Cooking requires a minimal amount of ingredients. No oven. Even an inexperienced hostess can handle it.

I'm annoyed by all these "ready in 5 minutes" recipes. I haven't found one where that is true yet. Here the prep time is at least 15 minutes. And yes, then refrigeration to set. The title is meaningless.

I made this..... first time turned out very well! My chocolate topping was a bit too thick but ok. It's like a deluxe cheesecake. The whipped cream is soooooooo good. And yes, it's got to be high in calories but we all can enjoy a luscious treat here and there..... in moderation! Don't deny yourself something this good...... just don't eat the whole thing at one time!

What you can do is get a regular delicious cheesecake recipe which is step 1, instead of Baking it in the oven, do as follows: follow the recipe for the cheesecake but instead of baking it in the oven, simply cook all the ingredients including eggs in a double boiler stirring vigorously for about 10 to 15 minutes over a medium height until it starts bubbling. Get your pie shell of graham cracker crust and strain the battter by using a strainer right into the pie dish. Let it get to room temperature and put it in refrigerator with a piece of Saran wrap over it and the next day you'll have delicious cheesecake.
