When we were 50 my husband and I became parents with our fifth child. (Family adoption) A baby at 50 and hubs got a job in Europe that included a lot of travel. We’re old we’re tired, but we still wanted to travel! Two things helped me immensely: I got a car seat that turned into a stroller. We took it right on the plane and dropped it into the seat and pushed it off. It was very soft and the baby loved to sleep in it. We kept it until she was three and then, we got a little chair that straps on to our rolling luggage, and she was strapped into that chair. It was called a ride on carry-on. And it was so handy because we could take it off the luggage when not in use and it folded really flat for storage. We could zip through airports and all sorts of places without worrying that the baby would get lost or being exhausted carrying her. It’s very hard to travel with babies and toddlers, and you have two of them! God bless you!
When we lived in Delhi, years ago, the road we had to take was closed, so our driver decided to take an alternative route....he drove onto a main road into the incoming traffic! Nobody seemed to care except us😳😳🫣😱It was a nightmare!!!
Loved watching your travels but I must admit really could not cope with all the people and pollution and as an asthmatic don’t think my lungs would cope. XPipppa❤
I could not do it, I was stressed just watching at all the chaos, trash and some of the ppl seemed shady in how they were looking at Tara and kids, very uncomfortable. I like to explore and be brave but no way would I ever go to any country like India. Hard to believe ppl still live this way when India in August 2023 just went to the moon but the streets are falling apart. Just makes no sense, humans quality of life should come first. Glad you all survived it.
Hi Tara and John....as you found your trip to India very hard traveling with the two boys why didn't you wait until they were older so could help with the luggage and be able to remember their big adventure ?
Hi Nubi, Suman from India. We love to watch your videos and we love your family. I request you to visit the other side of India where there is no crowd ...It is greener and peaceful. For eg North East India, Uttrakhand,Keral,Shimla,Himachal pradesh...
Thanks Suman, we will head south next I think. Perhaps for the next trip we will go to the North, we would love that. Great to hear from you, thanks for watching friend.
Even with the fog, your videos of the Taj Mahal are so beautiful. So lucky you got to view it before the crowds. It has to be so hard traveling with enough luggage for everyone and carrying the kids when necessary! Such courage you have!
4.5 hours is a pretty short train ride for Indian standards!! Sounds weird to Western ears but it's true. I personally love the trains and have spent countless hours in second class sleeper trains. My first one was a bit shocking as it was Delhi to Goa and it took 47 hours!! India will test your patience, it is just so intense in some cities, but that is for me part of the charm! To be so far out of my comfort zone really taught me a lot about myself. Happy Travels
We did an overnight train from Ahmedabad to Dehli a few years back. It was considered first class. We had small cabins with fold-down beds. Toilets were at the end of the cars. The personal service was by far the best I’ve ever received. The accommodations were less than impressive, but it was an amazing experience, and you couldn’t help but be content with the service given by the locals. Best trip ever for a 3-week excursion through northern India.
Seeing the Taj Mahal after all the crowds and frenzy was so beautiful. In the early morning mist (fog?) it looked ethereal . Young Crusoe will remember this trip and no doubt when he is older will want to do it again.
Tara and John, thank you for sharing an honest picture of your experience. I am sure your tips at the end will help others. This is not a trip for the weak of hearts and lungs. I honestly don't think I could survive all the crowds, pollution, noise, and scams at this point in my life. Crusoe and Sawyer were adorable. Tara, I would definitely have screamed, too. I really hope the Taj Mahal was worth the trip. I imagine it was a wonderful sight to see. Kudos to you all. You definitely covered all bases in your motto with this one.❤
Better to plan less crowded places in india .. which is not ao touristic but still beautiful... go to rishikesh, shimla, Dalhousie, munnar etc. Enjoy the nature ..and calmness of india

I could see in your faces. I could see in the kids faces. It seemed overwhelming. I traveled all over the world for work and there are places that are so overwhelming it is difficult to take the overload. But these are also places that have so much to give a traveler. The sights, the colors, the flavors and beautiful aromas. Thanks for this episode and how you managed to get this on video is amazing
We are loving your India experience. We love that you are showing the real India and not glossing over it. It’s easy to travel as adults but so much harder with children. Hats off to you! What an incredible experience for them! 💛
Many have done it quite seamlessly even with kids too.. coz they know what to expect & what to avoid...these are just crybabies.. their children are more calm & composed than these two grown up crybabies.
