Attempted to make today...my filling was delicious...used store bought puff pastry kept an edge of more than 2 inches and the puff pastry still shrunk into the bowl. So upsetting
Puff pastry usually doesn't contract very much, it just puffs up. Did you roll it out? If so, I wouldn't recommend rolling puff pastry at all. Or try another brand.

Most likely you didn’t have the oven at 400 degrees or you may have not let it thaw for 40 mins like the instructions say
