I’m a Toronto FC supporter but man… CPL has a strong future. We honestly didn’t deserve that win and Forge played incredibly well. I’m excited about the future of this club and this league!

On behalf of all Canadian Soccer fans it’s awesome to see a Canadian Championship final be played two years after it was scheduled and it be such a competitive match between the old guard TFC and the former champions of the CPL. The Canadian Premier League will hold the Voyageurs Cup one day!

Bobby is a hell of a coach. They are lucky to have him and he deserves success.

Look I get this still went on cause the pandemic kept postponing this edition numerous times and as result Toronto was awarded the CCL spot and Forge was promised to host it. I do. But it shouldn’t have been held. It’s basically like the Leagues Cup. Meaningless. Might as well just canceled it

Could not disagree more, there was a gap in the Canadian Championship for 2020 where instead of one winner it was just “pending” instead, so thankful it’s not fixed. Professional leagues don’t cancel championships, they honour them.
