I realize this video is eight years old, but it completely changed my life. I just got a staple gun for the first time for my crafting stuff and my arm hurts from trying to operate it correctly and getting mad. Lol. Thank you so much. I’m not joking when I tell you that you have a literally made a huge impact on my life!

Sounds stupid, but yeah there are a lot of us single women having to learn how to do our own repairs & many more learning diy! I know this was many years ago, but this was EXACTLY what I came to YT to learn! Thanks. I've been advised to buy a rivet gun by one guy, air compressor staple gun by another. I went out back, and stapled a bunch of cans on hard wood the way you taught us. I think the chisel tooth 3/4" staples might do fine. I need them to penetrate two layers of .030 aluminum to wood. If not I'll buy a port and cable staple gun.
That's ironically unfourtunate as now it's 060 aluminum.

Dainty little lady here who needs both hands to even fire the damn thing, so these staples keep going in halfway. I can't place one hand at the top. Going to go ice my wrists now, thanks yeahome brand for making me feel homicidal when I'm just trying to reupholster a fucking cat scratcher. Maybe if I buy 3 inch staples? Which, with my luck will go in halfway too, & end up blinding my cats. Oh well. Really wish, on the daily, I had a man's strength, which would make life so much easier from projects like this to hauling in groceries, mowing the lawn. I swear I'm not wimpy, am strong for my age & size, but sometimes I'm jealous of you men who can accomplish whatever you want without a second thought or asking for help. It's embarrassing. I watched the video. He neither stated nor inferred that women have "silly brains." He merely highlighted the fact that women, as a result of less size/strength, get frustrated (as anyone would) when the staple doesn't fully seat.
