Thank you so much for all your hard work, sir! Im loving the house and the ship much more than I expected, got my friends to download it too! You're awesome and reading this comment thread really helped with the blackscreen issues I was having :) Thanks amigo!
The best mod (my opinion) for Starfield has gotten even better! It's the complete package. I get a decked out and powerful Starborn ship which carries 5 more crew than standard (love that!), has two custom vendors selling tons of great items, one even treats the many combat and environmental afflictions I acquire on my travels. Lots of custom storage connected directly to the workbenches. I also get a unique and stunning player home in a perfect location, now with large extra room to decorate to my tastes, a companion that I desperately wanted to accompany me through the main quest (normally only available when skipping it),11 added quest markers for convenience, a vast assortment of weapons, armor and apparel, a huge amount of custom built items I can use in my ships and outposts, which I have seamlessly too. I swear.. this mod is exceptional with what it offers and how it's presented! I'd happily pay for a gem like this. Thank you again!🫡
Thx. I'm pretty heavily invested in this game. I will take your advice but I'm going to try to move everything out of the house and ship to the Lodge then delete the mod and reload it. If it doesn't work I lose all the companion affinities and missions history two day before Shattered Space and I can't make it up in time without a lot of cheats. Again. Thx
Great mod I love the ship and the house. I can board the ship but it won't let me land anywhere. I get the message can't fast travel from this location. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
READ THIS AND GO OVER IT BEFORE POSTING ABOUT ISSUES!!! (Reposted from Nexus on to UA-cam for convenience.) If the mod isn't appearing or you claim there is a bug with this mod in your game or you're having some kind of issue start with this: DO NOT POST ABOUT A PROBLEM BEFORE DOING THIS, REGARDLESS OF WHAT THE PROBLEM IS: Please check your mods before reporting issues! When ever you install mods this should be your default process to fixing things. - ~ Start a new game with only this mod installed no matter what, even if you never installed mods on the save before, if everything is fine, then try to fresh enter New Game Plus, your game may need a CELL refresh to make things function, adding mods in to a currently played on save doesn't always magically work, nor do all mods magically work well together. ~ Uninstall every mod you have except this one, load this mod on a Clean Un-Modded Save or preferably a New Game with absolutely no other mods installed beyond the Midas Manor, now or previously if loading a saved game. ~ Having 30-100 mods starts causing problems, you may need to delete some of your mods. ~ Deleting a mod doesn't suddenly mean it's not still effecting your game, when deleting a mod mid run, it corrupts the game, it doesn't fix it. ~ If this fixed your issue, re-enable your mods one by one until you find the conflict. ~ If having an issue with ships in any way, start with DELETING ALL MODS EXCEPT THE MIDAS MANOR, START A NEW GAME. ~ If you saved on the ship and load in the next day finding it invisible, load that exact same save again and it'll be back. (It's an issue I've encountered since the launch of the game.) - For those that ask what my Load Order is: The Midas Manor is at the bottom, I only have my mod installed and Bethesda's Official Created Creation Club Mods, I have no mods from other people or sources installed. I CAN'T FIX OTHER PEOPLES MODS, I CAN'T FIX WHAT YOU CHOOSE TO INSTALL, I CAN'T FIX YOUR LOAD ORDER. Please be thorough with checking YOUR MODS before telling me this mod is broken, do checks, test your installed mods, make sure all installed mods are actually made with the Starfield Creation Kit if you want to help avoid problems, my first and foremost answer to "Game broken" is "Disable your other mods, play this mod on a clean un-modded, as in never had a mod installed on it before save file or delete some of your many many mods." If reporting a bug with the mod, make sure the bug is with THIS MOD, meaning you are absolutely sure it's this mod and you have no other mods installed on a vanilla game and started a fresh new game to check for the problem. You only have this mod installed on a clean, fresh save file that has never had a mod on it at any given time and it's creating an issue, I will fix that as fast as possible and I appreciate the extremely helpful feedback! A conflict with someone else's mod is not a bug with this mod, I am not fixing other peoples mods to work with this one, unless I choose to because I'm using said mod. A bug by Bethesda that is a part of the default base game, is not my responsibility to fix... Please contact Bethesda Support and make a bug report with them to help make them aware of any existing issues so their teams can address them. SHIP: Most mods that effected ships modify a lot of their CELLS which seems to be the leading problem of the crashes and infinite loading... If you installed any ship mods that modify form lists (as in adding new parts or ships that are not part of the default game or made/re-made properly in the Starfield Creation Kit or made with third party tools) then that would've corrupted the games CELLS making it so you can't enter the ships interior. Deleting a mod doesn't fully remove the custom scripts and form changes that author added in, it just corrupts CELLS and I deliberately avoided using custom scripts in my mod to not cause significant problems for the user, the only real conflict it would have with another mod would be one allowing you to edit Starborn ships specifically. So the only thing I can really suggest is to remove any mods that would effect ship building, other than that I'd say to enter New Game Plus with only the mods installed you want to continue playing with that you know won't cause problems or