My aunt and uncle both worked for Trump and they said he knows everyone’s name and the name of their family members. He is very personable
His public image reminds me of a boss I once had. When I was a kid I worked in the hospitality industry. Waiting, bartending, porter, banquets, etc. I worked at a hotel for 3 years and the same GM was there the entire time. He worked from 6-9 every day, plus he'd just show up in his ofc hours. The man didn't sleep. He knew every regular, he knew every single staff member, he knew their kids, he knew sooooo many of the customers. He could sit down for a beer and locker room talk, and then head over to a board meeting and not skip a beat. He truly was the best boss I ever had. Trump reminds me of him, for sure. I know it's only what I get to see, but I'm thinking the dude doesn't have much of a filter, so a lot of that is exactly what he's like.
My dad was his attorney in the 1980s when he built the Taj Mahal in Atlantic city. Trump bought out a lot of adjoining properties and paid the sellers well.
