That idea with POV violin playing is amazing. It's like something relaxing to your eyes, especially if talk about PAG caprices, that fingers movements looks awesome. Thanks for your videos, hope you'll do one with Caprice #19.
That down-down-down-up bowing is so f*cking insane. I don't know how anyone plays it. Anyhoo, awesome playing. I love all these videos of the Caprices from above. I learn a lot.
Wow, you totally rocked the original bowing! I was wondering if you could comment about playing with and without the shoulder rest? Because if I'm not mistaken you used to play with a shoulder rest some years ago but then made a switch? How long did it take to feel comfortable, to train your thumb, adjust to the new position, even to simply find a suitable chinrest?
@@SeanLeeViolin Thanks or your answer! Would you ever consider making a video about this issue, similar to the ones where you talk about pagnini caprices? Otherwise, perhaps you would have some tips to help with the switch?
I noticed that he plays sometime with collapsed third finger in first position. Is it because he was placing that finger on both D and G string at the same time?
Very interesting, the human hand and mind are an amazing creation. I was surprised to see how many times the 3rd finger collapsed - cello style. (I should say human hands, the right hand is no less important. )
BRAVO! Original Bowing is impressive!

Thank you! And yes, that's correct and it took me several years to make the change--much longer than I expected!
