety, quality, and selection - congrats on what I am guessing will be a very successful bridge hammock - I know they are not an in-stock item presently (from your appearance on the Schill podcast) so getting it at some point in the future will be all the sweeter - Thank you Dutch and staff !
@@ericwilliams3133 My Amok Draumr is the only one so far I own, so I have no real comparison to this one or other options...yet. The one bridge hammock I tried (WB Ridgerunner) was way too narrow for my chest and shoulders, so it squeezed me into discomfort. My suggestion is to find a local hammock group and go to one of their open hangs. The folks are super nice and will usually let you check out their setup (they/we did pre-virus anyway) and discuss it with you. I'm still a comparative noob to most of these great folks in the community. Good luck!
@@michaelodell5738 I know right? Me too... I just got a Chameleon for xmas from my wife & kids, and have an XLC, a DIY that I made, a Ridgerunner, multiple tarps + everything that goes goes with them, hammock accessories out the @$$ and multiple quilts to cover everything down to -10°.....If I get another hammock I think my wife might actually kick me out of the house lol.
Chesapeake Hammock and Outdoors I’m in the same boat. 2 chameleons, XLC, Eldorado, Dream hammock, 4 different quilt and tarp sets. The only thing I have going for me is that my wife is curious about bridge hammocks 😉
@@michaelodell5738 I'm SLOWLY working on mine. I've got my youngest daughter hooked now so that gives me some ammo, and having my UA-cam channel helps since I could ( not that I have or anything) say that I didn't pay for it, the company sent it free for me to " review" , or that I paid but they give me a refund once review it ..... But that's just theoretical of course, I would NEVER tell a small little white lie like that to my wife just to get more gear 😉😉 lol
Big upgrade on the production for this vid. No more backyard hand cams? Awesome product. Dutch your products are fantastic. I hope this level of production means your successful. I love everything I’ve gotten from you over the years. Keep it up 👍🏼
I do have 3 quick and easy to answer questions though........ 1) Will ONLY bridge-specific UQ's fit, i.e lynx, ridgecreek, mt.Washington, ridgereaper, or will others such as the incubator, graylock and other GE quilts fit as well? 2) I have a full length CDT length Lynx clone that I use on my RR, will I need to modify its corner loops to work with the Banyon? 3) Will Dutchware come out with a Banyon specific UQ like WB and the Jack's did with their bridges?
For gathered end hammocks there is a big difference in comfort between using a pad underneath you and an underquilt. But with bridge hammocks that difference is minimal to nonexistent. So with a hammock like this you may be happy with a simple foam pad, therma-rest, etc.
LOL I'm hating you right now. I literally just bought my second ridgerunner last night. Can you tell me if this is going to be offered in a double layer so that way you can use a pad.
Anybody email or message Dutchwear Gear and find it difficult to get a response ? Just trying to figure out ; if they are worth the effort. I've emailed them and messaged them. Or do they only answer the phone. Are they just swamped ? Help? Thx !
Hi Kelly, We are extremely swamped right now but our customer service rep should be answering emails on a daily basis. If you haven't received a reply would you mind resending your email so we can make sure it came through?
There has always been a long list of reasons why I would not even consider a hammock over my favorite tent. This unit has just about eliminated that list. I’m now officially a-feared to check the price.....you know.....outfitted with all the options I’m sure I’m gonna want. 🥴
I'm over here trying to kick my habit and Dutch be like "lookie, lookie...I got a cookie!" :) Fantastic design - can't wait to see it in person.

Can’t wait to get a Banyan this fall.
Great to see another new product from Dutch. Especially happy to see Dutch so excited in a video.
Nice one Dutch!!
Very cool.
Now to add some hooks or fiberglass poles receivers for tent poles to create a tent, in the event that trees are not handy....
Dutch this is awesome! I can't wait to get one into the field post pictures to hammock forum and social media!
Another option for us stomach sleepers! Thanks, Dutch and team! 🤩
Do you have any hammocks that you successfully stomach sleep in? I'm REALLY wanting one.

Haven’t tried a bridge hammock, but this one is tempting! Great looking product 👍
Once you go bridge, you never go back! Lol
Chesapeake Hammock and Outdoors don’t tell me that, I have too much already wrapped up in these gathered end hammocks I own 🤣

Dutch 2020. If everyone was in a hammock the world would be less stressed 👀
Got it in the mail today!!! Setup and configured everything! WOW, comfy!
Wow. This kicks ass. I just bought an Amok but I am certainly going to give this a look later in the season.
Looks great Dutch! Is there anything you can't think of?!
Can’t wait to try this!! Good stuff man!

Awesome, cant wait to try one out!
Can you attach an underquilt used on a gathered end hammock?
How does a customer get a multicam hammock?
My height is 199cm, is this product fit for me? 😊

background music is too loud, and competing against your voice tonally, maybe find some that isn't primarily in the mid-range
