Middle East Eye spoke with attorney Jinan Chehade in Bridgeview, Illinois, also known as Little Palestine, about how her community has grieved, mourned, bonded and politically awoken amid US support for Israel’s war on Gaza, and why she is advocating against voting for “the lesser of two evils” in the lead up to the 2024 US presidential election.