Ooooh that made my toes curl..after watching this video not even the Taj Mahal could entice me to go there. Travelling with toddlers has its challenges anytime but that was horrendous. I think John may have realised his enjoyment of days as a single traveller don't hold the same thrill for families. A day you won't forget though. ❤

Your kids are an absolute delight in this episode. I love Crusoe's facial expression when he tried to repeat what the guy on the train said. It was a chaotic train embankment. John how much has the Indian traffic changed since the last time you were there because it seems absolutely crazy there? It's one of the reasons I have no interest in going there but your kids have handled it brilliantly. I felt so bad for you Tara...exhausting.

You folks just jumped another 100 notches up the AWESOME scale in my book!!! How you kept your cool, your persistence, good humour and understanding amidst that cacophonous and overwhelming environment while shlepping two kids and all that baggage is AMAZING. Thanks for letting us in on this family trek 🥵🥱🚉🛺🍦
India is certainly fascinating to see by watching the videos, but I don’t think I could endure it in person with the polluted air, noise, the crowds of people and chaos on the streets; maybe fifty years ago when I was in my twenties? 🤔😊 Thanks for sharing and keeping it real! ❤
If you don’t like it’s your choice, don’t come but it means that you don’t know and haven’t explored the whole country not just limited to big cities but India is a diverse nation, spans vast landscapes from the Himalayas to coastal plains. Northern regions feature mountains and fertile plains, while the Deccan Plateau dominates the south. Rich in biodiversity, you'll encounter lush forests, arid deserts, and serene beaches. Demographically, India boasts a population of over 1.3 billion, showcasing a mosaic of cultures, languages, and traditions. To avoid big cities, explore rural villages, hill stations, and coastal towns for a more immersive and authentic experience, where you can embrace the cultural tapestry and natural beauty beyond the bustling urban centers.

As Indian there are few solutions we find to overcrowding. Hey hi... here are the tips that we usually follow while traveling in India .... 1. When u have luggage plz do not carry your self... there is a porter service ( either a man will carry or a little buggie) they will ask you train , coach n sear nos... they will simply help you to make your life easy. 2. Plz have Uber or ola apps installed in your mobile phones n check availability. Once you tell one taxi driver who is insisting tgat have booked ola or uber they will not ask you again. 3. Usually foreigners or in general travelers who do not know the place are pestered by local cab services because the over charge people. 4. If you have released your video now that means you might have shot it in the month of January which is holiday month in majority parts of India. 5. Yes air quality in Northern India is low due to Northern winds n fod due to global warming.. 6. Plz always find some local people who is willing to receive you when you arrive... Nothing to point you... just telling people who wants to travel to India. Note: the reason for sudden population explosion is due to poor survial rate during 1950 to 1970... you all know the reason why... Note : not telling that India is best but telling you all that India needs time to build infrastructure that can take the weight of 1.5 billion people n can reclaim its lost past position. Hope you understand....
I am so glad that you are back in Portugal now, with no sickness or accidents happening in India. I was so worried to see the little ones walking in the dirty streets, in the crazy traffic - can you imagine catching the Delly-Belly, and ending up in a hospital, all of you? I've been to India some 20+ years ago, and i would not take my kids there until they are at least 10. I'm glad you guys changed your plans and hopefully landed in a more quiet place in India. My favourite was Kerala :)
You might not have been all dressed up but I love the "picture" of you four with little Sawyer peaking over John's shoulder in front of the Taj Mahal. Beautiful!
