Absolutely horrendous defending on the 2nd goal… How did TFC not tie it late with those chances? Absolutely embarrassing and dreadful all around from tfc smdh … playing like u-14s ffs
To be honest, I was impressed by Bernadeschi, he really put a lot of effort into running for the ball. It certainly didn’t seem to me like he wasn’t trying or caring.
That lucky TFC goal could save them. 2-0 would have been better. Besides that, TFC is unwell and Forge can do great things and also concede lame goals in the dying minutes.
It'll be TFC and Vancouver in the final. I'd expect a 2 or 3 goal win for Toronto in the return leg. The lower sides can give the MLS sides fits at home and even win, but generally falter away from home in an aggregate series. I'd like to see Forge win, because that's the glory of having these Cup competitions, but usually, it's the MLS sides that reach the finals of these Cup competitions. Same deal with the US Open Cup, and Cup competitions world wide.
