Thanks guys. Your videos are concise, lacking all kinds of fluff others seem to feel is important but is not. Keep up the good work! PS who cares about an accent? This is America. We're a melting pot of a society, and if people can't get past an accent, they have bigger issues than A/C in their car. :-)
Saved me hundreds I just ordered a compatible one from Amazon and presto added the oil and turned it on then added refrigerant free on and it blowed colder than bran new
If I want to remove the compressor and not replace it will I need to block off any of the connections or hoses, and will the heater system still work in the car without being connected.
Hi good informative video. i have a question can the compressor clutch be removed without removing the compressor i have one of these vehicles and the AC compressor clutch coil has gone open circuit and. I am hoping this can be done as i really don't want to have the expense of getting the system vacuumed and then recharged.
Great video! Im going to replace mine. part number is: AV1119D629AC. But I find 2 options. 108mm belt pulley and 110mm belt pulley. Wich one do I need? Or can I use both sizes?
I'm looking for the serpentine belt tensioner on 2012 Ford Fiesta and it seems like it doesn't have one. It's a stretch belt and does not have a tensioner. I bought a 17' ratchet socket for no need.
Hi there, I bought a second hand fiesta with A/C but I don't know where the electric cable that supplies power on the compressor comes from. Can you help me to find it?
Hi, Question for you. At 7:53 when the AC compressor is being lowered, a little tube can be seen sticking out of the bolt hole. There should have been one more in another bolt hole. I am guessing they locate the compressor when mated to the engine. Question is, does the new compressor have to have these? My new compressor didn't come with new ones. I have one stuck in the old compressor and Advanced Auto didn't show one on the parts list.
Late reply but those are dowels that you can pull out with some needle nose pliers that should be transferred from the old compressor. Sometimes they stay left behind though.
We have a fiesta also its the 1.0 ecoboost version after the total aircon system cleaning and freon charging the car won't start and it was brought to the dealership to do some reset how do you avoid that incident.
i have a 2011 fiesta ses and ac get semi cold then goes warm and the compressor kicks off and on . i had system checked to see if i needed freon and guy said it was full any idea what it could be ?
my head hurts trying to figure out what this guy is saying. accent is BAAAAAAD . i didnt take tire off . that part wasnt needed. got to the rest EASY .

Great video, just a few questions. 1) is the install procedure just a reverse of the removal? 2) Should you replace the belt?

Straight to the point. Thank you.
2 questions:
Does the new AC compressor come already filled with oil?
Where exactly is the climate system dryer?
Is the suction hose the top or the bottom hose on the compressor??
I wish you guys would’ve shown specifically how to get it out, it’s in a tight position and for days just trying to get the 13mm 🤯🤯🤯

Question: You're showing a 2017 MK7. I have a 2012 Fiesta SE. Different compressor, yes? I want to confirm before purchasing.
Did you ever get an answer about this? Facing the same issue

How do you recommend we fill after replacing? Can I just use a can from Walmart?
Do you have a video for the Mk3 focus? I need to replace the AC compressor on my 2014. What other parts need to be replaced along with the compressor?

Late reply but no they must be removed.
Do you know where AC drain tube is located in mk7?
I need mine fixed I hate learning how to fix things I'm being forced to, I wished things would last forever and not break or ware out
PLEASE do a video on changing the blower motor in a Fiesta ECOBOOST 2015. It's all over online forums and nobody has covered the answer!
You need to remove the knee air bag, disconnect steering column, remove gas and brake pedals, then you can remove the blower.
You know what would be a helpful addition to your videos ? estimated labor time
damn ford make everything difficult
🤷 showed nothing
that wire you was talking about while filming a stud and the back of your hand