Enjoyed my arm chair sailing to India with you all! You get A+ for endurance! I’ve traveled to Nepal but not with my kids, lol! You know how to think big, be brave & EXPLORE❣️
Hi from Australia, what a horrible experience, I see the beautiful Taj Mahal, the grounds look clean and well maintained, yet there is no way I would want to experience such a chaotic dirty loud country like India. You were very brave to take your children on this adventure. Your India trip has really put me off India, I worked with alot of Indian people in the medical profession, the husbands want to go back to India to retire and there wives and children say NO WAY. Mostly the wives are nurses, migrated to Australia, some had been working in England. All say Australia is the lucky country. Perhaps you could consider exploring Australia, if you do come, dont come in the summer, its way to hot. September, October are perfect. Love you channel and content, its rawness and honesty is refreshing. X
So according to you densely populated n polluted big cities or tourist destination like agra, delhi n Mumbai is india. I find it funny listening to the stupidity of the foreigners lol🤣🤦 do your research guys before visiting any country, take the help of locals n avoid famous tourist destinations for foreigners if you need a trip which isn't chaotic 🤦 there are so many beautiful, peaceful n full of greenery places in india. Visit those. Every foreigner in india be like - let me go to Taj mahal/delhi. They don't know anything about thousands of year old country n its demography n rich history present across the country 🤦
Newbys that was fantastic, India with two small boys, warts and all. I could feel your anxiety though, the poor air is an absolute stark contrast with what you know and love on the farm. I’m looking forward to seeing what you decide to do next, whatever it is, you already have a plethora of amazing memories and have given the boys fantastic opportunities. Take care xx
@paris0551 You mean to say the natives whom you colonized and taught everything, couldn’t maintain your level of “good air” quality that you left behind. But its good that you still keep measuring the air quality in my country. Racists with their head in the sand
You guys are doing amazing despite all the overcrowding and pollution! Makes me sad because I know people who live in Delhi and it is like that 99% of the time! Your kids are rockstars too!
Been in India three times in the last five year. I have friends there who travel with me! Without them, I would not go to India. I love the country and it's people. I think because it is so so different. But traveling with small children brings it to another new stress level. We had blue sky when we visited Taj Mahal in 2017. We were told it doesn't happen often.
What a great little snap shot of you all in front of THE TAJ MAHAL!! That’s AMZING! On the other hand it’s sad about a the noise and pollution. But thank you for showing us all and the honesty of your travels! ❤ the newby’s!
We're about to head off for 2 months travelling in India. Thanks for the reminder about air quality in cities and madness at stations. We're taking our 3 adult children for a trip of a lifetime! Very excited and a little apprehensive.
Avoid Old Delhi, Agra, and Mumbai, and consider exploring Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Ladakh, and Northeast India for a hill station and scenic mountainous experience. For a tropical and beach adventure, head to Goa, Coastal Karnataka, Kerala, and the Andaman & Nicobar Islands. Additionally, Rajasthan offers iconic historical and architectural marvels such as Jaipur, Udaipur, Jaisalmer, and Jodhpur, making it perfect for a historical and architectural tour. And if you stay in Delhi, choose Aerocity for hotels.
First, Tara you could never look like a bag lady with your beautiful self! 2nd, I agree with another comment "that was a lot". It doesn't look unsafe, it just looks like a lot. John, out of curiosity on my part, is it as you remembered? And lastly, I'm glad to see you back home! Quite the adventure Newbys! The Taj Mahal is stunning.
Nice to see you taking one of cheapest rail tickets. I used to take it when young but no longer can handle 3 berth per side. YOU ARE BRAVE! Your stomachs must be good too to eat rail food so fearlessly. There's nothing wrong with them, we have lived such a sanitized lives for a while that we know our stomachs may not handle it. So we prefer to be safe. Aah, Indian government is getting their act together about being tourist friendly. It will take at least 5 - 10 years before they can get the infrastructure together but India will always be a country with a huge population 😊. India is a country of contrasts. Not an easy country to visit if you are not used to people in such large numbers or not used to noise.
Omg, it's on my bucket list of places to see, but fighting those crowds would be a no no,so thank you John for the tip.its a stunning place and to think it was made for the love of one person. Loving these videos, see you you on the farm.❤
Just to improve your fake knowledge - shahjehan had multiple wives and thousands in the harem. If that according to you is true love why not let your husband or boyfriend try it after promising you a mausoleum 😂😂😂

Yes! The kids are amazing! I know they don't share the meltdowns and I'm sure there are some but Crusoe and Sawyer see to be such happy and well behaved little people!!!!!
Perfect advice at the end ...... N my advice is keep having ginger chai 2-3 times a day in such weather.... take a small bottle of dabur honey from any store and eat a spoon before going to bed ....specially for kids ....it helps prevent cough n cold n soar throat...
Honey, in general, offers antibacterial activity. Raw honey even better; don't know if you can find it raw in India. Cannot go wrong with consuming a spoon of honey, every day, sick or otherwise.
