@@ModernSoldier why not dungeon gear is pretty cheap and only skill that matters in dungeons is combat
@@deafmole9974 Dungeon gear isn't the issue, it's that you THINK that combat is the only useful skill. Your survivability is going to be non-existant if you have all your other skills below 20, ideally you want to start dungeons with a skill average of 25+ with your combat being the PREDOMINANT skill. This doesn't mean that you should just rush combat and forget about everything else, because you'll die just as fast.

@@ModernSoldier I mean like 5 months ago I had like SA 20 I made around 1-1.5m per hour by doing f3 essence runs. Was a rly good money method, 40-50k per 3 minute run, just get in a call and do a marathon. Easiest way to get good gear

Btw Flower of truth dosent require any floor completion and is even cheaper than a warped aote so honestly i think its actaully better and you dont really need a livid dagger with a fot

Extra advice for farming: Cocoa beans are now the best for exp, I get a good 600k exp per hour from them

this is definitely one of, if not the most helpful video I’ve watched on the subject of early sb; i just love the presentation, production.
A lot of equipment is already with ultimate enchants, recomed or with stars on the ah. So instead of maxing items yourself, look into the auction often for a couple of days, and there is a good chance that you will get this way cheaper than if you did it yourself.
i strongly disagree about the warped aote thing. i used to main warped aote and it was really hard to do things like slayers and dungeons if u compare it to flower of truth, i just use flower of truth and aote for warping

I quit skyblock when f7 came and i am hoping this can get me back into it since it was really fun back then
yea because skyblock is just very grindy and sweaty, tbh i quit when floor 4 came out

Something that might be irrelevant now:
Warped aote is about the same price as fot & livid as far as i know, when you use one of these three then your hotbar wont be as full so you can choose what you want
Livid for: usefull anywhere, no need to reforge talismans for attack speed and crit chance
Fot for: ranged berserk weapon wich is kinda good for clearing, better than the other 2 and nice for syphon
Warped aote for:
More inventory space and no need to switch between aote and weapon
Also get your fairy souls early on, even though it is tedious literally 100% of the time, but it is worth it
Yup, totally agree, made a new profile a couple days ago and I actually bothered to get fairy souls early on and I got boosted for like 450 health to 950 health so ye, very recommended

Your mic is good, your videos are easy to understand, you are nice, you give new players tips on the game. Tbh I don't know why you don't have 30k+ subs.
I feel like nowadays, I would start dungeons as soon as you have combat 15.
You can just get carried in open parties for entrance and f1. Then you get something like rotten armour (which only is 20k for the full set). Then you play f2 for money, because it is insane money for earlygame because of scarfs studies.
Then you get one f3 carry (again open party, so free). Then you get fot and adaptive.
As soon as you have fot and full adaptive, you get free carrys until f5 (when you get level requirements). Start buying sa pieces, play f2 or f3 (f2 for money, f3 for exp). Then skip f4 and play f5 as soon as you can comfortably do that equipment wise.
Then as soon as you have the level again, you should have money for f6 carry or look until you find a free carry. F6 is a big difficulty jump, so you will have to pour millions in equipment before running that.
But you can get that from f5. At this level, get ultimate enchants, recom your most important pieces that you plan to use for a long time.
Pay for a f7 carry, and make stonks with f7. Oh and only run f7 with at least 35m in your bank. If you can't afford to open a chest with a handle, that will be such a bummer.
I have done nearly only dungeons and collecting minions for a while and I never had to put money into dungeons. I started with enderarmor and an aote and now I have over 100m networth, without even having done f7 runs, because I just got my equipment. So nowadays enzering dungeons early can be really nice.
Warped AOTE is fine but I’d definitely recommend everyone to get rid of it once you reach a later stage of the game. Shadow Fury is a pretty good sword but it’s pretty expensive too, so honestly even a livid dagger (like 9m) is probably fine because it’ll help with slayers a lot
Don’t get rid of it, still one of most useful swords in the game, even for super late game.
@@DragonSlayer-yt8ti it deals good damage, but you don’t need the damage for anything really. For dungeons the flower of truth is better, and the livid dagger is also very good as it basically has double life steal after the new changes

The flower of truth is probably just as good as a warped aote and also cheaper it also does not require a f6 clear to use so it’s probably a better option for newer players as you can buy a normal aote for the teleport ability and maybe even put some level of ult wise on it with the leftover money.
Yeah I was unaware of a catacombs requirement on the FoT, I assumed it would be the same for all those dungeon weapons. If there is a combat skill requirement however, then you won't be able to use it until later

Sounds like your skills are incredibly low, and you lack talismans as well. With that exact same gear I do upwards of 300k a hit.
You probably didn't use any buffs did you? Also get a combat pet too.

