This might be considered a spoiler... At 39:55, Ryan next to shoot. He shot the pillar Gavin was on AKA the 4th pillar from the left. Then at 39:57 you could see that the arrow that hit Gavin bounced off and landed on the yellow wool on the ground right in front of Gavin. And when your invisible, you can still be physically hit but you are invincible. For example, you still catch on fire and arrows bounce off you. So basically Ryan already won but Gavin was too stupid to notice.
Mewtwo's Destiny When an arrow goes through sugarcane, it goes right through it. And since the arrow bounced and hit the ground. The only logical reason is that Ryan shot Gavin. Plus if he shot the pillar, it would've been stuck in it.
Ray didn't hit Gavin, he shot at the 5th one not the 4th and Ryan correctly guessed where Gavin was but he just hit the pillar. Ryan had it and threw it away. Well I only brought this up because I haven't seen anyone else say it. Now I know they don't care about how strict rules and stuff are but I just wanted to share an observation. Rewatching this after 4 years and this is probably still my favorite installment in the King series after Mad King Ryan. Gavin definitely had some fresh and creative ideas for this. He is the Creative Director for a reason. I hope he can do it again soon.
I like the idea of everytime they need to line up or go in an order in future lets plays that they use "order of kings" when everything connects and works out together in movies or tv shows and even lets plays it seems, it just seems awesome.

Peter Farrell Gavin tends to act like a complete idiot when competing. Also, he quite often stops trying to win and just tries to screw with everyone else and tends to fail. On the other hand, the only hiccups Gavin has had as King were forgetting the gold blocks and not realizing that he couldn't be hit when invisible. So Gavin is both an idiot, and not at the same time

It was nice but it's actually very easy to accomplish. I acquired Vegas Pro not long ago and you can very easily layer videos like that and just focus on one part and put them atop another video playing in the background. It's tedious as fuck but simple.

It was a miscommunication. When Gavin said 'Fourth from the left', Ray interpreted it as fourth from the left pillar, rather than the left side.

Alright so not only did Ray, during the shoot invisible Gavin challenge, not shoot the 4th from the left, but the 5th from the left. But, the only person who actually shot at Gavin's podium, was Ryan, when he fucked up his shot.

Ray. Balon Greyjoy. More set on winning than long term ruling. Lets pride stop him from using things that could make his mission easier.
Jack Danerys Targaryan: Would be a good ruler if they could actually get on the throne.

So many things make this episode legendary. First all of Gavins awesome challenges, to the fact that he forgot the gold blocks and had to disassemble the throme to the fact it went to a 4 way tie to ensure maximum destruction of the throne

Rewatching this after 4 years and this is probably still my favorite installment in the King series after Mad King Ryan. Gavin definitely had some fresh and creative ideas for this. He is the Creative Director for a reason. I hope he can do it again soon.

I like the idea of everytime they need to line up or go in an order in future lets plays that they use "order of kings" when everything connects and works out together in movies or tv shows and even lets plays it seems, it just seems awesome.

And he also has him crushed by Edgar and then he blames Michael who runs away joins Burnie and Gus eating bugs together and then Lindsey finds him to convince him to be king he then denies it thinking he killed Gavin but the wise and odd Ray convinces him to change his mind and together with Lindsey, Ray, Burnie and Gus unite the oppressed staff and overthrow Ryan and is betrayed by Edgar who then eats him alive Michael watching this feels nothing but pity and continues up to the roof of the office and lets out a mighty rower with the voice of Gavin telling him to "remember who you are"

Don't know why so many are bothering bringing up the fact Ray got a block by accident. Do they care that we noticed? No. Do they care that some of us give a shit? No. Do they ever care when something goes wrong? Not a bit. So why bother, we just get ignored and get the obligatory "Doesn't matter, it's all for the comedy anyway" line. I guess where-as all of their other LP's are just LP's for fun, they miss the fact a lot of their fan base enjoys Minecraft BECAUSE of the competitive nature. Peter Farrell Gavin tends to act like a complete idiot when competing. Also, he quite often stops trying to win and just tries to screw with everyone else and tends to fail. On the other hand, the only hiccups Gavin has had as King were forgetting the gold blocks and not realizing that he couldn't be hit when invisible. So Gavin is both an idiot, and not at the same time

It was nice but it's actually very easy to accomplish. I acquired Vegas Pro not long ago and you can very easily layer videos like that and just focus on one part and put them atop another video playing in the background. It's tedious as fuck but simple.
These were actually well thought out and clever challenges. Unfortunately, the qualities of these challenges leads me to believe that Gavin's parents helped him with them. Look, I'm not mad. A lot of parents end up going too far when helping their kids with their homework, so just tell me. I'll get you a makeup assignment, and I want YOU to do it. Not your mom and dad.
