You are the pile of stuff so I sent stuff. Printer cables for first item. Lol pl9823 are neopixels. Just the 5050 are addressable in the smd. I can explain it all to ya if you like in an email. The teensy is a 600mhz arm controller and the ethernet adapter is for your dmx project. I meant to send you a nema23 that was much bigger haha
Joey, You are indeed kind. I sent a box to my great nephew; he and I share the same birthday. He's 10 and loves electronics! ❤ Old Auntie Jenn here has been fiddling with electronics for decades. I've finally started making things, instead of just fixing things. This hobby keeps my brain active. @Pileofstuff you got a great haul there!
Are you Canadian aswell. I'm from Ontario, Brampton Area. East Coast was mentioned I wrote this before I heard that part lol. I like to find other Canadians into similar hobbies as me.
haha that is a heck of a haul. Joey is a good guy. Congrats to your (possible) great grandkids for the leds they shall inherit. May they treasure them.
I think you're good on LEDs until next weekend. At the least 1 maybe 2 days😊 Very nice haul from a very nice guy. People like Joey are the reason why there's still hope for this crazy selfish world.😎
Do a Friday night kit build! We all buy the same kit. You go live and we all just have a few beers and build the kit with ya. Can interact along the way. I for one would do it!
"Holy shit man, what have you done!" is an understatement. WOW! Take a look at timestamp 10.24, there's a HPDL-1414, four character, sixteen-segment bubble display. That's a cool little display, driven with only 4 bits/pins. Cool haul!
Pile of Stuff LED Warehouse, where you get LEDs by the kilo. A box maked with that and 2 keys of blue won't have a problem shipping into the US. When can I put in my first order?😂
Wow, that is amazing. Thanks Joey. You are going to keep our guy busy for a while. Good luck Mr. Stuff, I hope you find some good use for that pile. Take care.
For labeling all my stuff i got a fancy tiny thermal label printer. And I got some cheap labels in various sizes. I labelled some of things, but I struggle with software solution for categorising, sorting and searching for what I need. For now I try to use spreadsheet, because software for labels can import xls files and almost automatically print in batches.
I saw the Teensy and was thinking “awesome,” but then the realization set in that it was only the Ethernet kit. I got the Teensy 4.0 not long ago. It appears to be the Ferrari of microcontrollers :)
He has the 4.1 and the extra 2 8 megabyte flash to solder on. I only needed one haha. I included the ethernet part to help him control his dmx project hahaha
Pl9823 8mm are listed as ws2812b but instead of the normal GRB it's the RGB line you uncomment. Make sure you solder the flash chips onto the teensy 4.1 board before the legs and the ethernet kit is also a dmx controller
@@pileofstuff the blinking ones could make a great busy computer panel display like Big Clive and others have assembled to make a big array of blinking LEDs making a fancy movie effects, active busy computer simulated.
I'm not sure where (or when) he got those square ones. I got some of the smaller rectangular ones in the last mailbag from here: pileofstuff.ca/r/qeeh8

Yes, this seems to be the mother of all hauls. Woooo ....
Looks like Joey is the kind of guy that will be on the AliExpress Christmas card list.
Believe it or not man I paid retail for alot of it. Amazon is as good as aliexpress with a better warranty if you have adhd like me hahaha

How much "Stuff" has Joey got to warrant off-loading this load! What a great guy. 👍

The name "PileOfStuff" is starting to make sense now.

Thank Gawd my buiild area is not alone..a place for everything and everything in every place!!!
I love that the videos make me feel better about my workspace and piles of "cool and it'll come in handy one day" stuff.
Even as a viewer it is overwhelming, how much is enough, but this stuff is addictive to buy.
You'll have to have summer heat projects soldering event. The basement is a great place to be when it too hot
Wow, Joey is a champion! :)
Nice assortment. If counted by parts this is surely more than in my whole lab. Love the big 10mm LEDs and feel the need to order some.
Sounds like you should build a pick-and-place machine for these SMD parts.
Holy Crap Batman, that is one generous gift! Well deserving gifts and such a great subscriber!
Your house will be well lit up this christmas, viewable from space :D
Now you can finally get started on that 8 foot LED TV
4.9 of 5kg, you got your money's worth Joey, nice one.
Merry Christmas ! .. there's no excuse for the lack of projects anymore now ! ;)

Wow. What a cool box to get. I'd like to get a couple for myself!
I'm lucky to have such generous viewers.
What a haul. Nice one Joey. 👍
@7:21, yes it is a practice kit, but it has a function, the name of the kit is 1801 surface mount 15 channel color light controller.
Thank you!
That saves me some research time.
I would like a deep dive into that Controller for Motors
Oh how I would love that box lol!
Yeah, I'm pretty lucky.
😆😆😆😆😆My storage problem is not with small things like that but the bigger stuff yeah
Dental probing poking tool thing = spudger.
There will no longer be any "mailbag Mondays" because you now have EVERYTHING 😀
We'll see what happens next Monday...
the first cable you showed, isn't that for connecting some kind of stepper motor to a standard pin header?
Good thought
you hit the jackpot! maybe you can start doing give-aways!
love the mail bag videos there so calming to watch

What are you going to do with the stepper motor? A mini wind generator project, perhaps?
I'm still a bit overwhelmed. Not entirely sure what I'm going to so with most of this stuff yet. Too many possibilities
Well, time to build a few BigClive super computers.
Christmas in May !!! Love your videos. Thank you. From Bob KC1STB.
Does Joey own a shop? LED shop. Maybe I could order parts from YOU after this haul!