I mainly just do dungeons, in mid game and that's the thing I enjoy doing most in skyblock, so that's what I do the most.

When I got like 2 mil last week I went out and bought pretty much every pet that gave Exp boost pets so that I can start farming skills and I’m saving to buy the highest tier exp boost item for them

As a higher lvl player I can confirm this is pretty correct
my advice is: get shadow assassin, fot, baby yeti, you’re set for floor 6, then save up for bonemerangs, once you have 3 or 4 become archer, then upgrade your gear to necron, then save up around 150m and sell it all for a mage setup, that’s what I did
clean prices:
livid dagger: 9m
fot: 8m
warped aote: 9m
with livid dagger and fot u have the ability to upgrade them in the future by 5 starring em, also fot is better than both.
btw, for outside dungeons if ur not using wolf/tara pet and are going for pure dmg, werewolf with tiger is better than necron, and if u are using tara/wolf pet then use sa boots and leggings, skele master cp and tara helm(or mender's fedora when in dungeons)
Maxed fot is about 18mil

Livid dagger is cheaper than warped aote and is easy to get if you have a few mil to spend on wise drag armour and a bonzo staff to start with mage. I agree with you in the sense that dungeons is a mid game thing, but can be great for zealots and money to fund skills.

just a quick side note from a shadow fury enthusiast, a good alternative to the warped aote where you do more damage and have strength to be compatible with yeti i present to you..

Okay so for other people, his opinion of warped aote is better is true but the point of FOT is for clearing, thats why i bought it

i mean, this guide doesnt affect me much at all but
the points you make just confuse me, especially the dungeons ones
1.) Idk what tf you are on but dungeons is great to get into, at any stage of the game as there are money floors for each stage of the game,
and you dont need too much in the way of skills for the first money floor
Floor 2
Floor 2 makes a decent amount of money, maybe not so much in comparison to other things, but you need to start somewhere and f2 gives decent money and gives you some cata xp to start with
then you go to f4, f4 makes racks of money, spirit bones are incredible as they are common and good profit and decent cata xp
then you eventually go to f7 which prob isnt close to where people who watch the guide will go to soon
2.) Skills is important, but ive found that you dont need too much to start ghost grinding (maybe FoT and sa?) and bestiary levels your combat so goddamn fast its ridiculous
3.) Wtf you mean Warped aote is worth it? FoT costs 8.2m at current prices (not buying frags, which makes it cheaper) and a carry is 600k from skyblock maniacs (formerly known as Dungeon Maniacs) which is both cheaper and better for damage than a warped aote, also you dont need inv space when you are a berserker (which this guide seems to be targeted towards)
4.) 3/4 SA is great considering its less than 10m, taran armor kinda sucks for dungeons and outside compared to sa (and this is coming from a former tarantula armor main back when it was good)
5.) Pet score is great an all, but if you are tight on a budget you can just buy the main useful pets for skills and dungeons and buy more later on when you have cash from dungeons or farming or whatever
Best pets imo: Dolphin (Might be expensive but its incredible), Elephant (Jacobs and farming xp/money), Guardian Pet, Rabbito (If you too broke for ele or you just want xp like me), Sheeple, Silverfish, wither skele, wolf, squid (idk if anyone fishes earlygame but ye) Old Granny Wolf, Tiger (For thorn in earlygame) , Hound (Fishing go brr), Baby Yeti/Whale (Expensive but worth)
6.) This is getting long but this is the final point: I wish i had good spending habits but the perk is about being flippant about spending in sb is that you eventually get all the useful things i.e. pets, giants sword, necron blades, bones (ig now warden helm and axe of the shredded), recombed talismans, max sets for everything and you get my point