Dabur honey also works perfectly... Every household uses it... If one can get raw honey it's good... But again until unless it comes from someone u know, can't trust that... So safer option just use Dabur or Patanjali honey

Just a general suggestion to all those interested to visit India. Start your journey from southern part then move northwards. Its much lesser noise, chaos and better air quality in south. Delhi , Jaipur ,Agra are too touristic. So better to avoid them and discover other places.
John tries to keep it upbeat and yes the Taj Mahal is stunning but the rest was just a blood pressure inducer. Tara tried to put on a brave front but I could sense she was close to tears and break down. I’m sure you are looking forward to being back in Portugal with fresh air to breathe and plenty of room for the boys to run free ! That being said - what a fabulous memory you have made for the family ❤. John - it’s easier being a solo traveler or as a couple - kids definitely change the dynamics of traveling 😮 🙏 You guys are amazing ❤
As a mom of two sons (grown now) I can’t imagine how much stress I would have felt with so much traffic and people! Good for you two for adventuring out and keeping them safe!
I do admire the train ride from Delhi to Agra , the way you guys did with kids ... even me as an Indian i wouldn't have done that train ...nothing wrong but it can be even hectic for locals specially with kids....
Hello Newby family, namaste!!! How courageous of you to travel to Agra by train to see the Taj Mahal, glad you saw it. Have to ask why John likes so much India that he travelled there often. With 2 small children now it is hard to enjoy with the chaos, scammers, pollution and other things that they are known for. Like I said you had to do it, it is done, will you go back another time??? Next week hope to see you all on a beach somewhere quiet, fresh air and sun, Goa maybe. I thank the Lord he protected you, Sawyer and Crusoe, that you did not loose them in the chaos. Glad you are back home in Amaranth. Until next video of India. Be well, be safe and rested. Blessings🙏💖🥰🌺🦋🏡🇵🇹🌄👱👶
We travelled accross northern India from Mumbai to Kolkata and everywhere either side, Simla, Varanasi, Dargeeling, Agra, Delhi mostly by train during 2016 (we were in our 60s) it was a great experience...we had had experience of living in Africa and other such countries before so it was not quite such a shock as it would have been without this previous experience...so am enjoying watching your experiences and also your little ones reactions. Thank you for sharing your journey.
Wow….talk about challenging! The noise, the air, the train, etc. However, the Taj Mahal was beautiful to see. You are amazing…don’t know how you manage to carry everything and do it with 2 small boys in the mass bedlam that seemed to surround you at times.
Avoid big cities it is hectic all around because there are over million people around (literally trying to survive competing with each other), try to visit Hampi or south India less hectic and very helpful people and very peaceful and do not go without visiting GOA. BEVARE OF SCAMS (Always ask locals or multiple research before stepping ahead).
You were incredibly brave to move around in this biting cold weather, especially with the kids. India as it stands today is no -doubt noisy and get on the nerves of citizens here as well and I felt sad you guys lugging the kids and the luggage and the trip which was delayed due to Fog. Best wishes and god bless you guys
Wow! How stressful. And doing all that with luggage and kids. Thankful you guys stayed safe. I’ve always wanted to travel but never had the opportunity. I truly enjoy all the travel show you and others share. India’s never been on my bucket list because of the crowds and pollution. Taj Mahal is beautiful though. I loved Crusoe’s reaction. He was a excited about that pool😁
Next time if by any chance you are traveling to Indian again which I am not sure after watching your experience. Dont choose these Metropolitan cities. Try visiting south India and The Himalayan states. Much better, less pollution. Taj mahal is overhyped and overcrowded. I haven't visited it being an Indian. I hope the ultra Nationalist in India can ask authorities to work in improving the country.
A thousand people in one square metre? Of course there were - at least on the Newby scale to measure frustration. That really looked like hard work and every time it looked like the bad experience was behind and the good bit could start, there was another thing. India is so beautiful. The episodes with busy places have had mostly beautiful, friendly people, but getting scammed and the level of pollution do rather take the shine off. Well done for making it to the Taj Mahal! I look forward to the fresh air to come.

Hello Newsbys, welcome to India ❤ but you choose the worst place. The Northern part of India is the worst place to visit. If you visit India come to my part the Northern state of Meghalaya "The Abode of the Cloud" and the capital Shillong"The Scotland of the East" and Sohra"the heaviest rainfall in the world" and Mawlynnong"the cleanest place in Asia" so do visit my place with upmost hospitality which you won't regret. Beware of scammers..... That's most important thing.
