I really think this Dior collection is geared to the East Asian market where a light wash of color is the current vogue. The look is very fresh and bloom on you.
The best review of the new Dior products I have watched, hands down. That cushion foundation and eye look is amazing Michele! Love the way you try to understand and explain the possible outcomes the brands maybe trying to achieve with their products. After all, there is a lot of effort from concept design to making the end product that is behind it! Unlike some youtubers who tend to dismiss off beauty products with no thought. I guess thats what makes YOU the benchmark, a cut above the rest!!!

Unfortunately I had to declutter this Dior cushion foundation because it was leaving weird dry patches on me while other areas completely separated. Broke my heart I couldn’t love it more

The Triple Bloom looks cooler and the other seems warmer on video.

I love the Forever Glow foundation. I have combo oily skin and wasn’t certain if it would work for me but it’s just lovely! I love these shades on you. So subtle and fresh! Very youthful!

Haha! The two trios, and two became one.
Interesting. I love Dior, they were the first "high end" line that I bought for myself (with my babysitting money - lol). There was a potted gloss that they discontinued a thousand years ago and I've never found an exact match to replace its color but I don't miss the fragrance! I read/heard somewhere that luxury beauty lines think they "must" put fragrance in their products. Supposedly their customers won't get the "luxury" feel without it. With the recent focus on ingredients and "clean" beauty, perhaps they'll reformulate. Anyway, it all looks good. I don't know why these two trios are so alike, although I do buy a lot of very similar colors.
Good Morning Michele🌞! Have you had the chance to try Dior’s Backstage foundation? This might be one for you to try if you have not. It has been a go to for me over the past year. I have skin similar to you, dry eczema prone. I do not like a heavy foundations. Backstage, like the Forever Dior concealer, I find I can use a little and build where needed. It doesn’t accentuate my fine lines or pores. I have enjoyed it! 👍🏼
You should try the YSL cushion foundation, there are 2, or more, kinds. But is was so beautiful, like perfect luminous skin. The only downfall was that I had bumps after wearing it, but I have sensetive/acne prone skin, but as an artist it was sooooo pretty on clients/model!

I like cushion foundations because they provide a natural finish. I probably will purchase one of these cushion foundations. Perhaps Nordstrom will carry these Dior products. Foundation is a product that I like to purchase in store because of the shade matching.
The colors remind me of an Etude House collection I bought last year. Those are sheer shadows too. I’m on a no buy this year and so far it’s been easy. The new collections are boring. 355 days to go though so I’m sure I’ll be tempted.

Hey Michele, I can’t wear any of the Forever liquid range, my skin is really dry and they all just look so cracked and powdery. In your opinion, is the cushion less likely to dry out on the face than the liquids? xxx
I really like the look in general and the eye look as well! I had seen other reviews on the palettes and they all trashed them, while they don't seem too bad to work with when you apply them. I agree that they really didn't need to make 2 that are basically the same. but if the theme is "glow", I think they deliver.

I don't know what's it like in the US, but I am looking at the dior foundation website in France where I currently live, and the shades only go up to 3N??!! (deeper ones are not sold out, they're not even offered). Unbelievable. I could choose for myself there from those 7(!) shades, but these days only having the light shades is just a shame.
I’m confused as to why the eyeshadow trios look SO similar. Honestly, it looks like that deepest shade could have just been added to the lighter palette as a quad.
Hi Michele- not interested in the foundation-but what a cute “cushy” container! I love the eyeshadows on you- I haven’t loved them on anyone else that I’ve seen demo them. I like and am learning to use a lighter hand with shadow application per watching you. I think, if done well, with quality shadows, the end result is so elegant and beautiful. i love the dior cushion, it’s been around in asia for several years and was released before the forever liquid version. this, and the TF cushion are my favourites in the cushion format. dior releases at least one limited edition case every year that usually matches their seasonal fashion line. a full face of dior products is one of my preferred brands to include in my gym washbag because everything applies perfectly & quickly which is fantastic for heading straight to the office after. the lipglow, dior addict lipstick & lipgloss as well as lip maximizer are also really good. basically, *everything* just lays beautifully with minimal effort ! 💗