break anything, or make a completely new character to help guarantee avoiding problems. You can enter New Game Plus via the Midas Manor, in the Secret Room there is a button to The Unity. TLDR: ~ Try removing every mod except the Midas Manor, make a new game and see if the problems still persist, then add mods back one by one. ~ You may have too many mods installed (30+) delete some. ~ Deleting a mod doesn't suddenly mean it's not still effecting your game, when deleting a mod mid run, it corrupts the game, it doesn't fix it. ~ I have not been able to replicate any infinite loading screens or crashes or disappearing cities on a save that only ever had this one mod installed on it. ~ If having any issue relating to ships, delete all mods except the Midas Manor, start a New Game first, then try New Game Plus if all is fine. ~ If this all fails, as a last resort, I'd then suggest to uninstall the game, delete the Data Folder and then reinstall the game to completely flush out any files from heavily script based mods and remnants from varying files. ARMOR: Because the Captains and Monster Boost-packs and the Monster Helmet were made invisible, the texture was removed from them to make them work for the suits on the Player Character, due to this, companions don't like equipping gear that has no appearance markers. The only way it seems to fix this issue would be to edit the .nif file themselves to make the object invisible, but still equip-able for the companion, doing so would make said gear piece invisible across the board for anything that uses the .nif file. I am NOT going to do this, it's not worth it for the user in the long run and would diminish ones playing experience... You can use a console command to force equip the gear piece on any companion/NPC, or just use the Midas Mantis set for companions, sorry for the inconvenience, but it was primarily done so the player character could have a better experience with the armor pieces, not companions. VENDORS: Vendors respawn/refresh after 7+ days of in-game time, you need to not be in the same "Instance" as the Vendors to make them respawn/refresh their inventories. Does anyone know why I can’t locate the ship? I’ve gone to planet Vectera in the Narion system, and I don’t see it anywhere. Is there something I’m missing?
Well as someone already had this issue... Did you update the mod? If it's still not there, did you start a new game or enter New Game Plus? If not, try that and see if it spawns, that's usually the problem, needing a CELL reset.
Mod is fantastic. My favorite by far. I think I have the shield bug. 5 green bars and the rest are red. Ship shield is at 33%. Can I get another one on Narion? Can I sell the current one? Any advice?
That's a very specific, very weird bug... I'd say try reloading to an earlier save point or try swapping to another ship and back, if that doesn't work for something basic to try... You'll have to enter New Game Plus to reset the games CELLS, you may have a very odd CELL corruption on your save file, so if you enter New Game Plus it'll reset everything as if you started a new game, the issue should be gone, if it's not, I'd say you may have a mod conflict... Start with looking at any mods you installed that modify ships in any way. There is a button to enter New Game Plus (The Unity) in the Secret Room of the Midas Manor. Just to fully answer you... Starborn ships can't be sold, part of the default game that is and there isn't another one, just the one ship is going to spawn, so NG+ is the best way to refresh the game to fix weird little things like that, especially if you installed the mod on an already existing save... It's always best to do a CELL reset by entering NG+ or start a new game after installing or removing any new or old mods.
Hey, so I’m playing on a save that was vanilla with ONLY this mod installed and I still can’t enter the ship. Any suggestions? 🙏 (awesome mod btw man thanks for making it)
Did you ever, at any given point, have any other mod installed on that save file and removed it at any given point in time without starting a completely new game? If you installed a mod, loaded up your game, played for 5 seconds, quit, deleted it, loaded up that same exit save and continued playing, the cells of the game would then be corrupted.
@@SteveBobson Well I can't replicate it... So if I'm to try, I'll need extreme details in to literally everything or it's guess work on something I can't make happen... But first, have you tried on a new game and not an existing save?
The weapons are balanced for Extreme Difficulty. Balancing the ship also took many hours, it's not easy to do nor enjoyable as you must go in to the kit, set values, turn it in to a mod, run it in-game, test it, go back to the kit... Do that a couple hundred times with the kit constantly crashing and it starts to do your head in... If the ship balancing is not to your liking though, I'd suggest opening the Starfield Creation Kit yourself and you can balance it which ever way you like for yourself, or don't use it if it's still too easy for you even on Extreme Difficulty... But my focus is to look at other projects, the ship balancing is fine to me for my enjoyment of the ship combat to not have it feel like a total slog, so it'll remain as it is.
With all of the Guardian mods barely touching the damage on the weapons, FINALLY a mod author has done something about this and made a strong Guardian for us (THANK YOU Dialectric, love you) - and TrondLarsen! goes and sends this message. Just unbelievable.
Technically it is registered to the player, as in I've gone through trying every possible flag to represent "ownership" but that text in the ship selection menu just won't change no matter what I did and the text change doesn't mean anything in the long run anyway... But it is registered to the player once you get in it and fly it for the first time and in every other way it acts like a Starborn ship as it is one, meaning it can't be sold or modified, modifying it can only be done in the Starfield Creation Kit.