What a wonderfull idea!!!!
Cant agree more.. Come down to visit the southern states - way safer, more educated, less crowded and magnificent sights, architecture and culture.
Even with the fog, your videos of the Taj Mahal are so beautiful. So lucky you got to view it before the crowds. It has to be so hard traveling with enough luggage for everyone and carrying the kids when necessary! Such courage you have!
Thank you friend. 🙏❤️
Thanks Stephen! 🙏
IKR. Lot of soft puupy's in the comment.
Seeing the Taj Mahal after all the crowds and frenzy was so beautiful. In the early morning mist (fog?) it looked ethereal .
Young Crusoe will remember this trip and no doubt when he is older will want to do it again.
That place looks very poor , busy and dirty .have fun .
Sounds amazing Melody! 🙏🙏👍❤️

Thank you friend, that’s so true! It was tough at times for sure. But we loved it. ❤️🙏🙏
Many have done it quite seamlessly even with kids too.. coz they know what to expect & what to avoid...these are just crybabies.. their children are more calm & composed than these two grown up crybabies.
India have changed a lot. While u travel if u make right choice of train and airline u can be maharaja
Like most people visiting India, you chose some of the most crowded places to visit!
It was a tough day for sure. But the rewards and memories are great. ❤️❤️🙏🙏

Your kids are an absolute delight in this episode. I love Crusoe's facial expression when he tried to repeat what the guy on the train said. It was a chaotic train embankment. It's one of the reasons I have no interest in going there but your kids have handled it brilliantly. I felt so bad for you Tara...exhausting.
Hi Rick! Thanks for the support friend. The traffic was pretty much similar to this the last time John was here but this was a bit more intense ☺️🙏🏼

I agree with this whole heartedly . You have insured that I will never visit India! But, thank you for sharing your experience.

India is not for beginners
Hey hi... here are the tips that we usually follow while traveling in India ....
Thanks for all of these great tips friend. Much appreciated. 👍👍❤️

They don't know anything about thousands of year old country n its demography n rich history present across the country 🤦

oh congratulation that you survive from hell.
Wow……so great to see all the sights but what a feat of endurance with small children, your heavy loads and the stress of so much noise, pollution and general confusion. Don’t know how you all did it…..especially hard on Tara, I believe. 🥰😝🥰
Hi John, Tara, Crusoe and Sawyer……well! If I hadn’t seen your vlog where you are all safely back at the farm, I would be worrying for your safety for sure haha! I absolutely could feel and sympathise with your panic at the train station Tara….but what an experience for you all! Absolute troopers for sure, taking your kids on this trip! Best wishes and ❤ Julie 😊
Hi Julie. Thank you for sharing your concern with us friend, it was quite an experience. Thanks for always showing us your love ❤️🇮🇳
@@TheNewbysExplore Same, glad you are back while I whatch this episode
If there was only some way to beseech western people to not go to Old delhi and Agra. I've grown up in Delhi and went there maybe a couple of times when I just had too and have been to Agra once. No chance of going to either of these terrible places with children. Please accept our collective apologies.
I can understand the title of this vlog, wow. You all did amazing. My partner and I went to India November last year, seeing the taj Mahal again, brought tears to my eyes again. Fabulous video ❤
Thanks Stephanie! What a trip it’s been!!
That definitely looked like hard work you are so brave the boys are amazing, they are a credit to you both. Thank you for sharing your trip but I absolutely love the farm xxx
Thank you Christine!
Yes! The kids are amazing! I know they don't share the meltdowns and I'm sure there are some but Crusoe and Sawyer see to be such happy and well behaved little people!!!!!
All I can say, is, “W😮W”! I would love to see the Taj Mahal, but very hesitant to go to India. I loved seeing it through your eyes.
No need to come here, they come because of views.
I think you are not that stupid.😊
Perfect advice at the end ......
N my advice is keep having ginger chai 2-3 times a day in such weather.... take a small bottle of dabur honey from any store and eat a spoon before going to bed ....specially for kids ....it helps prevent cough n cold n soar throat...
Great advice. Thank you!!
@@trajan3413patanjali honey is the worst. Dabur the best.