I agree. That was what I was thinking the whole video.
Ok I'm going to address these points in some paragraphs as well so bare with me:
- I never said dungeons was bad, I'm simply saying that you should focus on your out of dungeons profile BEFORE you transition into dungeons. Dungeons is an entirely separate thing to the rest of Skyblock and requires different gear, knowledge and understanding. If you walk into dungeons with a skill average of 30+ and are combat 30 with foraging 30, you'll be much better off than someone who walks into dungeons with a skill average of 23 and combat 20.
- Your points regarding starting at floor 2 and working up is EXACTLY what you should be doing. However you've gotten really ahead of yourself here and forgotten that you need to have some decent skills BEFORE you even touch catacombs. Levelling up catacombs skill is CRUCIAL, but so is everything else. Like I said in my first point, you can't start doing f2, f4, etc until you have worked your out of dungeons profile first.
- Skills are very important. While you don't exactly "need much" to do anything, that argument can't be applied to this because you can essentially say that for anything else. What I'm trying to say is sure, you only need a FoT and some sa to do some ghost grinding, but you also "only need some sugar cane" to level up alchemy, you "only need speed and a treecap" for foraging, and you "only need diver's and a RoL for fishing. Ultimately, while you "only need" specific gear for specific things, it's important to work on everything equally and progress your out of dungeons profile before you start buying dungeon gear because rushing through like this just doesn't make sense. After all, the game was never intended to be completed with carries.
- As for my Warped AOTE point, this is really personal preference. The damage of a Warped AOTE is equal to that of a FoT if not slightly stronger (this all depends on your skills either way), so ultimately you work with what you want. I wasn't aware of there not being a catacombs requirement on the FoT, but I am 100% certain of there being no COMBAT OR CATACOMBS requirements for a Warped AOTE, which makes it a great option. Honestly an AOTD can still get you by for a lot of things, though a warped aote will last longer considering it is a little more expensive. However yes, a FoT is still a great option (assuming that there isn't a combat requirement either), so I can agree with you on this.
- For your pet score point, this is exactly what I was saying. Buy the essentials first, and then you can gradually work towards buying more and more pets to build up your pet score, not just buy them all before other gear. I put pets towards the end of the video as they aren't really that useful, so I feel like this was just a misunderstanding.
Appreciate the comment my guy, I feel like discussion is key for these videos because that's ultimately what I push for. What I say is NOT always going to be correct, everybody has their own opinions and will play the game differently. That being said, it's important to consider different perspectives and ultimately come up with solutions to cater YOUR needs, not everybody equally.
@@ModernSoldier Alright fair. Seems like somewhat of a misunderstanding on all parts, it the only thing I disagree with is the importance of skills, at least for the time it takes to acquire them. For example, you could get from foraging 20-24 in maybe 10 hours, or get two common talismans in 30min that gives the same amount of strength. I guess I am making a bank-for-your buck argument.
@@santi_z48 You seem to be someone who wants to progress with the bare minimum and do everything quickly while this video is more well-rounded and prepares you for the late game too. Both fair points of view, exactly what I mentioned in the disclaimer at the start of the video :)

Personally, I wouldn't recommend doing too many skills. Definitely do experiments and occasionally grind bestiary milestones for combat exp, but your damage will only raise by 50-100 per foraging level, but combat levels will help a bit. It isn't worth it to spend hundreds of hours of time you could be grinding money to level foraging or other less important skills. Rather, I'd recommend grinding money, and skills will come with that.
However, yes, minions are VERY important. Those should be focused ASAP.

I think the gist of this video isn't that you're wasting money if you upgrade your gear, but more so to think more in the long term than the short term. Gradually work towards things instead of spending all your money on one thing that'll only help you in one area.
Most definitely. I would never prioritise gear either, buy things that will get you by but not super expensive stuff

I mean flower of truth with aote is really nice, I'm early late game never bought a carry. I bought a Flower of truth when on floor 3 and that with warped aote has got me to floor 5 and to level 6 slayers of zombie, spider and wolfs.

I wanted to say my opinion about weapons to go for. I think fot or livid is actually better than warped aote. I have friend who has all of those and he says both livid dagger and fot deal more dmg than warped aote also even including carries both fot and livid dagger are cheaper than warped aote. Ye u can economy 1 slot but is it worth it? U get less dmg don’t get attack speed of livid dag or throw of fot and also pay more
yeah warped aote. not worth it fot and livid dagger are much better and just not touching dungeon gear is not a good idea alot of dungeon items are good outside of dungeons

I would suggest max minions bc i do like 2m every day and thats very good if you Are a midgame Player. For the Other Profile getting More minion slots (i suggest 25-27 bc you can just buy the materials at bazar and its cheap) is good too
Isn't FOT cheaper than Warped AOTE and doesn't require carries.

Hi, i just wanted to ask if i should buy a warped aote or a fot since a friend of mine carried me for free up to f6. I personally dont know since aote can teleport but fot deals more dmg, then again i dont really need the damage.

You don’t really need super high skills other than combat for dungeons from my personal experience
I highly disagree. I was a catacombs 13 running f5 (unheard of nowadays) but had a skill avg of 32. If it weren't for this, I'd have never been able to do it.
I'm pretty sure the minimal stat boosts you get from skills won't help that much in dungeons, stuff like foraging only gives +3 strength per level and it's way more efficient to increase cata level instead
I have a skill average of thirty and I can solo f6 I dont think that it's all that important and the only reason it's that high is enchanting

I have the best co-op ever. His goal was to unlock every minion to t11, and within a week we had all the minion slots, and we make like 1-2 mil a day off of minions now

Money making method: In any of the fishing collect (especially armour and tailmens) craft items and them put them on ah
Ex: Salmon armor cost less then 10k to make and sells for any thing from 50k-150k :)
