    I have just found your channel and LOVE IT! Thank you for the hard work! This is my favorite holiday! I have been debating my talent for designing props. and you have given me that extra push I needed! I love this especially! I dressed as a witch many years ago here in Cincinnati oh. My husband is in a band and also runs sound so we had all of the lights and music! But, people wouldn't let their kids come get candy out of fear! LOL!!! I have a blast regardless! But now I think he is going to play this holiday so I have a stage to decorate. I can't wait! Thanks again!

I also placed a fog machine with a hose going into the coldren and behind The Cauldron I put a sheet up and play Dave movie with my projector making it look like a witch was stirring The Cauldron. How did you place the hose connection to the smoke machine output. If you had a shot of that would be great. That is so cool!

    • @MonsterTutorials
      @MonsterTutorials  7 років тому

      I just held it in place, but left a gap so that wet fog steam can mix with air. Otherwise it won't work. However, you can make a cylinder out of metal mesh and use that as a hose connection that lets the fog mix with the air.

    Absolutely amazing tutorial!!! Thank you! My kids and i are doing this one! How exactly did you connect the hose to the fog machine?

    • @MonsterTutorials
      @MonsterTutorials  7 років тому +4

      Hi there,
      The fog machine is not connected since there needs to be a space where the hot fog steam mixes with air. So I just aim the fog at the hose and it makes it's way to the cauldron. If you attach them, without the air gap, there will be no fog. Hope that helps.
      Cheers,

    Loved this tutorial. I used your instructions for the coals to make a removable bed of coals for my grill that I mounted on an aluminum cookie sheet after putting in the lights. For next Halloween I'm thinking about doing the cauldron and coals or some kind of fiery pit to the underworld, although that might be a bit ambitious. Love the channel.

    If you have to place the smoke machine a couple inches away from the hose pipe how would it travel up as i thought it would all just escape from the opening?

    • @MonsterTutorials
      @MonsterTutorials  7 років тому +1

      The hot steam has to mix with air first to become fog, so you need that gap. Some fog will escape, but most will be pushed into the hose. If you don't leave the gap, you have a wet hose with no fog coming out.
      Hope that helps.