Wow it’s amazing how your makeup & eyeshadow looked after 8-9 hours. The Dior cushion looks great and I love the packaging. And the eyeshadow looks beautiful on you even though many people said they had issues with the dark shade. And the lipstick goes perfectly with the look! 😊❤️

Have you tried the Glow version of the Dior Forever liquid foundation? It is heavily fragranced, but wondering how it compares to the compact and the original matte version.
Also, wish they expand their shade range. I find 3WO too deep but 2WO too light!
Does anyone know why it’s not available on Dior’s US website? Has it not launched in America yet?
The foundation is very impressive and long lasting but the trio eye pallets seem disappointing that they look too similar.
Mascara is my all time favorite that works great with my short lashes and no smudges.

I know you were not a fan of the blush balm, but I loved the barely there effect on you.
I thought that too, it was subtle and very pretty in a 'just a bit of a flush' kind of way.
Compare to Chanel ultra le teint cushion, which one do you prefer more?
I only got one of the trios (pure petals) so I cant say much about the other one. But the shadows stayed on my lids after 8+ hours and my lips were hydrated and soft.
Michelle, I find that most foundations that I try seem to sit ON the skin and look dry and blotchy... I also have dry skin... how do prep your skin to prevent this.. your makeup always looks great.. and recommendations would be appreciated so much... Thank You!

The cushion is not new... They do have yearly limited edition case every yr which is exclusive to Asia & Europe I believe. That's why I was so happy I got the one from this yr from Harrods eventho I had to pay $30 for shipping but it was worth it for me... I can use it for the mirror & buy the refill in my color... Tho I dnt really wear cushions... 😂😂

That foundation looks really great. I think I'm going to give Dior foundations another look. I was turned off of them years ago because at the time their formulations were SUPER visible and scented, and I just couldn't like them. This looks worse a re-visit.
Is the lipstick moisturizing or the blush stick that you applied before the lipstick thats so moisturizing? I'm glad they don't contain fragrance, i couldn't buy their lipglow because it smells minty and i hate that more than subtle fragrance.

Not usually a fan of cushion foundations, but I'm sorely tempted with this after your review. I don't understand their reasoning for the very similar 2 e/s trios in this new collection...an easy skip for me (for once).
Dior repackages their Forever Cushion pact every year but it’s meant for Asian markets, hence the limited shade option. Last year’s design was sold out quickly. It was called “Diormania” and it had the same canvas design as the Dior Book Tote. I bought one from a reseller from Thailand as a birthday gift for myself and it’s still one of my favorite makeup items.
I heard that Dior’s faux leather makeup compacts flake apart over time and hope that it’s not going to be the case for yours

I JUST received the Dior Forever Cushion from Selfridges (also in 2N). I applied it with the VB Cell Rejuvenating Priming Moisturizer and have to say I love it! Fantastic. I live in Marin and am outside all day and appreciate the SPF protection.

I am so intrigued about the Forever Dior cushion foundation. I bought the Dreamskin one after seeing your video and love it. I have ridiculously pale skin, and tend towards med to full coverage, yet like the idea of 'skin like' foundation. The spf is a bonus. The applicator in there is just awful, but sponge or brush worked great. It does build and am absolutely amazed at how it evens out and wears on the skin. I wonder if it will be available at other retailers soon?

Like others have said, the eye shadow trios look strikingly like blush/bronzer/highlighter 🤔 The flower imprint of the shadows makes me unexpectedly very happy, to the point where it's worth getting one just to look at 😂 I wonder if a goat hair brush might pick up a bit more shadow.

I wonder if it's because of our American woman aversion to the word "moist"? lol. Anyway, eagerly awaiting your thoughts on the Prestige cushion and low-key hoping you hate it since it's the pricier one by far!

The compact is interesting, especially as I will become "seductive" whilst wearing it, 😂. So I may buy it, although the back stage is my favourite Dior foundation.

You are the first person I have ever heard mention the scent of the old line of Dior lipsticks. The regular line was the one that bothered me...the smell, the taste...I had to throw them away! Never had any problem with the glosses or others. I am definitely picking up this one in hopes that I will one day be able to wear it without a mask! Its my color!
