I have seen many Windows users who forgot their Bitlocker key and even don't remember the recovery option. This can be really frustrating as neither you can log in nor even reset Windows.
So during such scenarios, you have only one solution to format your Drive where you will be losing all your data and then you can install Windows again. You also need to create a bootable Windows USB to install as there will be no OS working

Hi men, I had a problem at the moment I put "assign letter=C". It showed me "Virtual disk service error: the specified drive letter is not free to be mapped". What can I do? I'm desperate. I have tried putting another letter but the disk that is created only has 8 MB. My laptop is still locked by bitlocker. I'd appreciate your help. Thanks
i have same issue i still had hope but now i give up , if the key is not on MS account nor on AD since the laptop on domain ,if you don't have the key that's it 😢
When i type list volume is shows
Volume 0 ltr not given label not given fs is raw type is partition and size is 238 and info is also not given what should i do please someone help😢

The thing is I am booting from usb drive and when I am listing the disks from cmd it is only showing my usb drive, what should I do ?

Thank you, I think it worked, but I'm not sure it deleted all the files I had. I needed it to clean up all my files as the computer will be used by someone else.

always backup your recovery key guys. it's not that hard comon now. saving it to your microsoft account is by far the safest option.

At least I got past the bitlocker
Was able to clean but when installing new windows 11, the keyboard does not work nor is there a cursor. What can I do?
Same here, Bluetooth, touchpad, touchscreen even wifi didn't worked but it's easy you just need to install the drivers

But then it defeats the purpose of trying to get around the Bitlocker activation because this video shows the same thing that you do when you do not have an operating system installed. I thought in the end your method will show how to access the old files and data that you couldn't access due to Bitlocker activation? Apparenlty your method only wipes out the drive the way I see it.