Hi Newbys, Bravo to you for doing a train ride…wow so many people..I would be so nervous with the kids. You did a great job. What a beautiful place, it’s a wonder! Can’t wait to see where you go next!! Stay well.
Thank you ! Next to the countryside! Phew! ❤️❤️🙏🙏
Dear Newbies, thank you for taking us with you to India and for sharing your travel adventures with us. I honestly admire your courage to take your two small boys with you and I am glad to know that you all returned well and happy to your homestead in Portugal ! Indian cities would be too overwhelming for me. I can't handle constant crowds, noise, chaotic traffic and polluted air well. I even want to leave London for the countryside after five or six days 😉 so, thanks for the Indian experience, most likely that will be as close to India as I will ever get!
Hello friend, thanks so much for your comment and support. It was quite an experience indeed. We are so glad we can share these adventures with you and give you a taste of India ❤️🇮🇳
There are peaceful places in India if you wanna actually ever go there. Places like Andaman, Lakshwadeep, Kasol, Rishikesh, Leh-Ladakh etc.
India people usually go is just a tip of iceberg,,it's tourist places which are famous so of course there is chaos,,even we check the right time like seasons etc. Before visiting these places ,,but other places are gems where people don't know ,,
Living in delhi I myself don't want to live here , going back to Himalayas, where I belong 😊 and where only thoughts and Nature Echos ,
@@kumarsatyam3314@user-wb8ql4ky7j Hello from Austria! Friends of mine have travelled the northern States of India extensively, and I have been told and shown in movie and photos how beautiful and special India can be. A vast country of tremendous diversity!
When I was there two years ago, the sun was shining and it was a beautiful day. The Taj Mahal was outstanding. So sorry you didn't have the experience I had.
Thanks Anne! Just the time of year I guess. Still a great trip. Thanks!
So excited to see your india adventures!
Thanks so much Jenniffer, we can't wait to share them all with you ❤️🇮🇳
Just a general suggestion to all those interested to visit India.
Start your journey from southern part then move northwards. Its much lesser noise, chaos and better air quality in south. Delhi , Jaipur ,Agra are too touristic. So better to avoid them and discover other places.
Thanks for the tips!
John tries to keep it upbeat and yes the Taj Mahal is stunning but the rest was just a blood pressure inducer. Tara tried to put on a brave front but I could sense she was close to tears and break down. I remember travelling in Europe pregnant and with a very very active toddler and it felt like this episode…of course there were wonderful moments but the luggage hauling , tired kids, my hormones etc all added some stress. Thank you for showing the reality and truth rather than glossing it over. Love your channel! All the best from Canada.🇨🇦
Thanks Janice! ❤️❤️❤️
You two are amazing? Those little boys and all that gear in backpacks. Wow!
great memories 😊but to tavel with two babies it’s very difficult 😥 and specially to India, or jungle…. Mission impossible 😅😅😅…. you guys did it…bravo 👏🏻
I really appreciate how real your videos are.
Thank you Hannah!!
great episode! I enjoyed seeing agra from my cosy sofa!👍🇨🇭
Thanks Patricia!
India has so many beautiful places, and yummy food.
A visit to Ladakh in the North and Other parts in South of India are very beautiful and clean.
Sounds like a great idea Leslie ❤️🇮🇳
I live in Kolkata, West Bengal and would love to host your family. My son in law is from Ladakh and has a Travel and Tourism company. It's a really beautiful place and not so congested. Best time to visit is May to Sept
Your travels to India brought back such wonderful memories. It is a country of extremes ; poverty /wealth/ beauty and ugliness/ heat and cold, kindness and harassment steeped in cultural diversity , rich in history. Little changes. Tara you could never look like a bag woman. Children are so innocent. Your children were amazing !! They just took it in their stride . Their excitement was infectious. Fabulous video series showing all the contrasts just as it is. Thank you
Thank you friend. That’s such a lovely comment to read. ❤️🙏
Yikes that was a tough watch!!!! The staton and the train....😬 how you kept an eye on Crusoe!!! But both boys seemed to take it in their stride, don't know how you did it!!! Then Agra itself....... but the Taj Mahal looked stunning even when it was foggy, wonderful footage....I'm not sure I could cope with india now, so thankyou for showing it to me 😊
Thank you Sarah! 🙏🙏❤️
no you cannot survive even 2 days in India.
