That one was really personal. She wrote it about her mother’s illness who passed away a few years later from the illness. I think it can be felt in the atmosphere that this was more than a song. Thanks for your reaction ❤️

My dear ,psychie ♥ It's a song that Lara wrote for here mother that still is so beautiful as she was young .Buth she has the maladie of Alsheimer and forget everything. She lives in the past. Lara brings roses for her ,buth she don't understand that she is her DAUGHTER. LARA feels so sad ,to see her mother like that . A beautiful performance of this song, another excellent choice to react to. She really creates a very intimate feeling, and then takes us through the journey of emotions of something so sad and awful and completely out of everyone's control. It's a song that is lyrically brutal yet melodically heavenly.
You should be an Author - you write so beautifully, but above all, you are always so balanced, grateful - you never ask for anything but 'so' grateful for what is served, and humbly appreciative. People rarely tell people good things, they're so hellbent on wanting without giving, and just think about themselves. Sobriety taught me a lot about gratitude and I try my best to keep it in sight. I actually am a songwriter myself, or at least was in a former life. So I very much appreciate Lara's skill as a lyricist and composer. And there is just nothing better than sharing her brilliance with others who love her. Part of it is that discovering her a few years ago made me glad to still be here, which chronic pain makes very difficult. Reaction videos, especially hers, became part of managing it. She has that much affect on people, on me, so I am very grateful for her and the community of her lovely fans from all around the world. I really appreciate the lovely environment you've created here. It makes it a pleasure to be here. 💜

I had not seen this live version from 2016. The English translation is worth hunting down - I did one which I posted under her official video on YT. You have now looked at a wider range of Lara's songs than most reviewers and I admire for your enterprise. If you are game to listen to another of the more socially aware of her songs, you might want to check out her "Llora "(live Moscow 2014). It's sung in Spanish and is about a beaten wife. Cheers!

Since I gave you a lead on something you have already listened to, I suggest "non-coupable" 2016 in which Lara ( certainly not dressed as a diva!) stridently sings to her fans in Brussels. She reflects on past criticisms, particularly the early criticisms from the French media that she was a "shouter". She asserts powerfully and unashamedly her right to do what she likes.
