I want to say thank you so much. I have an Arrow stapler I couldn’t use for over a year. Followed your instructions and it was the same problem you showed. Pulled out the jammed staple with needle nose pliers. Saved me from buying new. Working great, now back to building birdhouses.

Thanks for the inspiration. TIP: if you repeatedly get jammed staples, then check out the spring/pusher mechanism that keeps the staples engaged to the end of the loading dock. Do this while the mechanism is uninstalled from the stapler. If you find it getting jammed along the race, then you will always get jammed staples. Take a mill file and file the sides of the pushing mechanism (the upside "U" shaped thing). Dont go crazy, but file away on the faces for 20-60seconds. Test it in the race again. If its still getting stuck and not sliding freely, file again. Once it slides in easily under the power of the spring, use some spray grease (I used lithium) on the race to help the spring move. It will glide. No more jammed staples. I should make a video of this and earn money from it.

Those things ate such a pain in the butt, it took me a whole day to load one up, till i founfmd you can change sizes in the gun, it is a rare video, veruy good for house wives, or women living alone because no one teaches us these simple mechanical things.
    Thanks kevin.

Thank you so much for this video 🙏 I borrowed this same exact stapler from my Dad. I went to buy more staples and forgot to check what size and bought the wrong size and they got stuck 😅🤦🏻‍♀️ I'm too embarrass to call my Dad and ask how to fix it, but thankfully your video saved me from the shame 😅👍

I have a Trojan stapler and with it you don’t have to unbolt the mechanism. It pivots on the bolt you unscrewed and you just need to slide the mechanism back using two finger holds on the mechanism. With yours you may be able to just push the mechanism back with a screwdriver between the nubs to release the mechanism and pivot it out to clear. Simply then just click it back into place.

Thank-you so much. Mine jammed and I was flabbergasted that I couldn't get the staple out after years and years of using them. So of course "UA-cam" clicked on you and 30 seconds done.
It wasn't a full staple it was only one prong that wasnt coming out any other way. It stuck to my magnetic screwdriver. lol

Kevin, get a powershot, the handle presses in at the opposite end, much easier to press all day. They run about $20 now but look at yard sales. I just use a little 3 in1 household oil on the spring, (sewing machine oil works really well) and it rarely jambs. Good video btw!

I bought one and it didnt work for crap and always jammed. If you look at other reviews on Home Depot it seems many others dislike it also. I also found it wouldnt drive staples flush with the materials. I really liked the feel and mechanics but it was a no go for me. I stick with my old beat up arrow t50

I was pulling out the loader and putting the staples in that. NOPE. You put them in through the bottom, and push the loader back in and latch. I think I did the same idiotic thing the last time I used the staple-gun, probably over 5 years ago. I think I will write a reminder on some duct tape and stick it on the damned thing for the next time.