Specially city like Agra, patna, jaipur etc
you are just too weak for that hell that we are living
I'm happy to have seen India with your family because I will definitely not be traveling there in person.
Your train journey brought back so many memories. On one of our first rail journeys in India we got on into the wrong carriage and had to fight our way half a mile inside the speeding train with our backpacks…no fun either! But to see the Taj Mahal before the crowds is just magic!
Oh wow Hilary, sounds like quite an experience you went through too. Thanks for the support friend ❤️🇮🇳
Isn’t she a beauty even in the foggy pollution......And you are both so brave negotiating those crazy crowds and noise with two
little ones in tow.......well done!
So fog due to cold weather in your countries you call it a pollution got it🙌🙏
@@shasha0076 Did you not hear them say the air quality was bad?.....Do you not follow the news about the bad pollution in India recently?.....I realise there was fog that was why I called it that duh!
@@lesley2110 there's a difference between pollution n fog🤦 yeah there is a pollution in these densely over crowded places but everytime calling it as pollution is really weird. Even in the morning when hardly there are vehicles running or people out doing their daily stuff. Its foggy due to weather there not due to pollution. N yeah no india isn't polluted. The news you hear is about Delhi n surrounding areas. The reason for pollution there is huge population n mainly crop burning in neighbouring states as they have the huge farmers population there. Rest of india isn't polluted like delhi, mumbai n its surrounding areas🤦
Why are you travelling in train ? It is for relatively lower income group in India. Spend some money and travel by luxurious cab or by air only. Money makes travel easier, especially with kids !
Nothing like that...even higher income group ppl travel in train..it depends on what experience do u want to have and time.
You can try luxury trains too like rajadhani, shatabdi, vande Bharat etc
Bc.... Ur thoughts r So lower & chep minded... Plse spend some good thoughts in mind & travel a beautiful life...😂😂😂😂
@@munmundas0506 Absolutely agree with you
Ye kaisa logic h ...?
Wow! thanks for being real guys! looking forward to seeing next post re changed travel plans. I’m still keen on visiting India but know I will need to deal with all kinds of not so pleasant things too & you guys pulled through beautifully! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
❤️❤️🙏🙏
wow what an experience. I kept hoping your bags wouldn't get snatched or someone tried to get one of the boys. Morocco was our closest experience of crowds of people but this was on a different level. Taj Mahal is rather beautiful & 'awe inspiring' though. Glad you are safely back in Portugal. 💖💖
Does everyone snatch your bags/kids in the west when you travel?
Thank you Robyn! ❤️❤️
I guess it could happen if you leave the bags unattended. Good challenge.
That was an insult.why do you people think kids would be kidnapped.its like all bad things happen only here and not anywhere else in the world.
Unbelievable fortitude! Tara, apart from making the children a top priority, I would have been a sobbing mess. And just when your train journey ended, the nightmare of the streets ensued. I am certain you have 2nd guessed the decision to travel to India with those young boys. Brave can barelyy describe it. I was holding your hand from afar!❤
Thanks Devon! It was a hard day. Now we are home on the farm everything feels like it was so surreal, amazing. What an experience. ❤️❤️
Hi Tara and John .You are wonderful loving and caring parents and I honestly do not want to be disrespectul but I get the feeling that this trip was mostly for you two and specially John.. Given his age Sayer will not remember much. A few years later and both your children would appreciate and enjoy it more. India has a lot of airpolution and the children are so young. I am glad you are safely bak in Portugal
Thanks Corry. I think the trip was for us all. John loves India, and I really enjoyed the trip too. Travel doesn’t always need to be easy or sanitised. Remember before India as a family we have travelled a great deal. More definitely to come too!! Thanks Corry, it’s a fair observation friend.
Bro I think Indian kids are also live in India, right? Don't do such stupid comment we all are human who are living in these planets.
We Indian are poor but human as well, respect every human!!!
There is more beautiful, Eco friendly, places are in India, but they don't go there because I think they want views from a stupid like you or they don't know about that place.
You were working much too hard with your little boys in very difficult circumstances, but it has made us see more of India - both good and not the best. I’m happy that Sawyer and Crusoe are back at home in your peaceful and healthy environment!
❤️❤️🙏🙏
Your most welcome in our Bharat country 🎉🎉🎉
Thank you friend! We loved our India travels. 🙏🙏
9:30 His eyes move to the left in sync with the train blasting past them. It is a beautiful coincidence!
