#howtomake #howto #fencing
I made this during last winter, just got around to trying it out.
re-purposed aluminium, from when i renewed my conservertory roof last year
I have a spare panel i use when maintenance required to my fencing, old one out, spare one in, then repair / treatment, then reifit. move on to the next one, all without having to rely or ask for help to lift out
Just showing my way of getting around a problem, suppose it could be made from timber.
thanks for watching
a sub, like & share greatly appreciated.
I knew there must be a way to do this job on your own. Just got to buy a conservatory and remove the roof. I already have the little Halfords hoist from about 50 years ago and still use it. Well done as usual. 👍
cheers Peter
Make one out of timber, don't wait for the conservatory👍👍😉

I think this is what they call 'working smarter, not harder'. Thanks Kev.
cheers Mark
Jon's workshop summed it up, "brains not sprains"

Wow! One word, ok, two words…… “bloody clever”. Definitely a great success. Can’t imagine how you can possibly remove and replace slotted fence panels on your own any other way. 👏👏👍😀
cheers Andrew
I don't have to rely on help now, can do it when ever i feel like it.
Jon's workshop summed it up, "Brain not Sprain",
Thanks Andrew
@@MrFactotum “Brain not sprain” is inspired. I will steal that off Jon 😄👍
@@andrewdolinskiatcarpathian i've already stolen it Andrew, but feel free to steal it again🤣🤣😉😉👍👍
Worked well Kev. Some good lateral thinking. I have a very similar cheap rope hoist with nylon wheels and cord. We used it to lift a 6 cylinder GM motor out of a vehicle, which was way over it's load limit and sketchy as hell. It did it, but had to watch out for rope burn lowering it as there's no brake control. Never again :) Cheers Rob
no what you mean Rob, fortunately won't be lifting anything that heavy

Only a proper engineer would come up with that and especially with items you already had to hand Brilliant Kev.😅 Regards Stuart from farther North.
thanks Stuart from further north.
i can't bear to throw anything away, and don't sleep till i've found a use for them😉👍
take care

Gday Kev, absolutely brilliant idea and it works great, if you ever get a few spare brain cells I’d really appreciate them, I need to think like you mate, cheers
cheers Matty

Ingenuity in bucket loads Kev, working on your own is not easy and brains over sprains is a winner! Well imagined and executed. Cheers, Jon

Must remember that one, brains over sprains😉👍👍👍

Brilliant Kev 👍👍👍 Great re-purposing. I too really don't like throwing stuff away, which is why I have a house full of crap 🤣🤣 Cheers, Alan.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍yeah, me too, got to streamline, but ive been saying that for years

Fantastic Kev, I have to do pretty much all tasks by myself so this kind of ingenuity inspires me!

@@MrFactotum hibernation over but lethargy has taken over.
@@chrisstephens6673 that's a shame, Chris you need a tonic..............., preferably with a Gin in it!!!🚂🚂🚂🚂👍👍😉😉
@@MrFactotum fill your moat with gin and ill bring the tonic.
I'll let you into a little secret, I have been tidying up a bit and found under aĺl the rubbish a hard surface, I googled it and it seems it's called a floor.
I might even have cleared a little bench space enough for the granite surface plate I bought 5 or 6 months ago!
Who knows, I might even make a few things I have been designing in my mind since last summer, but don't hold your breath.
@@chrisstephens6673 Great chris, glad you found the floor!!, so maybe there is something on the horizon, give me a nudge when i can stop holding my breath, 👍👍👍👍👍👍
