    my favorite pot pie maker.When done I make sure it is loose around the edges and then flip the unit over and open and they come right out. deep is better than those store bought pies.

    I do wish I could have gotten this kind as the pies are one of the biggest I've seen in a pie maker. There are only really 3 brands available in the US on Amazon and WalMart and the pie sizes are about the same size. However, I am lucky to have been able to get the one I got. And even though the pie size might be smaller, the one I bought can do 6 pies at once.

    I bought this when it was a today's special and its great. I use Pillsbury freezer dough. Works great. I haven't tried cakes or muffins yet.

    I do not plug it in until I put the crust and filling in it cut vents in pie then plug unit in that way you do not burn yourself!

    This will be great for leftover chicken & turkey pies with some Italian sauce & frozen veggies.

    Homemade pie crust turns out so much better, but if your lazy like I can by, use Pet Ritz or Marie Callendar frozen pie crusts and just thaw it out, OR Krusteaz (if it's in your area) Pie Crust mix which tastes so close to homemade to me. Don't use store brand - it breaks up and rips also, or use Pillsbury which after so many times, has a taste I don't like and taste more like shortening and real pie dough, but what do you expect from processed pie dough.

    i feel your pain chef puck. this host is a monster. lol. what a trainwreck this host is. failure to immerse herself and seem standoffish most times (she fails to eat the food and only engages with the woman chef, meanwhile "wolfgang puck" the worlds chef is there, and she can't stand it. lol. just look how far away she stand from chef puck, also notice how she cuts him off conveniently and redirects the conversation to her or the female chef only. lolllz.) almost like she thinks the show is about her. she fails to recognize chef's genius. which isn't unlike most women like herself tbh. thank you chef puck. you are a great chef. i admire your abilities in the midst of adversity (host lady) lol.

    Any tips on removing fruit pies without tops? I tried paper & aluminum strips, chopstick and thin plastic spatula but nothing helps - they keep falling apart. It's not the dough but the removal process I'm having trouble with.

      Hey when done make sure it is loose around edges, close lid flip it over and open works every time. no one thinks of doing it but it works and nothing smashes either.

    Not really great. Maybe I have to use a different kind of pastry dough, it rips a lot.

    I would not eat either because he is always wipeing his nose then touching the food would not eat at his restaurant either..
