I grew up with no rest and I became quite comfortable doing this. I couldn't use that level of English with the control he has but I also wouldn't even think about using the rest.
Its incredibly easy to do. Notice how the idiot swings the q around his back like a bellend to aquire the position. You can just bring the q to your left hand and grab the end of the q with your right. There is absolutely no point bringing it around your back, it takes longer, and makes you look like you're trying to show off.
LOL.. right! I was thinking damn, I knew I shoulda gone pro when I saw this vid then I saw your comment and was reminded.. Yeah we all did this as kids!!
@@mitchsmix269 its not difficult to do.. its like learning to juggle. At first you will drop the balls all the time. or in this case the cue ball with fly off the table all the time..

People who don't play pool are blown away by behind the back shots. The shot mechanics are almost exactly the same. You're still doing an elbow pendulum, you just feel a little stretch in the shoulder as well.
Aiming the shot is the hard part that's why he does it here because he still can put a good stroke playing behind the back and the shot is straight in so he doesn't have to worry about aim
I mean, the mechanics are the same, but I play and practice several hours per week, and wouldn’t feel comfortable on this shot. It’s as foreign to me as trying to shoot left handed. I actually see loads of new players try this, and find actual success potting, likely because their aim isn’t hugely better when actually down on the shot.
In simple terms yes, but because of that stretch it is VERY difficult to cue straight. Aiming is also tough because you can’t get low and parallel to the cue so you’re looking down. They’re very easy if you’re just playing a short gentle shot but not this kind of deep screw
I do this often because I can't take a shot with my left hand, kept telling my friends that it's a normal shot to do but they think I'm just showing off lmao
Django Bustamante usually do this in international tournaments before when the need arises. This is common for filipino players. In the Philippines top players give this as a handicap to lower players in money games in some part of the country. We call this technique as "Backhand".
He executed a pretty good shot. shooting behind the back is a bad idea. I have always played left handed. I teach students to become at least adequate with the opposite hand.
People are not impressed by behind the back, it's the spin and the position that's impressive. Everyone's like I can do it as well till it is a money game or tournament 😂
Every time a take a behind the back shot people think I'm trying to be flashy or show off. That's not it. I just can't shoot southpaw, and certain shots are easier this way.
That would've been a pretty easy shot with the bridge as well. Pretty aggressive behavior because the combo appear to be there as well. All in all extremely impressive especially the English to get the weave with the speed. Just amazing.
Ronnie O Sullivan made better on a snooker table with the opposite hand for a 147 guys. Btw, Ronnie doesn't have an opposite hand :D This is more shocking as well
Actually this is basic if you play pool..here in the philipines we call it backhand.. we are using this kind of shot as handicap..1player backhand and othet player play in normal shot..
Shocking technique known as "I can't play with the opposite hand".
That's why I do it. No lie
I can shoot pretty damn decent with my opposite hand. Tops not to bad but draw on the other hand takes some serious talent or practice lol
or use a rest
I literally never mean it to be fancy 😂 I simply cannot shoot the other way and I’m not using no bridge
if watch closely he has almost perfect form with a shot behind his back, why does he need to play with his opposite hand when he can do that lol.
I've seen him use the rest .. trust me, this was the safer option
I wonder if it’s because of draw specifically, controlling draw is the hardest to do with the rest
I grew up with no rest and I became quite comfortable doing this. I couldn't use that level of English with the control he has but I also wouldn't even think about using the rest.
why safer ?
Jesus, any kid who grew up with a 6ft snooker table at home did this. Incredible, my arse.

@@stephenmcneil4573 I don’t do this shot alot, but when I do, I guarantee you I can reproduce this shot easily. It’s just a close up draw shot.
The amazing thing about that shot was getting position on the 3 with that backshot...but i guess you don't see it

@@leedahye25Bro 💀

Efren would have done that left handed lol
The algorithm is nuts, right after reading this comment is see a short about effren Reyes hitting left handed
Efren would just bank the ball 4 rails

Yeah! Bro can play great with both hands, actually insane. A once in a generation talent! Absolutely incredible!!!

Wow what a shotttttttttt!!!!!!!!!!!

He doesn't play snooker.
People talkin bout switching hands but I feel like behind the back is way easier
This is the trademark shot of francisco django bustamante the best friend of efren bata reyes
I'm 40 now, I used to do that when I was 12! I failed at school cause I was addicted to it.
Efren and Busta were the creators of behind the back shot
Not true it was actually Mlk jr who did it first on record in 1966.
LOL. I doubt Efren Reyes can do that complicated shot.
Everyone can do this 😂 reminds me of playing in the pub when i was younger
django bustamante just smiling lol
Its hard to do normally!!!!! Need power to find the tangent line and draw. Pretty nice.
I play these shots quite often, when in this position, it ain't hard!
Django Bustamamte must have been proud by this shot from Albin!
1st trick shot we all learned when we was 12
The move every drunk gymbro tries to do at the bar and never hits lmao
Incredible shot by an incredible player.
lol Django Bustamante has been doing this since the 80's
I did that myself for a few years when i played back in 80's.its a creative way if your not able to switch hands
Mark Williams invented it so he didn’t have to use the rest. Far harder to do on a snooker table
Everyone knows Mark Williams is responsible for 99% of the techniques we use today.
Starting ❎Ending ✅💀☠️
That very natural here in the Philippines.. 😅

I thought this was a very common technique
I did it on my first ever game of pool
That was cute , very cute 🤣 . Tbh people always think I show off whenever I shoot like that but I just can’t switch hands .
Not a fan of behind the back, but you cant argue with that leave
If efren Reyes is in that situation. He can use his left hand to pocket.
Ở Việt Nam chúng tôi làm điều này thường xuyên
Oh that's why they call it back spin
Lol everyone here playing this shots since before
I'm thankful I'm ambidextrous.
American commentators used to call this filipino shots in the 80’s.
Even 6 year old can shoot like that
Great now more of the people at the bar that already cant shoot will try justify it even more seeing that Albin did it 😂😂😂
This is popularly knows as ‘Salman khan shot ‘ in India 🇮🇳
Didnt need the AI voice

This guy managed to screw back from behind his back but I struggle in general…
Im clearly not as good as i thought i was
Does anyone know what cues these players use? I'm looking for these black cues.
Rest was invented after this shot
I could do that years ago. But now that I'm 70 and fat as hell I will use the bridge.
Never needed to do this since I play ambidextrous 😭
Completed it many of times

Why? That was very reachable and he could also just have played it left-handed or with a rest.
Why is it always the 2-ball with albin lol
