I’m glad you came out with the Lite version. Over the past year and a half I bought the regular vector twice, and had to give it up both times due to nicks and irritation. I bought the Lite opening day and it was amazing and my new go-to razor. I think maybe people like me that shave daily need something milder and find the regular vector too aggressive for daily use, whereas those that shave every other/third day need the “efficiency” of the regular vector.
Hey! Thank you for your products, in particular Blackbird! But I have a question. The characteristics of the product indicate that it is stainless steel, but why then does rust appear on the razor after some time of use and careful care? Why does this happen? And have you thought about using a different metal to avoid this problem? Thank you
@@RonnieYates Yes! I remove the blade immediately and immediately wipe the razor. But I'm not the only one with a problem. my friend has the same problem. I also saw comments from other users with a similar problem.
It came to my mind that perhaps there are many users like to shave at the "neutral angle" i.e. trying to keep top cap and safety bar both on skin, so they feel different aggression of each blade, while I tend to always ride the cap so I don't feel that much of difference; and I see some people on the internet insist on shaving steep, not considering razors may have clamped blades at different angles related to the handle ...
That’s interesting , the regular vector is extremely mild to me. If I have like 3 days or more of growth it’s a no go . I have always considered it a daily driver.
Amazing shave! The design is really something remarkable. I love the weight and the feel of the polished stainless steel. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a step up in their shaving experience and have grown bored / disillusioned with wet shaving with a sensitive face. I was looking for a smooth and comfortable shave and I didn't know that artist club blades existed until I started doing some research. Goodbye double edge Gillete Platinum blades and my German safety razor and my automatic shaver... I've always wanted to love shaving and I think I'm finally there with the Vector Lite. Now to get all my friends on the bandwagon which ticks all my boxes: sustainable, all metal, polished finished, OEM stand, multiple head options, U.S.A. San Diego based company (best coast), multiple blade choices. Other single edge blade systems that have come out recently all looked really chintzy to me - the Vector Lite is the razor my son is going to ask about in my collection because it looks like it'll actually last that long.

This is good to know. 👌
I was always under the impression that the Vector couldn't use guarded blades.
Glad to hear that! The Vector indeed takes guarded blades.
I cut my face up a bunch with the Vector until I thought of trying the Feather Pro instead of the Pro Super. Now it is my everyday shave.
Great to hear! For most users, the pro is the way to go!

I've used my Blackland Vector lite numerous times now. It's my top razor. I really enjoy the Feather Professional Blades in it.

Just checking - you take the blade out immediately after each use?

We’re not aware of any issue involving rust. Please email support@blacklandrazors.com if you believe your Blackbird is defective in any way.
I own the vector titanium is there anyway I could get that lite base plate in titanium?
We’re hoping to make that available this year or early next. We’ll announce it as soon as it’s ready!

I just bought a Vector Lite with the Feather ProGuard Artist Club Blades and the stand (all polished), I’m excited to use the product.
We can’t wait to hear what you think of the new Vector Lite!

Good reasoning and addition to the stable. The reg vector was a bit too much for me.
I'm glad the Lite is a better fit! Thanks for your feedback.
