It's been 41 years since Match Game was canceled. In watching thses shows on UA-cam, I wonder what kind of effects on their lives some of the big money winners had. Is there anybody watching now that won big on the show that would like to respond?
About the lineup for that following week, I can’t believe that Brett and Jack were on the panel at the same time. Also weird seeing CNR in the fifth seat.
Brett and Jack have been on the panel together before several times (episodes 41-45, 56-60, and 86-90). I can't remember which episode it was, but after the show when the credits roll and the spinner gives us shots of various panelists, there was one brief moment when Brett and Jack were facing each other, touching foreheads, and the love and tenderness on both their faces was incredible. It's clear that their comedic roasting of each other was just for fun - mostly - and that they really did love each other, even though their marriage ended. (It is possible to end a marriage and still love your former spouse.) ps I think Charles returns to his normal seat for most of the week, with Jack in #5. I guess I'll find out soon...
They need to bring Chris back, and the reason why, is because BAR AND BATHROOM DO NOT MATCH!!!!!! I cannot believe that Johnny Olson agreed to this! What are these people trying to do make up country even dumber?
