The Verna has features similar to the Creta 2020. Of course with a few add ons such as heated seats, ADAS etc. I’ve driven both the Virtus TSI and the Creta SXO for great lengths. The following are my genuine observations:- Pros of Virtus 1. Unmatched driving dynamics. The feel of a drive in highway is far superior. The Co passenger can make out that the Creta has touched 100 but not the case on the Virtus. Extremely stable even on corners. Gives you the confidence to rev the engine. 2. Good sound system. 3. Highway economy is good if not driven hard. 4. Adequate space. 5. Looks. Not a single day that I’ve not been proud of owning such a beautiful vehicle. Pros of Hyundai 1. Fuel efficiency even in peak traffic. 2. Amazing sound system. 3. Features. Especially the auto hold feature which nobody talks about. It’s so convenient to drive with auto hold in peak city traffic. To sum it up. Hyundai is a VFM vehicle and one can’t go wrong buying it but the Virtus is a vehicle only for the enthusiasts. Also, IMO the interiors of the Virtus looks much more sophisticated. Dimag se socho then Verna Dil ❤ se toh Virtus.

Elegance lies in its simplicity & confidence as demonstrated by Virtus. On the contrary Verna'23 seems to have tried too hard to be trendy with a bunch of cosmetic curves & angles.
No doubt the Virtus is an amazing car… and it was my first preference tbh… but we all have to agree that VW had made its interior very cheap and there are a ton of cost cuttings on the Virtus. It doesn’t look or feel premium on the inside. Plus VW service hasn’t improved yet… Verna on the other hand is like a safe bet. You feel like your money is well spent (considering both this cars are now touching 20 lakhs on road for the Turbo) so yea thats a huge sum of money. But when you sit inside the Verna, you feel like this is something special. The NVH levels are much lesser, the quality of the exterior and the interior is much better and of course, its far more reliable. But the biggest concern will be Safety, VW has proved that the MQB A0- IN is a solid platform, but I’ve heard some reviewers say that the build quality also feels good this time, like the door shut, the heavy hood etc, only time will tell.
I don't want to argue but if possible take the test drive or virtus GT and i can bet you will not come back to hyundai if you are a knowledgeable person

As a family car, Verna is a much better option with more rear space, boot space, and more features (also much less expensive). So we’re left with the engine. Anyone who doesn’t want 1.5 Turbo should go for 1.5 NA of Verna over 1.0 Virtus. Now the real question comes. GT or Verna Turbo. GT has a great engine but we don’t know about the performance of Verna yet, on paper it’s better. Then safety. Virtus has 5 stars and while we don’t know Crash Test Rating of Verna yet we do know it has so many more safety features, specially if you consider lower models and Virtus doesn’t even come close. Add to it, everyone knows Verna has always had better quality as compared to other hyundai cars like i20 and Creta. So we’ll just have to wait. But Verna at this stage looks the better package overall , easily.

After that the verna 1.5 N/A engine is still underpowered in front of virtus 1L TSI (114 bhp and 178 NM tourqe). 1.5 TSI is the next league engine engineering level wise . And i am confident about its performance. Regarding interior quality, that was just the extra exaggerated by biased reviewers when the first slots came with few issues . And the one who doesn't own VW gets easily manipulated . Go and check the inheritors there is no comparison,it's very neat and well built interior and long lasting after all the initial issues are resolved. Verna interior looks cheap and not at all luxurious nor sportier . We can't compare virtus that is built on Audi A1 platform having one of the best TSI engine with verna . Virtus handling, precision engineering, high speed stability and that sense of safety in that plus performance, 7 layered paints , laser welding on most of the areas like roof ( you can see there is no rubber bidding on virtus roof it's just a single peace structure) whereas verna roof looks pathetic and for hiding the welding marks that rupper looks ugly . Well laser welding is expensive and makes the shell stronger, hyundai can't afford it . VW gives this from the polo time bro and they never showoff it beacuse it's in there DNA . NVH levels are brilliant in virtus as now there is no Diesal engines , these TSI are very silent and performance oriented. Virtus is a complete package it's like an Audi at a lesser price . What verna has only features to play with. Virtus has almost all practical features that gets the job done . At the end what matters is how the cars drive and that's where no one comes close. So conclusion is please first check both the cars in person and then judge. India is a place that is always biased against good brands like ford Chevrolet VW skoda and at the end these famous international brands have to go leaving Indians with inferior tech cars .
Bro says Verna has more safety features than Virtus, yes maybe in the top model but not a stable and safe platform. I think you have never driven this car because I can bet on this no car company in India comes even close to superior ride quality of VW/Skoda cars. I own a Rapid and Virtus and both are such a gem of cars. Hyundai has given the engine which produces more power and some additional features than the GT version for now but we all know about the Hyundai cars performances they are high selling for sure but if you prefer driving dynamics over features such as air purifiers and gimmicky ambient lights you already know what your answer would be.

To sum up, virtus is more akin to model 3, just curved window line and simple front and back. Nothing too sharp. P.s. - I found Virtus more coupeish than verna.
