- A new Dragon Ball Tenkaichi is on its way, so I've been going through some of the hardest challenges in Tenkaichi. Reliving the fight against an army of Metal Coolers is definitely one of the most unbeatable challenges I can recall.

Goku vs the infinite Metal Cooler models.... classic.
Probably one of the best movies choreographies too, and that was years before, for example, Janemba's movie.
The big gete star enabled me to cheat death, how could this be!?

This mode really made ssj feel like a significant power up.
Future Gohan and Mid era Goku did a lot to make Super Saiyan (going into it as normal too) great and meaningful

What I loved the "Give Your Energy" thing is that if you're lucky, you'll see the Spirit Bomb in the background getting bigger like in Tenkaichi 2 and 3.
Also, Meta Cooler can sense you no matter where you are. Like the Scouter.😅
That was cool and I loved clashing with it.

@@GhostHyperhex Now that you mentioned it, I think it was only in Tenkaichi 2. Because Goku would teleport to the Spirit Bomb then throw it.

Helpful Tip: Dont charge ki underwater.
Characters charge up ki slower underwater (except for namekians)
Use non-breakable walls or cliffs to charge up.
If you have character with after image strike, activate it when u have nearly full ki so you can immediately active the skill and shake off ki sickness
Saibamen also charge faster underwater!
And androids don't charge slower underwater!
I really like this detail Because if I remember correctly master roshi thought Goku and krillen to control there ki in og db
I think it was about how using ki it's harder to do in water

It messes with their ki flow or ki thought or whatever it is.
This doesn't affect saibamen or androids because they're plants or metal.

Fun fact: That fully charged stun punch to the stomach last long enough for you to get "Share Your Energy With Me" off
I'd rather knock someone away when doing that, but it works i guess😅 I usually make casual 80+ hit combo's on Very Strong CPU, wich is possible because of the ability to pick up an opponent and toss them away😂
The greatest, most impossible challenge just became a lot more cooler… and funnier

Bruh. I love the fact that you have to use strategies in this fight. Switching between Super Saiyan for the power output and base form for the Spirit Bombs. 10/10 for strat and an 11/10 for overall video.

I always liked that the game made your character stronger if you started in your base form then transformed compared to just starting in that form. Made it feel better to transform mid match when you got a real power up.
Also charging underwater slows down your charge rate. idk if you noticed cause you never commented on it but it's true.

Press Triangle after The UI dodge thing to follow it up. Also when at full ki many characters like Kid Buu can dodge infinite times by pressing O and moving the control stick in any direction

I’m not gonna lie, I just finished the video but I lost hope at the ten minute mark.
I lowkey want a Dragon Ball game where, at least in PvE modes like this, SSJ has a proper, lore-accurate boost.
Maybe not the crazy 50x mult, but something like 5x - 10x damage plus a 50% or so speed boost would be hype as hell. Shredding through waves of enemies with that would be peak video game.
Of course, knowing some modern game developers (especially those under Bandai’s whims), they would then give the enemies 5x - 10x more health and make playing with base form a living nightmare 🙃
You expecting too much from an arena game. "Lore" will never matter because it's a game, and an unbalanced, button-mashy one at that.
@@tkm1875 This game isint button mashy, sorry to shatter your dreams. This is also one of the best arena fighters out there, and even has more defensive options than a game like fighterz. You can block in 3+ directions for example. Every fighting game is going to be not perfectly balanced, plus this game is a fun party game not a overly competitive fighter.
@@changedcj007 Yeah, but you can simply smash left and right to destroy someone's Ki rather easily😅 can't block to the sides in this game.
@@nickvanoort6403 but you can counter, and teleport. Or use defensive moves like wild sense. While you cant block left or right, you can dodge left or right.
@@changedcj007 it doesn't matter though, since you can't vanish without ki😜 and wild sense is good but predictable
The counter is by far the best defence, though it doesn't work on charged smashes

Thank you, cooler is one of my favorite characters, you should do more of these missions with different characters
3 things I believe if you go down a form you lose the ki sickness, if you shoot them point blank range and they dont fall far from you they lose the lock on but immediately get it back because you are too close, and you can use the max modes (now im mad, power up to the very limit) and just spam regular hits dont use a super to avoid triggering the ki sickness
You follow up the UI dodge type thing with triangle/Y, to activate it press triangle/Y while guarding.

It's a triple charged spirit bomb, when it's fully charged it's a one hit
@@lucarioluxray29 True, but I was wondering if being on Planet Namek would add to the already crazy damage it has (i.e., there being a difference between fully charged on Earth and fully charged on Namek). Might boot up the game and actually test this out

It's hard to throw during these challenges BECAUSE the difficulty can spike out of nowhere. You can breeze by one cooler and the next one folds you and slaps your mother while he's at it. Old Dragon Ball games hit different.