Tara, you are a real trooper. That’s for sure!! What a filthy, hectic mess. OMG, I would have lost my mind. Just glad none of you got sick in India 😵💫.
They don't but definitely you going to sick in an hour if you ever come in that hell that we are living in!
Sorry , I did not mean to offend ❤.@@vikastrivedi6093
That was a real eye opener. Glad you got to see it, but hoping you’re heading for somewhere quieter and calmer next. 😚
Iceland? 😊🙏❤️
I suggest you to visit amritsar. and it will be good to take help from someone local people to bargain at that crowdy places.
Have a happy and safe journey ahead 😀.
Thank you friend! Great to hear from you, thanks for watching!
Appears it was a whole new experience for all, including John. What an adventure to start off your new channel.
Thank you friend! ❤️❤️
Wow! What an adventure! The air quality there eliminates me from ever going there.. watching you was quite stressful! 😮.
You are troopers!!
Thanks so much Margie ❤️🇮🇳
Please dont judge the country by few cities india is a big country we have beaches , mountains, snow and dessert also its just like because of some homeless people i judge the whole america to sleep on streets 😂
@@fakeaccount3627 I am speaking on the air quality in Agra only.. not the whole country.
@@margiemachado4951 Why are foreigners going to Agra I don't understand? It's the most worthless places in India and Taj Mahal is overrated. Foreigners should avoid Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, Varanasi in India and travel to South and West India.
@@matgranger5061 if they avoid how they get views??
John and Tara - while I admire you sense of adventure and willingness to take on all challenges …. I have to admit , I am extremely claustrophobic - so that trip is definitely NOT on my bucket list 😩. I’m sure you are looking forward to being back in Portugal with fresh air to breathe and plenty of room for the boys to run free !
That being said - what a fabulous memory you have made for the family ❤. John - it’s easier being a solo traveler or as a couple - kids definitely change the dynamics of traveling 😮 🙏
You guys are amazing ❤
Agreed about the dynamics Holly. Being back in the farm is so nice, lots of great memories as well. New build starts!!
As a mom of two sons (grown now) I can’t imagine how much stress I would have felt with so much traffic and people! Good for you two for adventuring out and keeping them safe!
Thanks so much Amy ❤️🇮🇳
it's not so easy....to go with kids...
In crowded areas
Thanks Joanne!! ❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏 Fresh air on the way for sure!
Wow! You had an amazing trip Gill!!
Please visit kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, shimla, kulu manali, Darjeeling, assam, arunachal pradesh, sikkim and enjoy why always delhi its soo overrated
Thanks friend, we would love to visit all these places but have added them to our list for next time ❤️🇮🇳
Wow….talk about challenging! The noise, the air, the train, etc. However, the Taj Mahal was beautiful to see. You are amazing…don’t know how you manage to carry everything and do it with 2 small boys in the mass bedlam that seemed to surround you at times.
Exactly Lena!
Thanks for the suggestion friend ❤️🇮🇳
You were incredibly brave to move around in this biting cold weather, especially with the kids. India as it stands today is no -doubt noisy and get on the nerves of citizens here as well and I felt sad you guys lugging the kids and the luggage and the trip which was delayed due to Fog. Best wishes and god bless you guys
OMG! That would be my worst nightmare. How you managed to stay so composed is beyond me.
Thanks Valerie!
We are living in that nightmare for so long they just travelled for views we lived here for survival.
❤️🙏🙏
Next time if by any chance you are traveling to Indian again which I am not sure after watching your experience. Dont choose these Metropolitan cities. Try visiting south India and The Himalayan states. Much better, less pollution. Taj mahal is overhyped and overcrowded. I haven't visited it being an Indian. I hope the ultra Nationalist in India can ask authorities to work in improving the country.
Thanks for the suggestion friend, we appreciate you sharing that with us ❤️🇮🇳
A thousand people in one square metre? Of course there were - at least on the Newby scale to measure frustration.
That really looked like hard work and every time it looked like the bad experience was behind and the good bit could start, there was another thing.
India is so beautiful. The episodes with busy places have had mostly beautiful, friendly people, but getting scammed and the level of pollution do rather take the shine off.
Well done for making it to the Taj Mahal!
I look forward to the fresh air to come.
Thanks Ruth! Well said friend. 🙏❤️
