I missed Zarude the first time around and have waited all the time for it to come back, only for it not be free this time. I would have played this event and even spend some money, but not this way. I am so annoyed at Niantic how they monetize go at the moment :/

Niantics prices often confuse me. Typically, in a game with a transaction like this, you'd probably expect ~$8 worth of items/coins + the event research, but instead - and again, its majority small, meaningless items you can get commonly from a daily bonus, leveled pokestop, gbl, etc. I'd gladly spend $8 if I was also getting, say; ~4 super incus, insense, rocket radars, maybe some adventure effects - something to enhance gameplay or the time played, right? Silver pinaps and rare candies are items, and dont enhance gameplay.
You can't enhance gameplay in pogo with payable tickets. You can do it with second account.

I know Kartana is considered better than Zarude, but it’s way more glassy. I’ll go with my Z every time. He’s tankier than many grass types. The dark typing helps

This is where top raid attackers lists fail in general or to a lot of people.
The typings (often secondary) can help or hinder, the opponents moves (pool) also matters.
Are we going for time or less deaths.
People are levelling up faster than ever, but stardust accumulation hasn’t increased to match (yes loads more bonuses - but level 50, more Pokémon and more features to spend on).
Can zar be weather boosted when cataching from research? for that boosted IV floor?

I wasn't going to buy the ticket, until I heard about the incense spawns. I'm traveling to Europe tomorrow so I'll definitely be bringing back a lot of red Flabébés for my friends back home! The Zarude is a bonus, hopefully I get a good one

Even if you don’t 50 max it’s still good as a grass type raid attacker. I just used regular rare candy to get mine to lvl 40.

it could be mega metagross and I wouldnt spend $8 on it. The only application of pay to win is to get remote passes if you live in the middle of nowhere.

Was sleeping till 4:30.then rushed after looking at time and got the very first bellsprout to be shiny then got 2 more in just 15-20 caught I was really lucky today 😂

I’m getting zarude because it’s too good to pass up on certain master teams. Only issue for me is I’ll need to spare some XL candies for my zygarde very soon when I finish the cells ☠️

Zarude is still shiny locked in the mainline games so no way pogo would get authority to release it. But the ticket could've utilized rocket radars or at least more incubators. They getting STINGY.
PoGo did get to release the shiny castform variants that aren't in the msg, so it's not impossible to happen, just extremely unlikely.

Extension Candy Tip:
Trade:
0-9.9km = 10% chance to get an XL from the trade
10-99.9km = 25%
Transfer:
lvl 1-14 = 2.7% to get an XL from transfering
15-19 = 13%
20-22 = 25%
--> This means pokemon from level 1 to 14 should always be traded for XL candy
--> If you can trade 10km but not 100km, then pokemon from level 1 to 22 are profitable to trade

Why would you Primal Evolve a Groudon for grass type spawns? Isn't that a ground/fire type???
primal groudon boosts candy for everything normally boosted in sunny weather, fire ground and grass. I think they wanted to make it more special to mimic the drought ability in mainline. primal kyogre does the same boosting everything from rainy weather, water electric and bug.

Skippin the Ticket. Already have best buddied, lv 40, 91% Zarude. And it's a beast! I would say totally worth it if you haven't gotten a Zarude yet. Also, you get 2 passes, so Zarude really only costs $6.

Daxi, the flabebe spawns are wrong. For the past events, only Red has been spwaning in India, while @ 0:25 it showa Blue spawns

it’s honestly personal preference.. that’s a really good Zarude and while you could get the hundo the chance of you getting a better one isn’t high, and it’s literally only one IV point difference for the attack.
14 is close enough to 15. If you'll actually use it for something power it up. You have a 96% IV, the chances of getting a 98% or 100% as well is pretty much zero lol

Will not pay $8 for a non-shiny Pokémon just for the fomo and the dex entry. If it was a guaranteed shiny, I would consider it. The fact it's not shiny eligible means Zarude will show up again.

This event seems ok. Zarude will probably never be released again so everyone should get it if they want the exclusive Pokemon. But on the other side of things it’s 8 bucks. Which many can’t afford and are actaully smart with there money. (Unlike me buying every single ticket)💀. What I’m trying to say is if you can afford it I would buy the ticket over any other coming up, but if you aren’t interested in Zarude or the extra rewards it’s not worth it. I’m personally buying it bc I can afford it.
