Hoarding +1 - Next level‽
John Hancock subbed

Thank you,
Barnacules (aka. Chub'N'Tuck)
Good stuff man. I get cheered up with your content. You are my xanax, Jerry.
I could use some Xanax :D
Barnacules Nerdgasm can you please respond I love your videos
Sure JSV Industries!
Barnacules Nerdgasm thank you so much I love your 1 up box videos
This is a great video! I love visiting John Hancock's game room. It's EPIC!!
I was overwhelmed just editing the footage. It's easy to miss so much!
Joins the most epic in the video game,
Barnacules taking a tour with the Immortal and putting a commentary on the great Jesus. 3 channels . Three of the best
Gamestop be like : That'll be about 20 bucks.
+Robert Rombalski I laughed.
I would have never expected the answer from you :D
I actually live in The Netherlands, but is Gamestop that bad?!??!?
No it is within reason with respect to "market value" that said the value for games correlates closely to time so old games worth less...that said these are antique games....
The joke plays on the shock we've all experienced when getting an offer from a buyer who wants to retail. second hand is cheap....the "cost" on retailing second hand is "insulting" if one doesn't see the bigger picture.
It's a great way to get less for your games....but at the time there was no kijiji, ebay craigs list...so they added a tiny bit of value if you knew no one lol
Robert Rombalski a pawnshop would charge you 1000 for a damn gameboy
Wonder how many times he bought a game thinking he didn't have it, but he did
I bet this happens a lot :D
Bruno Herrera more than I want to admit
:P thanks for the reply :) amazing collection!
FINALLY IT'S MINE! I've been looking all over for this ultra rare copy of thi....sees 9 more copies laying in the corner, Tosses it with them.
I hope you didn't slip one of his games into your back pocket when he wasn't looking.
I have autism and all these charity's make me feel so happy it's so nice to see that people care
You can tell how proud and enthusiastic he is about his collection. Look at that smile!
Dude should SOOO create a video gaming museum!!!! at $5 a ticket...dude would be ROLLING in money for people to see stuff like that!
+Brian C unfortunately things would probably start disappearing.
Barnacules Nerdgasm not if kept locked up behind glass no one Need's to touch things.
Brian C he's planning on creating one
OMG!! A lot of memories with this video. I played with almost all those consoles back in the day. It was great being born a decade before the video game boom began.
i love John. I've been watching his channel for a few months now and I have to say, while his videos aren't the highest quality, he always keeps me engaged and I learn something new about video games every time.
Oh yeah, when i saw the instagram pictures i was waiting for a room video! The Immortal John Hancock, the happiest man on earth! Awesome video Barn!
John is the nicest freaking guy in the world, really. He's a cool, considerate, knowledgeable and upbeat guy. He's got an epic collection as well!
Damn, the Power Pad...bringing back memories for me Barn! My cousin passed away in a car accident in the mid-90's and one of the best memories was visiting his family and him in rural Texas. He had an NES and we played the Olympics game non-stop. The long jump was my jam!!
I feel like we had a VIS briefly when I was growing up. I remember, in the first home I lived in (early - mid 90s), my sister and I would play this Sesame Street video game on something connected to the TV, that wasn't a PS1 or anything. For the longest time, I had no clue what it was, and I've thought about it occasionally over the years.
That game room never ceases to amaze me. Like looking in the ark of the covenant, only without the melting faces.
love how he smiles when he talks about it all great collection
He always looks happy☺
Jerry i really loved this video, and i am a huge fan of john hancock. Glad to see you back on track man loving the content
Clearly you haven’t heard of the Last Gamer
Retro Collector Last Gamer is #1 game collector on the planet and shold be more recognize
This guy has more complete retro sets, though? I don't think Last Gamer has 26 complete retro sets (Last Gamer has many complete sets that are modern and retro). Although, Last Gamer does have more overall. I mean, Last Gamer has literally filled a house with his collection, whereas, this is just one room inside a house.
i love john's smile you can tell his a good guy.
John Hancock. What a chill dude.
Finally a very interesting clip. Love to see the game rooms and what others are collecting. I will never come anywhere close to those kind of collections, but it gives me nice ideas what else I should pick -up in future..
thanks, and looking forward to the next room tour!
Great video! always happy to see Mr. Hancock showing off stuff I've never seen.
I really enjoyed every second of it.
John Hancock is my Twin UA-camr! I sometimes get messages on UA-cam from random people saying: You look the same, you look like twins!! :D
+RETRO Machines you do look similar ;)
LOL yes so strange :D
We look alike but there can only be one...haha
The best part is you both do videos about video game stuff.
