I think for a Let's play they should spawn in a newly created world and their goal is to build as nice a house as they can together within the span of an hour. The catch is: they aren't aloud to communicate to each other about what they're doing or why. So the house is just going to be a bunch of their ideas cluttered together. It'll either turn out really nice or . . . . .really weird.
Good idea, won't make for a good video though as it will all be individual commentaries, what makes this channel so good is when they collaborate.

While some people have favorite episodes for best moments, this one has the best conversations. Between Michael "doing words good in school," "London old people," and "shagging a singing Griffin."

People may hate on Jack, and yeah, he does complain too much sometimes, but my money is on him for being the easiest of the Achievement Hunters to be around.

Actually it isn't sarcasm, I was genuinely amazed at how good this looks and how smooth it's running in comparison to the older Minecraft videos from the 360 and prior to UA-cam allowing 60fps.

Well, modern plumbing is in itself a marvel, think about the expansive network of pipes to carry fresh, clean water and the dirty used water, and the plumbing exportise needed to keep said pipes from constantly bursting or figuring out how to move this water though buildings that are several stories tall.
That toilet you take your shits on is the product of years of human ingenuity and progress to allow for the safe transportation of biowaste away from population centers to keep people healthier. I mean damn, pretty much everything is amazing once you think about it, and the work need to create it, both natural or through human efforts.

This is why I want more people to play with online. Everyone's drinking and everyone's talking about whatever the fuck comes to mind and everyone gets at least a cheap laugh out of it.
I'm fine with this. I rather like their Let's Plays where they're just wanting to get something done and not competing or trying to kill each other or whatever. The three parters "Geoff's House," "The End," and "Quest for Horses" are some of the best episodes to watch. They're great.

while these are nice, I honestly wouldn't be able to watch them if they just played minecraft every friday. Them building games inside minecraft is interesting and a nice refreshing twist in the world of Minecraft LPs.
projackX Oh yeah, I totally agree. It just seems some of their best dialogue comes from these Minecraft let's plays.
They should try some of the adventure/survival maps/mods on PC and two or three of them per map. I think they would have a bunch of fun, especially depending on the people who would be doing the map, like Ray, Ryan, and Jack doing something like the Skyblock challenge or whatever it's called.
this episode almost felt nostalgic to me. while i do enjoy some of their episodes playing "games" in AC, i definitely prefer when they kick back with a drink &... well, actually play minecraft. it feels more real, i get that this is their """job""" but its definitely more fun to watch when its bros chillin crackin jokes & having fun.

Jack seemed to talk a lot more and had a lot of energy this let's play, I loved it! Also, really happy to see them redo this lets play, it's one of my favorite ones! Great idea on their part!
Jack always seems to be more energetic during Lets Plays like this, and I think it's because he's not necessarily good at video games. He can't really compete with Michael and Ray and Ryan, and it must be frustrating. He's good at designing things, though, so when he gets to use his "particular skills," it must feel refreshing to be better at something than the others. I like Jack.

I think Jack's pretty good at games, though. He's just really bad at shooters, and admits it. He's always doing well in challenges unrelated to shooting, but games nowadays are so shooter-oriented I'd imagine it can get pretty old. I agree that he has some really good designer skills, though. Plus I think it's just fun to play Minecraft however you like while working towards a specific goal, for once. Too many rules and restrictions nowadays, not enough outside-the-box thinking.

No... this is not the case.. The comment to end all comments of the same type and content: UA-cam video quality takes a little while to fully render the highest quality, either watch it and do NOT make a comment on the quality, because you are at fault for watching it so soon after upload, or wait until it renders the higher quality video to watch.. Either watch at low quality and enjoy, or wait and watch.
Or even better! Sub to the Roosterteeth site, and watch them in the highest quality even before they upload to UA-cam.
If you failed to read this, TL;DR Don't whine and complain about video quality, either watch on the RT site, watch in low quality or come back later.

