@@josephroth2215 shrines are *not* a creature type unfortunately. You can absolutely call it shrine tribal because you can call anything tribal as long as that’s the aspect you’re building around though, hell, PJ from Commander Replay has a “tap creature tribal” deck where he just built around creatures with various activated abilities that require tapping them. Unfortunately, “shrine” Is not a type you’re allowed to name with things like urzas Incubator, cavern of souls, etc. shrine is *only* an *enchantment* subtype.
Good video today guys holly hell camron for smooth brain of the day but was a cool loop to see even though it was misplayed good job guys on the vid also better keep my streek going HAY CAMRON WHERE DID U GET THAT PLAYMAT 😂😂😂😂😂
Canoptic tomb sentinel doesn’t ETB if you cast it from the graveyard. When cast; it first goes to the stack then goes to the battlefield so this doesn’t synergize unless using a resurrection spell
@@jesterjackal6478 yeah if he used the unearth ability, the card never goes to the stack, only the unearth ability does. Then the card is out from the yard onto the battlefield, triggering etbs as normal. Now, if he had cast the spell from his gy then it would go to the stack then enter from the stack and not have its etb trigger at all because of the intervening if clause.
@@connorl0204 please check your statement before posting it. Entering the battlefield from a graveyard - that is, by any means - causes the ability to trigger.
@@caiopereira1289 According to the ruling "Activating a permanent card's unearth ability isn’t the same as casting it as a spell. The unearth ability is put on the stack, but the card is not. Seeing Zask on the channel is great, I'm glad Cameron played it! Also congrats to Cayden on a good win with some well timed interaction.
Go-Shintai, with my favourite creature type _____
I cant wait to build up ____ tribal
Great video anyways
Yes, shrines aren't a creature type. No, it does belong in the tribal deck video. Don't worry about it
I was just about to poke fun at that fact (i just started the video and expect to enjoy it regardless of the fact that shrines arent a creature type)
Shrines are a tribe. Cry about it.
Shrines are a creature type though so technically yes they are tribal

@@josephroth2215 they are not. They're an enchantment type like auras and sagas. Either way, they fill a function similar to a creature type
That's probably the longest I've seen a copper dragon stay on the battlefield

The ETB still works. It is in fact, still entering the battlefield(ETB) (Edit: also ETB’d from the GY like the card reads)