Respect... Why can't I enter your ship, I get a black loading screen and then the game freezes. Are there any special conditions or missions to complete in order for him to access the ship. Everything else works great for me, thanks 👌.
Most mods that effected ships modify a lot of their cells which seems to be the leading problem of the crashes... Deleting a mod doesn't remove the custom scripts that author added in and I deliberately avoided using custom scripts in my mod to not cause significant problems for the user. You can enter New Game Plus via the Midas Manor, in the Secret Room there is a button to The Unity. If this all fails, as a last resort, I'd then suggest to uninstall the game and reinstall it to completely flush out any files from heavily script based mods.
@@Dialectric I don't have any mod like that, I only have the Iconic Ship mod installed, it's a couple of already finished ships, so I doubt it's causing the problem, but I'll delete it and see anyway. He would really like to use you ship, I thought I had to complete some missions or game for him to use the ship. In any case, thanks for the answer, you are a great person, you deserve all the praise for your patience and professional work, well done 👏👏😎🍺🍺.
@@mokemoke1947 Thank you. Well other than that all I can say is try removing every single mod you have installed, keeping only the Midas Manor mod installed, make a new character or fresh enter New Game Plus with only the one mod installed, check the ship and see if it's still happening. I haven't been able to replicate any infinite loading screens or crashing from the reports people gave me, and from the ones that did get back to me, it was always another mod that involved ships that broke the interior... Other than that, I honestly have no clue what the issue is since I can't make it happen for me on a vanilla game with just the one mod installed. If you figure out what the issue is let me know, if it's something I can do something about, I'll do my best to fix it. If it's somebody's mod that's breaking it, there is nothing I can do.
@@Dialectric I changed the loading order, I put your mod below in the order and I got into the ship, I hope everything will be ok, that I will have all the functions and that I didn't confuse the other mods haha. Thank you very much for your support.
EDIT : I found the problem. It must not be switched off (SAVE ON TRAVEL), if it is disabled you cannot enter the ship, at least that's how it is with me. Just so you know, if someone else has a problem, you can help them.

Is it possible to register the Midas destroyer?
If you installed any ship mods that modify form lists then that would've corrupted the games CELLS making it so you can't enter the ships interior.
Deleting a mod doesn't remove the custom scripts that author added in and I deliberately avoided using custom scripts in my mod to not cause significant problems for the user.
So the only thing I can really suggest is to remove any mods that would effect ship building basically, other than that I'd say to enter New Game Plus with only the mods installed you want to continue playing with, or make a completely new character.
Just so you know, if someone else has a problem, you can help them.
my xbox keep crashing when ever i try to enter the ship?
READ THIS AND GO OVER IT BEFORE POSTING ABOUT ISSUES!!! (Reposted from Nexus on to UA-cam for convenience.)
If the mod isn't appearing or you claim there is a bug with this mod in your game or you're having some kind of issue start with this: DO NOT POST ABOUT A PROBLEM BEFORE DOING THIS, REGARDLESS OF WHAT THE PROBLEM IS:
Please check your mods before reporting issues! When ever you install mods this should be your default process to fixing things.

~ Start a new game with only this mod installed no matter what, even if you never installed mods on the save before, if everything is fine, then try to fresh enter New Game Plus, your game may need a CELL refresh to make things function, adding mods in to a currently played on save doesn't always magically work, nor do all mods magically work well together.
(It's an issue I've encountered since the launch of the game.)

For those that ask what my Load Order is: The Midas Manor is at the bottom, I only have my mod installed and Bethesda's Official Created Creation Club Mods, I have no mods from other people or sources installed.
I CAN'T FIX OTHER PEOPLES MODS, I CAN'T FIX WHAT YOU CHOOSE TO INSTALL, I CAN'T FIX YOUR LOAD ORDER.
Please be thorough with checking YOUR MODS before telling me this mod is broken, do checks, test your installed mods, make sure all installed mods are actually made with the Starfield Creation Kit if you want to help avoid problems, my first and foremost answer to "Game broken" is "Disable your other mods, play this mod on a clean un-modded, as in never had a mod installed on it before save file or delete some of your many many mods."
If reporting a bug with the mod, make sure the bug is with THIS MOD, meaning you are absolutely sure it's this mod and you have no other mods installed on a vanilla game and started a fresh new game to check for the problem.
SHIP:
Most mods that effected ships modify a lot of their CELLS which seems to be the leading problem of the crashes and infinite loading...
TLDR:
~ Try removing every mod except the Midas Manor, make a new game and see if the problems still persist, then add mods back one by one.
ARMOR:
Because the Captains and Monster Boost-packs and the Monster Helmet were made invisible, the texture was removed from them to make them work for the suits on the Player Character, due to this, companions don't like equipping gear that has no appearance markers.
VENDORS:
Vendors respawn/refresh after 7+ days of in-game time, you need to not be in the same "Instance" as the Vendors to make them respawn/refresh their inventories.
Example: Do not be on/inside the Ship for 7+ days to make them respawn/refresh. - Do not be inside the House for 7+ days to make them respawn/refresh.