It's almost sad. Then I come to realize, after the fact, that the only people who are commenting about "Muh Quality...eff-this, eff-that, Video sucks!"" are either in school(if you don't get the Actual meaning of that...ugh), trolling, or just attention whores. I for one liked this video, because, yes, it was an achievement they have completed previously, but it IS new content, new conversations, new laughs, etc. from my favorite content creators. keep up the great work you guys!

To be fair, the Let's Play channel is probably the only channel that i'm subscribed to that takes that long for it to be uploaded. I don't know if it has to do with the way they upload the videos or their rendering process or something.
It has to be the fact that they are uploading 1080p videos instead of every other youtuber uploading just 720p or lower. 1080p videos take a long time to upload, so it upload a crap quality video 122/240/360, then when it renders the higher quality, it enables the 720 and 1080p buttons to be clicked for quality.
I am pretty new to AH in general, and up to this point I thought Griffon was his daughter. I was sorely mistaken.

Waffle recipe.
Ingredients
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup whole-wheat flour
4 tsp baking powder
1 tbsp granulated sugar
1/4 tsp salt
2 eggs
2 cups milk
1/2 cup butter, melted
Instructions
PREHEAT waffle iron.
WHISK all-purpose flour with whole-wheat flour, baking powder, sugar and salt in a large bowl.
WHISK eggs and milk in a medium bowl. Add flour to mixture while stirring, until almost combined.
STIR in 1/2 cup melted butter until smooth. Be careful not to over mix. Ladle mixture into waffle iron and cook according to manufacturer’s directions.
SERVE immediately or keep warm in 200F oven.

As a Let's Play idea, what if they each had 20 minutes to collect as many resources as possible to build a house. After the 20 minutes they each had a plot of land to start building there own house; however, after every 5 minutes they had to rotate clockwise one plot. They would then have another 5 minutes to add to each of the other 5 house plots until they got back to their own plot. The person who originally started with the plot who has the best house at the end wins. (Obviously the houses will be crazy and all over the place).
Title could be Grand Designs, or Hot Property. What do you think?

Everyone is talking about the resolution... What about the abrupt cut?! Seriously, there was no need for this to end as soon as it did, other than them wanting to stretch this out for as long as possible. And before anyone says "UH FREE CONTENT" I don't give a fuck, CartoonNetwork shows one hundred percent of an episode one hundred percent of the time, unless it's reasonably two parts.
Also, I enjoy Rooster Teeth and love Achievement Hunter, longtime fan, but seriously. They're doing what the YogsCast does and abruptly end their episodes just to stretch it out longer.
It might depend on the length of the second part. They're not gonna cut the first video 60 minutes in if they only have 15 or 20 minutes left on the second part.

On a rail is going to take some time they haven't even laid down any rail yet so it maybe is a three parter
Cartoon Network also (far more often than not) has 20ish minute episodes, and the remainder of time is commercials.
This episode of Let's Play is almost twice as long as an episode from a Cartoon Network show, with (for most, at least) around 2-3 minutes of ads at most.
Also Cartoon Network isn't 'free content'. You pay for some sort of cable/network/dish to get access to channels, one of them being Cartoon Network, and then they have a deal with whatever network/cable/dish company you use to run their channels on it, and then they make their other money by running the ads on commercial breaks. Their content is certainly not free.
However AH/RT does NOT have to pay to be on UA-cam nor do they have to pay to be on the internet, instead THEY are getting paid on UA-cam and whatnot as well as selling optional merchandise and then producing free content to you.
Anyone with internet can see the content that AH/RT put out on youtube or their website, however not everyone who pays for cable/dish/network gets access to Cartoon Network and all its content.

The Let's Play-ers have to race to be the first to get two cows, sheep, pigs, chickens, wolves, and ocelots, take them across the bridge, and herd them into pens designated for each Let's Play-ers wins. The twist: since Noah's Ark relates to a flood, if any animals fall into the water at any point, they are "dead" and the person has to go back to get another one.
This is my favorite Minecraft Let's Play right now, I hope y'all do more of these type in addition to the other ones too. ^_^
