Saw it at TIFF last night. M ade me see an event in my life froma whole different perspective. Not often a movie does that, but when it does oh man the emotions flow. Agree with everything you say, and really don't see how this doesn't win for best animated feature at the Oscars.
I am so thrilled to hear so many positive reviews of this film. It is my youngest daughter's favorite book, and she has been bursting a the seams to see this film. If it follows the source material, I can easily see this as a Best Animated Feature winner. Fingers crossed.
Saw this for a second time last night. For me its the best animated movie since Spirited Away 20+ years ago. I know Flow is still to come, but I cant see it matching this.
I'm expecting an email next week to confirm my screening invite for this movie. Everything I heard about Wild Robot has been excellent. I'm excited to see it.
I soo can’t wait for this as an animation fanatic also too im might be seeing an early screening of transformers one at my amc on Saturday there doing a fan event
Fun fact: DreamWorks has never won an Oscar for any of the Kung Fu Panda or How to Train Your Dragon movies, and they didn’t win with Puss in Boots: The Last Wish either. It’s likely they’ll lose again-not because they don’t deserve it, but because DreamWorks movies always seem to get overlooked
This was ok, but the message must have been lost on me because it was not the feel good, cry/laugher of a movie at least personally it was sold as. Parts of it were, but I did not like the ending and was disappointed when comparing it to the hype. I do not know what to root for in animated feature as I did not love Inside Out 2 either. Maybe Memoir of a snail? I know Transformers One will not win, but I liked that one the most so far.

🆒 review
Loved the trailers so much that I am not even sure if I want to see the last trailer!
I saw it at TIFF too and it's for real in my top 10 best animated movies of all time

I’m betting on this winning the Best Animated Feature award next year! DreamWorks hasn’t won the category since Shrek 1 in 2001, so they deserve it!
I’m so excited to watch this with my daughter. The book was great!
Excellent Review as usual I saw this trailer it looks really good and I can't wait to take my Daughter to see this movie
This movie looks Adorable and touching I can't wait to see this movie
I love the influence from Studio Ghibli, the robot from Castle in the Sky.
Hello Perri! Hope your having a good day!
Having a lovely day! Hope you are too!
Is this a prime example why there needs to be a voice over/mo cap Oscar category perry or no?
@@dpskipallen 💯
This movie is the love child of The Iron Giant, Wall-E and Castle in the Sky and i really like it. I hope this film will be a sole movie only.
Who's been your favorite so far interviewing at TIFF?
Is it based on just the first book? Or the entire series?
