My favorite Nana song, and two of my favorite singers. I’ve seen them both in concert and they were the best! Nana 4 times and Lara 3. I was in tears at my last Nana Concert when she sang acapella . I felt how it would be the last performance I’d see of her. That was like 3 or 4 years ago!

Well, she played in the 70`s here in Nürnbgerg, Meistersingerhalle, großer Saal. My Mother was an Big Nana M. Fan, i accompanied Her on this Concert, 9 Yrs Young, and to the Song Weiße Rosen aus Athen( white Roses from Athen) brought an Red Rose to the Lady, although i didnt get an Kiss, but an little Comfrot per Hand:). My Mom told me, i were grinning whole way back to my Place.
Now, as an nearly Grandpa, i must say, i remember this Moments very detailed. Later Years I always adored the Lady more for her Social Engagement then her Music. Although i gotta say, The Quincy Jones produced Album from 1960, The Girl From Greece Sings, Great! Not the Pop you know, for sure:) Her biographiocal Work from 2007 is also in my Shelf did bought it for my Mother back Then, one of the Last Things she read.
One of the Ladies of Europe, thet surely left an Mark in and on our Continet, in many Facettes.
Great Lady, now you brought me to really hold on to my tears with that Recap in your Style:)
