Hi everyone! Here is an update on how things wore: the Foundation wore beautifully all day. The finish of the foundation was consistent all day. Two minor con's - 1) I felt like it sunk into one of my laugh lines a bit, and 2) my forehead felt a little dry after having it on for 9 hours. The blush and other powder products stayed vibrant all day and sat really well over the foundation and powder. And the waterproof eyeshadow stick was definitely waterproof. It didn't budge one bit. I had to let my makeup remover (Koh Gen Do Cleansing Spa Water) sit on the product for a bit before I could wipe it away.
I love the way the loose powder .ade your skin look more matte than usual....i love a matte look once in a while and it lools gorgeous on u ...just for a little change....becauae I know u really rather have the glowy finish...i love it like this too tho 💖💖
Top tip with the lip maximiser (and same way Peter Phillips does it) is to put that on at the start of your makeup routine and let it settle . Then later put any gloss or lipstick over at the end. Fantastic results! Also Mascara wise, the Pump "N" volume is a must have and my go to mascara. Its volumising but not too much . I prefer Length over volume as I find volumising Mascara's can look clumpy on me as I have small eyes but this one is stunning. Also great in a waterproof formula . I love Dior ....my god I sound like a sales rep for them !!
Finally got around to buying the concealer. I bought 2 shades: one in my actual skin tone and a lighter one to brighten my under eye area. Why did I wait so long? This is perfect for “no makeup, makeup” looks for my zoom work meetings! You got me looking at Dior and it’s been a minute since I’ve worn Dior. I have the Face/Body foundation and I like that one!
Not Dior related, but I just bought the Monte Carlo chrome eyeshadows from Chantecaille as my birthday splurge! I was eying it for ages, and your review convinced me - thanks Michelle! 😊
I'm actually really happy you used that Chikuhodo GSN brush to set your foundation. I was really debating on splurging on it, but your video gave me the opportunity to see the shape better than just a description online. Definitely more oval than I anticipated. You just saved me +$120!

Love it! Thanks. I was told the Dior blush you have reacts with the PH of your skin, at least the original formula did so they show up more than you think. Dior mascara has been my go to for years. The Iconic overcurl in both regular and waterproof for certain occasions. It drys without flaking. Feels soft yet keeps a curl the best of all I have tried. Adds length and fullness with no clumping. It doesn’t run and the regular is easy to remove. The brush is curved and has great bristles. Gets every lash.
I personally love the Dior Backstage foundation, but I understand your point of view : indeed, I have a combined/slightly oily skin and it works perfectly for me. But I do understand that for a more dry skin it wouldn't be ok, it's kinda of drying some areas... Btw you look absolutely gorgeous, everything just fits you perfectly !
That Dior foundation & blush is so gorgeous! The Lip Glows are some of most favorite tinted balms (I have backups of most of them) out there! You can intensify the color by really moisturizing your lips before application. I love how hydrating they are, so good for the summer!
I love the Dior Backstage foundation, wears so well on my skin. I have most of the products you tried. I might recommend you to try the Dior Forever Skin Glow foundation, which has a glowy finish and lasts all day :D Great video! I am eyeing the blush myself as well. :D

The one product I have from Dior is the original Dior show mascara and it’s one of my favorites! Definitely recommend it. They have a curl version too. I have a basket full of mascaras and I will still repurchase it
I am so excited for this. Years ago I was a diehard Dior user (except I used a Chanel base and concealer). And I use a lot of base products after your recommendation/use (Dior forever concealer, Sisley compact foundation, cle de peau concealer, koh gen do powder, Tom Ford glowy serum foundation), and can now almost always shade match myself based on your shade. i love the Diorshow mascara and I meant to pick up the waterproof, which I used to use religiously, but I haven't in ages and now am trying the new Hourglass plus a buck of minis to try as backups, But its super waterproof. When Dior says waterproof, they MEAN it. The Sisley eyemakeup remover is really great for Dior waterproof.

Dior has my favorite foundations and concealer. Foundations do tend to oxidize though, so I always go half shade lighter. And usually I don’t do powder all over with the foundations, t zone only is enough.
Excited for this video. I haven't tried much from Dior, but I do love their concealer thanks to your recommendation. I didn't like the Backstage Foundation either, it felt way too drying on my dry skin.
I'm a big fan of the Dior lip maximizers! They wear beautifully and fade evenly, which is always a bonus when you don't have an opportunity to reapply. I also like the Diorshow mascara but the rose scent is a bit much and unnecessary for the eye area.
I have a Rosy Coral blush, I received in one of my makeup subscriptions I don't even know which one it was. It's some off brand and it is the exact same color as that blush and gives the exact same effect. Every time I wear that blush someone says oh I love your cheeks. It gives me that sunkissed glow, with the radiance that is just to die for. And it's not glittery. When I run out of it I will be sad. But now I won't because that blush looks exactly like it. Oh my gosh I better take note.
I went through 2 bottles of this Dior forever foundation and I loved it. Such a gorgeous foundation. I'm now on the Dior backstage face and body foundation and I love that too. Sits perfectly on my skin.
Dior Forever Skinglow is luminous on my dry sensitive skin. I don’t use it every day as my skin is super sensitive with eczema also. The color options are great though, perfect match for my warm medium/tan tone. Their skincare products are lovely but they put too much perfume that doesn’t dissipate.
Dior Dreamskin cushion is my favourite foundation ever. I had a hard time finding refills a while back and panicked thinking it might have been discontinued so I bought 4 new compacts since it comes with 2 cushions.. It always makes my face feel so soft and I don’t know what I will do if it ever goes away. Love the look!
Yayyy love dior!!! Haven’t been disappointed with any of their products I’ve purchased~ except their mascara, as much as I love the effect, they all smudge on me... so sad...

