RIP Dom. He filled the world with laughter. Such a warm and funny and loveable guy. Grew up watching him and Burt Reynolds in all those wonderful movies. Never knew much about Dom's private life - it's so nice to see he had a lovely family with him. It's a pleasure to meet you Michael. God bless.

If Dom were still alive today, He would have his own Show, On the Food Network , With his great Recipes & his Cooking Skills on Italian food , I am sure etc.

I agree. I loved Dom for his incredibly heartwarming animated characters (Oliver & Company, An American Tail, etc) and his comedic roles in film like the Godson and History of the World Part I. He carries his persona so well into this cooking video (I cannot access the books) that I can't help but think what a successful cooking show he would have had in his golden years if he lived another 10 more years.

Michael-much respect for keeping your father's memory alive with these entertaining videos.
Being Italian myself I know your dad is looking down with pride.

My Italian Catholic aunt took me to see fatso at the graumans chineese theater in Hollywood Ca. It was a double feature...Fatso & Guyana Cult of the Damned. 1980!
    I was 10!

I grew up watching Dom in the 70s and onward and just loved him. He was so funny and seemed like such a kind, sweet, and gentle man. Now, with UA-cam, I can see many of Dom's other appearances that I missed on "The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson," "The Dean Martin Show," and others. Dom was so funny in "Hot Stuff" and "The End." Then again, he was great in everything. "The Cannonball Run" films, too, of course, with Burt Reynolds. When Dom passed away, it was like losing a family member. Though I didn't know him, like many others, I loved him. I always will.

@Anna DiPietro Thanks, Anna. I've never seen that film, but have great things about it. I'll see if I can find it.

@Anna DiPietro Great movie, yes. But the lovely Anne Bancroft played his sister. She was nowhere near old enough to be his mom.

Michael, it was so heartwarming seeing you and David on the beach with your dad. It is obvious that you had a very special relationship.

Dom's series Lotsa Luck in 1973 was one of the best shot lived series. NBC pulled the plug too soon .

Comedy without self-depreciation and depreciation of others isn't comedy at all.
