Putting too much thought into driving video. Put a go pro in and make a intro of you driving in. Get you and the boys coffee. Just make sure u take a car with cup holders

I think that’s a good idea if it’s a vlog style video but tbh, make the montage great again.

I like how Taylor Ray does his in car driving video I believe moutned on the harness bar and slightly aimed at the driver gives me personally the best perspective of what's going on.

@@mixedcargarage3781 if anything it was the tune, they were just making too much low end torque. the 2j won't have that problem and is proven to still have more than enough torque and power to compete.

@@D1570R73DI promise you, it wasn’t tune related. Derek is literally in the top 10 best LS tuners in the nation. The shit he tunes in the no prep world makes me confident that he literally does not make mistakes these days.

A cruising video where jimmy talks about life and finances would be a cool video. Like a moto vlog
As for as driving content goes, I love the quick rips through the parking lot! Always cool to hear the cars out there under load at close distance. However, I wouldn’t mind some quick in car driving clips or a short slow cinematic style edit added into the vlogs. I truly love the in-depth content you guys create, it so easy to appreciate the attention to detail that every single one of you in the crew has in everything you all do together and individually. Keep doing what you’re doing. The fans like myself will keep watching.

I can`t say I`m surprised by the 2jz but that being said, I can`t wait to hear it run, especially with that 3.4 L stroker kit, it`s gonna be nuts. Like Faded said before, stick a GoPro in the wagon and take the boys for a cruise. it`s gonna turn out sick either way. The wagon is such a vibe, got a VW Golf R Wagon and they just hit different

for driving videos to go all out i think a head mount go pro with a 360 cam on the back of the car or maybe a camera car following and switching camera angles for pulls i know you might not have many turns but mountain driving is always a blast to watch imo love the vids always watching when they drop makes my day and especially learning stuff

You should also look into WPC treatment it’s not a coating, it’s a metal surface treatment and doesn’t change the size or thickness of the material. They have a video on UA-cam as well showing and explaining what it is and what it does.
My favorite driving videos have been the 1 on 1 vids of Jimmy driving around in one of his cars and just talking. Talking about the build talking about life talking about upcoming events

I’m excited AF. I’m buying a brand new 2JZ from Toyota for my Soarer project, too. Still stuck on do I want to use my Yamaha head and only buy the short block or do I want to go full 2J. I love Yamaha and my Celica and my MR2 both have Yamaha heads.
But, I got cash in hand and a buddy of mine got me a $1200 discount since he works at Toyota. I need to pull the trigger before my birthday in three weeks. 2024 is going to be awesome!
The wagon is my favorite. A little biased cause i also have a 1000whp calypso e36 sedan. And even though im from Southern Maryland the car was sponsored and built by ics in Stamford CT. Was built in 06/07 so its pretty low compression and laggy with the 80mm. Nitrous was needed. Was honestly more fun when it was making 700whp on stock internals. I need to update it soon.
Love the vlogs and shop videos but super cinematic, aesthetically pleasing, 90-120 second driving videos would be sweet on occasion

I can agree to this. I love watching him build cars but a video or two a month of him and the boys out driving the cars, showing them off, and letting us enjoy the different noises they all make would be 🤌🏻

Just an idea for a driving video you could do a Q&A style of video where you drive said car of choice and answer questions from comments or IG 🤷♂️ think done right it has a lot of potential and leave room for growth