I always get the same shade foundation/concealer as you. We are the exact same match and I have not been able to get a good match with Dior spray foundation. 200 is too dark and better if I have a tan. 100 is light but at least it is workable but some times looks too light
Joyce Lee I usually wear the same shade as Michelle too, I use the concealer in 2n but in the air flash I use number 104❤️ hope that helps! Try that shade maybe it’ll work for you too xo
Lovely look. I am getting into Dior and the Dior summer skin tint/foundation is one of my favourites. The powder looks lovely and I my have to try it. The concealer is my holy grail and works the best on my mature dry skin.
Absolutely beautiful. That blush is gorgeous 😍 .. I know you love a good brow gel, have you tried Dior's 'pump 'n' brow, gel' ? It's so dang good, and it has a decent shade range (on their website) only 3 on sephora. I think you'll love it! I will say the (pump) option is irrelevant and does nothing, but holy moly it's the best fiber brow gel and worth the $! 🧡

I like this foundation better than the skin glow - however for some reason it really emphasised the texture of my skin and larger pores - close up in natural light in the mirrors I aged +++ like wore leather 😱 on photo or phone it looked perfect

Hi Michele, Dior has some of the best skincare, in my opinion. I love their skincare much more than their makeup & have favorites in every line. I love Dior products and so happy you were doing a full face of Dior. Their blushes are beautiful and love their lip products as well especially the maximizer formula. You are correct the long wear lip tattoo formula is indeed long wearing and does not budge. It is also very matte. I like it but it is not for everyone. The Dior mascaras are nice and just got their mascara primer. Thank you again for a great review!
dior - I use their forever foundation, when I had a sample I liked the coverage it offered and tried to get the right colour match in store. think it blends in better with fingers rather than a beauty blender tho. Haven't tried using a makeup brush to apply yet. I once had a dior eyeshadow palette which was quite nice
The Backstage blushes adjust to your skin tone after you have applied so the colour in the pan isnt accurate. I have the pink colour and it looks bright in the pan but comes out beautitfully on the skin. They do the same job as the lip glow shades which deepen on your lips.

This foundation oxidyzed like crazy on me. It made me literally orange like a doritos. But the few times before ir started to do that, it was gorgeous, lasts all day, even under rain.
I had the same experience so I took it back and got a pinker shade than I’d normally wear. It didn’t work great. But before it changed on me, it was beautiful
@@jeanneyoung4210 yes, when applied is beautiful on the skin, too bad for changing the colour. I try it with whitening drops, but is not the same, is affecting the formula. So I am waiting to bronze on the face and maybe use it then😉😁😜

I love this foundation, but I dont set it, I think it was the powder that made your skin a bit more dry.

Dior foundations are my go to every day. The only liquid foundation I've actually used up and had to repurchase.

I like this foundation better than the skin glow - however for some reason it really emphasised the texture of my skin and larger pores - close up in natural light in the mirrors I aged +++ like wore leather 😱 on photo or phone it looked perfect

Dior has some of the best skincare, in my opinion. I love their skincare much more than their makeup & have favorites in every line. I love Dior products and so happy you were doing a full face of Dior. Their blushes are beautiful and love their lip products as well especially the maximizer formula. You are correct the long wear lip tattoo formula is indeed long wearing and does not budge. It is also very matte. I like it but it is not for everyone. The Dior mascaras are nice and just got their mascara primer. Thank you again for a great review!

dior - I use their forever foundation, when I had a sample I liked the coverage it offered and tried to get the right colour match in store. think it blends in better with fingers rather than a beauty blender tho. Haven't tried using a makeup brush to apply yet.

The Backstage blushes adjust to your skin tone after you have applied so the colour in the pan isnt accurate. I have the pink colour and it looks bright in the pan but comes out beautitfully on the skin. They do the same job as the lip glow shades which deepen on your lips.

Do try the lip tattos. They are very milky tint in oil thing. Not a longwear thing a lot.

This foundation oxidyzed like crazy on me. It made me literally orange like a doritos. But the few times before ir started to do that, it was gorgeous, lasts all day, even under rain.
Agree with this, I experienced the same thing with pumpkin skin result🎃🤔🙄
I had the same experience so I took it back and got a pinker shade than I’d normally wear. It didn’t work great. But before it changed on me, it was beautiful
@@jeanneyoung4210 yes, when applied is beautiful on the skin, too bad for changing the colour. I try it with whitening drops, but is not the same, is affecting the formula. So I am waiting to bronze on the face and maybe use it then😉😁😜
