Hi, how have you delete that fault codes? I have changed the pads and the car is crazy like your. Fault code about esc, steering, breaks…. Thank for the video.
changed my front and rear pads and now theres all knds of warning lights like ATS, BRAKES, Front end collision and some other stuff. Any clue on fixing those?
Kudos to you!! Great Job1 I am in the process of creating a work instruction (with tools included), for myself for brake pad replacement because of the excellent quality and detail provided by your video production.
I changed after 15000 km like 7 thousands miles, in my stelvio the new that cames with car, with the ate ceramic plates, they are fromconti entalbrand, they are in ceramic but not extreem, thye brake better than original for sure, and also don't make any dust at all thats the first why i change them, my black weels stay clean 😍 they also last more than the original and consumink the discs less than the original one
Interested as to why you had codes afterwards. I changed my Guilia discs/pads front and rear no issues. I left the battery connected but the fob was left well away from the car as I read having it close by can cause warning lights. I also pumped the pedal to take up the pad to piston gap before the initial function on the dash to reset the rears.
i wish i knew why it was a total PITA to clear out. Maybe because the pads were so worn and the car sensors picked up a drastic variance i do not know but it is all good now
Cheers. Likely the amount of fluid movement. I pushed the pistons back just enough rather than all/ most of the way back. Great channel and love the set up you have there!
….when I purchased my brand new BMW 540i xDrive (G30 chassis) a couple of years ago…I immediately changed the front/rear M Sport brake pads to EBC Redstuff. I thought the upgrade of these pads took the M Sport brake performance to the next level…w/ less brake dust,of course!!!!
yeah i do like the yellows on my car as well they do wear quickly. I am trying to decide what pads i put on the QV next i am waiting still for my custom rotors to show up
The labor is was the easier part but afterward it threw me bunch of code and I tried multiple scanners to clear it and calibrate the sensor and it didn't work. now my only one front and one back of my breaks works. I forgot to open the pressure cap from the hood when I started to work.
Hey, don’t know if you’re gonna see this, but how long did the red stuff pads last? I’m in urban areas with constant stop go traffic, so hoping to get atleast 30-40k miles. Was looking at Porterfield, or can you recommend a budget long lasting brake pad pls? I have a giulia 2.0
everything looked easy until you got to the "codes" that's when you get scared. can you tell me what scanner you use and possible tips for clearing properly? great video thank you!!!
One quick question Great video by the way. How did you cleared out the codes My truck did the same thing you said all the lights came out on the dashboard lol .help please
I used the same break pads and kept the original rotors and resurfaced them but I keep getting a squeaky noise when I break it almost sounds like when I’m running low on breaks any idea what it could be?
Hey I know you said you had ESC light and other kind of lights going off having same problem I’m having after installing…how did you fix this or what was your problem
Excellent video on the pad installation! However, I went to EBC's site (no local dealer) and they don't list Alfa Romeo under their "Yellow" brake pad applications..
I didn't see you bleed the brakes on the video. Were you able to replace the pads without bleeding? Also you mentioned the codes did you disconnect battery? I've heard you have to go through key cycles or turn the steering wheel far left then far right then turn the ignition off on
Hi Daniel I did not do the bleed in this video because I did a detailed brake bleeding and flush video on my Alfa Romeo Giulia QV which is the exact same procedure, That video is on this channel if you search youll find it from the last summer. The codes were because the pads were so badly worn and pushing the pistons back in set the system off crazy. I scanned it with my Multi Scan Laptop and cleared codes in minutes which was a relief. You really need Multi Scan to work on the Alfa if you plan to do any DIY service yourself/
I have a 2019 Jaguar XE S AWD(Supercharged V6) that had a software tune. It is currently sitting at ~410HP(most likely at the crank). I plan on getting the supercharger pulley upgrade too, which would bump it up a little but its mainly for low end torque. The car needs some new brakes after 34k miles. I can't decide if I need the yellowstuff or if the redstuff would be more than sufficient.I plan on changing all four rotors and pads.
very hard to find online now. I suggest you go OEM for the pads we had awful noise issues with the EBC I installed and we were not able to solve this until we went back to OEM pads and rotors.
Abs pad wire break, the pads are far from worn out. How would u fix ? Can it be molded? Metal glued maybe. Wire broke Just approx 10mm before plastic Holder that you can see is attached at the end of pad cable/wire
Hi Mr. thank you for this video. I'm looking for the yellow stuff front for my stelvio as well but it seems there are different codes for them. Do you have the right code to find online? thank you very much. Even the rear red ones. Thank you!!
gonna be tough to find now. We removed the EBC pads because they developed such bad squeal we could not solve them until we replace the pads with OEM and new OEM rotors the noise became unbearable for some reason on the Stelvio but on my Giulia QV never once had any issues it might be the way the IBS was programmed between both cars.
love this video! quick question, I also wanted to paint the yellow part in black like u did... just wondering how it is holding up so far for you? did it flakes at all? and did you just degreased them and paint or would u recommend to sand down and put a primer before hand?
i forgot to include in the video description but if you look online at the EBC website they have an application chart and you will find the front and rear part numbers.
Great video! I just got a set of rotors and pads from ebc for my 19 Range Rover autobiography because being honest, the brakes are straight shit from the factory lol. Hoping to have a smooth install with great improvements!
@@autofanaticcars yea they honestly suck but the main reason I even pulled the trigger on them was because I think the factory rotors are warped and it causes a super bad vibration when braking over 90-100mph but 🤷 I’m just excited to finally have good brakes lmao

No maintenance required other than oil changes. Great quality, no squeaks, rattles, still in perfect condition. This is a New England car! Salt and all!

Hi, how did you fix the codes?
Start the car. Turn the steering wheel all the way to the left. Then all the way to the right.
I installed EBC Yellow Stuff on my Ghibli SQ4 front and rear and although dusty, the feel and stopping power are much better than OEM Brembo pads.
yeah the EBC are a softer pad and do dust out quite a bit
Damn..you lost me at Dust! I guess nothing like the OEMs.

You need to get a laptop and download Multiscan ECU and run a full system check and clear all brake codes in the system.
