Never gonna say never on owning a star series in the future but will be honest the starclassic line is a super great line when looking at cost and value that you recieve. Absolutely blown away by the quality that Tama maintains when you reach into their midrange and entry level kits
Starclassic WAS the high end line for Tama. The bar wasbsi.oly raised with the Star series. Starclassic is all the drum anyone in the world would ever need however since the design and quality is made to such a high standard.

Love the Tama drums. I own a Sonor designer and those are killer drums but if I ever have to go for another kit: it's Tama all the way. Great hardware too, btw...👍🏻🧡
These drums are gonna be mad expensive though haha. Star drums are already very pricey but now they are gonna use rare woods and very limited quantities and releases, it will def be very very pricey. But imo star drums are the best drums

I got all hand crafted shells on guitar center used gear 2005 star classic mint in matrix green for $600 just keep looking never know
