I was the first person in memphis maybe even Tennessee to have one back when they first came out. Nobody knew what it was. Amazing bike, bring backs so many memories.
Funny I'm from Clarksville and I had the first one sold in Nashville in July of 82.It was the frame, fork, and handle bar set. I had white Skyways, blue Comp 2"s and a white Uni seat/post combo. Loved that bike
@@saulgoodman9744 Hey, I'm trying to remember all the bike shops in the Nashville area. Do you remember one on Bell Road, maybe either between I-24 and Nolensville Rd or maybe in the Nippers Corner area? I remember Kelly's in Priest Lake Plaza (Antioch) where the BMX Action Trick Team had their show in 1985. And Buster's Bike shop in Madison.
Now that I'm older and I could afford something like this, I'd love to get one but I'm scared I'll try to do stuff I did in my 20's that my 50 something year old body can't do anymore and I'll end up hurting myself. I miss my Haro Master I had in the early 90's.
Green 86 my favorite your so lucky to have owned one. I got a 86 torker 2 360 freestle blue and white, got it in 2009 and love riding it. Im a haro master guy the 1986 master is the peak freestyle bike @taylorplayer40
I had the haro freestyler in 84 i had skyways blue ones but i always preferred my araya aero or pro class rims red line flight cranks bear trapp pedals still got the scars 42 years later
I love that you guys are doing this! I have a 24 inch DMC getting delivered today! Super stoked! I do wish there was a 24 inch Lineage available, but I’ll be fine with the DMC version. I’ll just have to figure out how to get a Gyro on it. Lol. Keep up the great work guys! Salute!
This bike looks amazing, I had the original frame and fork when first released. No one knew what it was, and it was the only freestyle bike on the market for a few years. On the new Lineage frames, the lower gyro cable routing needs some refinement, as the cable is bent too much and the 2-into-1 cable union is too close to the head tube by almost 1 inch.
Bob used that colour scheme so that's what it needs to bemore accurate. If I were buying one to use I'd swap them to preserve the grips as I guess buying replacements isn't going to be possible. I'd probably match the bike in the colour of the replacements though.
I put down my $100 deposit… I figure I’ll decide over the next 5 months if I’ll take it- making my $100 deposit a $20 a month option. I figured the $100 is a fair trade if I decide yes down the line and miss out- like I always seem to do. But yeah… graphite tuffs with gold hubs… vector bars… blue B1B… blue brakes and a blue seat… with a plate included would have been a no-brainer- even at $1999 for me.
Please whatever power is out there, make sure this is available for me. Aloha ... I had a set of Alienation rims with the reject chrome. It looked like it was attacked by fire ants after two months in Hawaii.
Graphite tuff wheels are not weak every freestyler used um in the 80s skyway team raced with um spokes just ride better blue rims would look miles better everything bob makes is fooking cool hes ahead of his time but he need to take charge of this and tell the bloke it can be better them grips look crap x
Them grips look shit and the seat go blue change them rims it must go it should come with tuff wheels and vector bars looks like a 10 year old has built it 40 year wait for that hes having to ask bob about the history of the bike embarrassing x

Sweet bike - thanks Bob and Butjens for bringing this to us. Clean looking bike, boys.
I've got blue skyways and old school redline crank arms on mine , 47 and still enjoying freestyle BMX .
Still to this day at 47 when I am driving and see a nice empty parking lot I wanna SHRED!!!!! flatland is the best feeling in the world.....flow state
Was there since '82! Always loved that 1st sticker package, now even with new/same head badge.😍

Get one anyway! I did and I'm 52. I had a green 86 and a black 88.

Fully sick👌
Dirt tires in a freestyler?
I’ll be changing them before it even his the ground.
I bought mine in 1987 for $300. I cried when it got stolen. It was the best bike I ever had.
I had the haro freestyler in 84 i had skyways blue ones but i always preferred my araya aero or pro class rims red line flight cranks bear trapp pedals still got the scars 42 years later
It's a dime piece. The geometry looks sweet my knees will clear for Cruising. Totally Custom

Oh it's possible, but you're going to have to drill holes in your head tube for the gyro tabs
I'd rather have a Haro rather than Stolem,Mafia , we the people. Or cult.

The Handle bar grips don't go with the bike wrong color

Looking great...but on photos from '82-'83 the freestyler had a blue seat and blue brakes! I don't found photos with a black seat!
Need the graphite tuffs
Please do another Master run!
And another run of the lineage 48's with freewheels, rather than cassettes... Pretty please! 🙏🙏🙏
I in Edmonton Alberta love one ,,
What’s the weight?
I had a skyway ta bmx I wish I kept it now

Gorgeous, except the random grip colour... why?
Ron was the best summer tour Mc bitd
How about getting a 24 and 26 inch, for the taller adult riders…
Resolution from the 80's as well?
I need this bike, can I put my name on a pre order?

Mags are weaker so lineages tend not to use it, the rest is just preference