I love that you Washington guys all stick together and help each other out. Great video
This dude has a ridiculously chill smile.
You're right he's not a millionaire, he's a multi-millionaire because of that collection
its a real accomplishment to see a collection like this ... I'm always amazed at people who do this and have a real respect as not anybody can do a collection like this .. specially at the rare stuff console or ad-ons .. nice video Barnacules .. and yea your garage video was fun to watch too .. watching you fill in that crack was hilarious ..
Wow....this is a trip back to the childhood for sure! Pitfall II for the Atari 2600 was amazing - so need to pick it up again someday. I played about demo'ing the Bally Astrocade from the 70's at Montgomery Ward - funkiest controllers ever! Oh yeah...so many memories in that room that I saw. Love it!
I had the ColecoVision when I was a kid. I loved that thing, 1984 was the year.
I always love these video games/technology collections
Stoked to see a video with three of my favourite video game nerds together. Saw the comment by MJR’s too which added to the cool factor. There are times where the filter makes IJH look like he is in the seventies and the games around him are in the present. This video made my night. Thanks gents.
MJR e-beggar crew are pathetic
I fell asleep with your videos playing and had this crazy dream. We went on a road trip with your wife while playing a genesis you had set up in your vehicle. It got me thinking of a retro gaming taxi service.
I saw that copy of Gateway to Apshai at 22:00. I had that on my Commodore 64. One of my favorite games, next to Jumpman.
The one thing I was looking for in here was the NES Advantage joystick controller. I LOVED that controller. It was such a win for my disabled hands.
I also saw 'Paperboy' and the Power Pad. Seeing the Power Pad was cool.
THE IMMORTAL JOHN HANCOCK!
Got to love John Hancock, he has a great channel.
I didn't even realize until you made the pajama pants jab that you were wearing jeans for a change! I'm so proud of you!
i had the boxing version of that Game Watch... It was my favorite toy growing up. Man I wish I still had that boxing.
It must be a challenge to combat mold with that many games in a garage. Amazing collection
John Hancock's smile can cure cancer.
This is so incredibly, unbelievably, inconceivably awesome!
Got that "Chub N' Tuck" down to perfection.
Another great video, Jerry! If he's ever in a tight financial bind, he can just sell his collection as backup. Badass gaming vault.
+Chris OldSchoolBrah agreed! One hell of a retirement plan.
That's gorgeous....congrats on having such an amazing collection.
LOL the 'Adam' system was a hoot. Coleco put it out and IIRC you had to turn it on by a switch on the printer it came with. God what a trip down memory lane lol
The "odyssey " was an epic arcade in our local shopping centre, many awesome memories there! Quesnel british columbia canada!
good to see two of my favourite youtubers working together! nice work guys
John Hancock is really cool but .. What about Joel the Last Gamer ? He has the wold record .. and a youtube show
Love seeing John's game room. And it's sweet to see it though the eyes of others. Some cool insight, and a very pretty collection!
You used every inch.... yeah that is kind of the thing when you get a massive collection. Its a sport to even get more into the same room.
I love how religious Gerry is about tucking his shirts in 😂 I can't stand doing it lol
When I retire, I'll be coming to look to buy your collection. Great video, thanks for sharing.
'
great video. awesome journey to the past. a big salute to John Hancock and all the John's Hancock's in the world that preserve this treasures. defenetlty subscribing his channel.
What gives me life... is in 2018 there is someone out there with an active Vectrex Devkit
It belongs in a museum!
Finally a real video, nobody's really shown his collection. Thumbs up:)
It's funny, you're saying nobody has really shown it and someone else said this is old news... Which one is it? The internet is giving me a complex :D
If you look on youtube, I think it's metaljessusrocks it's nothing but a dark grainy video showing the room.
Even John didn't do a video like you.
Gazooo29 pretty sure Gamester81 did one was very good that how i knew about johns channel
Yea mj did one, gamester did one
This was awesome. I would def like to see more of these. Thanks!
Jerry and john Riggs! Rocking the house.!
all day, every day.
Sega Saturn ! Holy hell I remember having one way back in the days ! It was pretty decent ! Never saw one other than the one I had. Very cool !
I think it looks very organized and clean, great video guys!!
When I saw this thumbnail I was all like "Is that the Immortal John Hancock" and then it was. I was actually introduced to his stuff through Metal Jesus Rocks. Who I found either through the sidebar on an LGR video or the sidebar on a Barnacules video.
You know what I want to see, it's an unboxing of all the sealed games and systems....
Still such an amazing collection 🙏
That green filter makes everything look like it has severe sun fading on the boxes. :P
I'd love to just be able to collect all of the NES, SNES and N64 games. My favorite systems.
