If you still want it, I can translate it for you :)
Masterpiece. João Gilberto can make the most complex music sound like the most simple sound. Like a note that just shocks your brain with some weird sensation, "desafinado" challenges the melodic patterns that you may expect coming from any bossa nova song. Yet, there's something about this track... it invades the security of your ears, unleashing notes that shouldn't be together, and yet, are. Soulful, warm, beautiful... João Gilberto, what a genius.
The world has much to learn from Brazil, especially Tom Jobim and Joao Gilberto. This music will never get old.
Que coisa absurdamente maravilhosa ;3
My true hero. This very video changed my life. Will always remember.
Nasci no momento errado.
The syncopation of both hands-on the guitar along with the singing it's what makes Bossanova a complex music art form.. Amazing..RIP Joao G
QUANTAS SAUDADES ESSA CANÇÃO ME TRAZ... JOÃO GILBERTO, QUE O PAPAI DO CÉU RECEBA VC É O QUE MUITO DESEJO.
Brilliant. The story and character is so excellently conveyed through both guitar and vocals and the slightly "out of tune" composition is simply a work of genius.
LEER QUE YA MURIO ME ARRANCO UNAS LAGRIMAS, ME ENCANTA SU VOZ... DESCANSE EN PAZ GENIO, SALUDOS DESDE MEXICO!
Portuguese is more lyrical than the french language. My professor is a liar ;).
+sega the power of vulgar latin xD
+sega certainement!
+sega Well, all romance languages are unique and beautiful. Spanish is a gorgeous language, I mean, listen the music of Violeta Parra, she have songs that are complex in rhythm (irregular time signatures) and a natural metric in her poetic lyrics.
+sega French is pretty hard to translate in music. Portuguese is smoother. But there are quite different, not gonna determine the superioty of one language on another.
Haha
still marvelous....50 years of listening.....grateful
