Great job Jason - looks good as new! Your history of the truck brand made me smile as living in Brazil 🇧🇷 I can see why the changed the name to sounding like “They Can” from the rather dubious sounding “They (Errrrm) Copulate” ;-)
Outstanding work Jason! It looks brand new and so much better than it did before. This is one of my favorite Matchbox models and I had three of them as a kid. Thanks for sharing this.
nice and shiny again. ^^ I think they never painted the grille as exact as you did at matchbox'... I find it interesting that most british trucks were lovingly designed and seemingly often painted in multitones, while on the mainland trucks designs were much more pragmatic. and fiberglass cabins? I am not sure if we have them here even today... maybe partial. but wholly? naah, too innovative! XD
That real one that was in use , was that a vintage one ? Great work as always , I have a few of these from junk to one that is a number 9.5 with the box . This is a favorite of mine . Your work is better then new . WOW WOW WOW . The front came out SOOO KOOOLLLLL >

next toy I find detecting will send to you x
That would be great, thank you!
Good job, I already made some at home but it doesn't look the same hahaha. Do you only use lye and hot water to remove the paint? 🇧🇷
Yes that’s all I use. If it’s extra stubborn very rarely I’ll additionally use some chemical paint stripper, but that’s only happened once or twice

Fun fake fact - Hoveringham made a considerable amount of coin being the official Doctor Who quarry...