Nice collection.
I've been collecting for around 39 years now myself. Early on I made the decision to only collect the games I enjoy to play.
I really only collect mint condition, complete games too. I was lucky enough to have bought about 90% of my collection (4,000ish games, 250+ systems) at the time when they were still being sold as new.
I feel bad for collectors just starting up now. Especially with Nintendo games. The prices have gone nuts in the past 10 years.
intellivison shelf looks like our home as a kid. We had tons of intellivsion games between us and our cousins
Really impressive.I love it. Don't want to take anything away from your awesome collection. But my childhood discovery from this vid,was the Commodore stuff.
+Tr1kk1 commodore and Amiga brings back so many memories for me also.
Watching this video makes me want to play video games.
That MUSHA C.I.B. just sticks out in the best way.
John seems like a good dude, one heck of a collection and bigger then John Holmes Metal Jesus told me.
This i love both of you guys!! So dope to see you guys, what a small world :D
I miss my Vectrex.
Great video, thanks Jerry.
Damn that collection is impressive! Wish I had room for that lol.
Watching this reminded me that I still have a Sega Master System that I bought new when it came out and has only been played 3 different times and it's been stored in a closet ever since.
Loved my Sega Saturn, those were great times.
+Gordie Clark I rented a Sega Saturn when they first came out and thought it was unreal!
Barnacules Nerdgasm The system was definitely ahead of it's time and very underrated. I was lucky enough to own the system but I only had a handful of games. I remember playing the shit out of panzer dragon, ah those were the days.
John, you need to coordinate with the AVGN for a nerd-like Holy Grail episode. Would be hilarious and awesome!
What a huge collection!
Hes an awesome dude.
You guys earned 1000 exp to complete this procedural generated retrogame-dungeon!
pretty sure the last gamer has a bigger collection
Yeloazndevil no one even comes close to The Last Gamer
John is down to earth and been collecting the games a lot longer than the last gamer. :)
Last gamer just buys and buys and buys. Dudes annoying because he's just buying without the real passion of collecting like John.
@@michaelbowen840 Yep, anyone that includes The Immortal in their moniker must be real salt of the earth. Nobody begs quite like John. From Patreon to his UA-cam channel, he asks for donations (monetary and titles). There are many stories of him rejecting or belittling people who send him titles, making them feel like they're worthless to him.
I'd also say that LG has been collecting longer. Hancock claims he started collecting in the mid-90s at which time he had about 100 titles. LG has been collecting since the late 80s, including importing Super Famicon and Mega Drive titles directly from Japan.
@@OOOHBILLY How is their passion any different? LG knows just as much about the items he has collected.
I had the purple see through TIger Gamecom. I actually loved it haha.
loved the "SEEEGAAAA doesntsueyoutuberslikeNintendo" part XD
I think it would be awesome to hear about some of the collections that are almost complete and why they aren't
John's such a cool guy. Already subbed to him. Great episode guys.
Omega Race? Between that and Yards Revenge I killed hours as a kid. That really takes me back. I even had a Vic20 version of Omega Race.
Oh man. Tapper. I played that all the time when I was a little kid. I still remember the music -- "Entertainer."
I also really liked Hard Hat Mac. I wonder if John has that, too.
Fantastic I love retro games and I love you both.
An original Akalabeth, from before the California Pacific publishing deal! That's insane!
Sweet collection! I live in NYC so there's no way I could ever have space for something like this :P ;)
that was awesome! Thanks for sharing!
"Troll, troll troll troll' destroyed me!
I have missed you having fun with your videos. Wish you luck reaching 1,000,000 subs man!
You are a great host Jerry! When can we expect a live show from you?
Odyssey 2, thats what I started with. That and the TI-92 keyboard thing though my older brothers enjoyed that more.
Pick Ax Pete and the Rings quest. Good times on black and white TV's
Man, I use to use the Wii fit for hours, literally... :( Right now it is just sitting on my floor in my room, I don't even have a Wii in here. I just use it as a board to sit computers on. Dang, you feel old when you think back to the Nintendo 64 and Sega Genesis... dang...
My most remembered NES games were probably, Lifeforce, Dodgeball, and Marble Madness.
Cousin had an Odyssey with the screen you put up on your TV
more videos with John hancock!!! and more gaming content!
John you're my inspiration to get a full Mega Drive/ Genesis collection. Only 2 Genesis games so far but at 33 MD's
Long way to go roughly over 700 games.
Barnunucales your my favorite UA-cam and your 1 up box videos are amazing !
NES 2 in box! Cool. I got one without the box at a thrift store.
