- It was sad and surprising to discover Peach so sick. He went from for showing any obvious symptoms of illness to being very ill overnight. Before bed he seemed great! Climbing up for treats, but in the morning, Peach seemed in pain and even with immediate pain meds and gas drops he passed away in less than an hour. I'm heartbroken, but still must do the best I can for Ash, his bonded friend. This video is a guinea pig bonding with Ash and Tucker.

I am so very sorry; One of my piggies had surgery last week and came home doing well but we had to take her to emergency vet and we lost her. Am heving a tough time but not as tough as our other piggie; she barely comes comes out of her hidey except to eat. We went to the ASCPA and they have what appears to have what appears to be the perfect friend. Are getting her today. Wish us luck!

Ash is such a handsome and sweet boy. So sad that his buddy passed however it also gave Tucker the chance to have a friend and keep Ash company. Trying to look at the positive things even when something sad happens.

I’m so sorry that you lost Peach. I think that sometimes it comes down to a genetic problem that there is nothing that you can do for them no matter how well you look after them. I’ve had the same sort of experience a few times now.
This is a good point, especially in smaller pets where problems may be more difficult to see. Giving them their best possible life that we can provide, can at least give them a happier and loved life, which is really all we can do for some of our loved ones ♥️
For some reason Guinea Pig deaths hit me harder than most. I've thought about why; have a few ideas. But I know how you feel: powerless, sad. You just want them to know that that are loved and will always be cared for.
My heart goes out to you and Peach. So sorry fot the loss of this little one.

I also had a guinea pig pass suddenly, tin the evening she was ok and acting as usual in the morning I had found she had passed away.

R.I.P. Peach. ❤️ I know Guinea Pigs try their best to hide it when they’re sick so sometimes it’s only noticed when it’s too late. 😞 I’m really sorry. I don’t remember you getting Peach and Ash. I’ll have to look back through vids, may have missed one. That’s good to hear that it’s working out well with Ash and Tucker. Tucker sure has a big personality. ☺️ The tunnel shenanigans were pretty entertaining, haha.

I'm So Sorry to hear about Your Loss! Rest in Peace Peaches💔🙏😇😩 Piggies are Small Creatures but Big on hiding their Pain and Illnesses!! Friday I had my First Emergency Experience also!! Oreo was Fine it appeared as I walked in to their room in the AM. Then Peanut jumped her for the chair. It seemed to hurt Oreo? Oreo hopped across the Cage. I had just seen a Video on hopping meaning a painful issue with Saskia too!! Then Oreo was Crying out and Limping! I Lost it but not until I gathered a Vet Appointment and Money to take her in..... She had a Physical Exam....an X-ray and Oreo doesn't even have Arthritis the Vet said!!❤ But she did tweak her wrist the front paw that I could clearly tell that was injured at home from Peanut acting Silly. Metacam 4 days and Oreo is as Good as New!!! Thank God!! I since ordered Mary's CBD Ointment and it arrived today! Thank You Scotty for Sharing!
My condolences Scotty. I know how horrible u must feel but ur an amazing pig dad and foster. This is one of the reasons I’ve held off owing pigs for a awhile my Gus Gus did me in and I’m still healing. It’s like their life span is so short by the time u feel they settle in its time to go and that’s why I wait. But I know how important it is to save guniea that really need a home. So hopefully soon I’ll get back to owing guniea pigs. Until then I watch u and LA guniea pigs.
I had a guinea pig named agustus Gus Gus for short I got him at a pet smart and he was just a baby and his hips we're sticking out and he was pretty skinny. I didn't know any better because I was a first time owner and I tried to do research, but I didn't know too much about the symptoms. I believe he got upper respiratory infection. He was making clicking sounds, and he wasn't eating or moving. He was suffering and that same day he passed. Please don't buy from pet smart or pet co if you can because they do not take good care of guinea pigs. I got a new guinea pig for my other one at a small pet store, hoping that this one would be healthy. I got him and named him Cosmo. I noticed he was constantly itching a lot and I decided to look at his fur. He had some type of little bugs moving around in his fur and when I would pull the hair apart, the bugs would go down towards the skin. We called the pet store and they said to use dog flea treatment. I was very sad that they recommended this because I didn't know better and did what they said. I am very lucky the product was an organic based product and didn't hurt his skin or his lungs. Thank God. I brought Cosmo to the vet which is what I should have done firstly and he had lice. We brought him and my other piggy waffles to the vet every week till the lice was completely gone. Finally I have two healthy male guinea pigs! Please try rescues. I unfortunately don't have a rescue around where I live. I would have to go and hour or 2 for one.
@@abs7733 I am glad you never gave in for your pigs, and cared enough to do the right thing, and try very hard. This makes the best kind of owner, as these sweeties get a loved life they deserve. I'm sure they bring you a ton of smiles 🥰🐹🌼

So sad about Peach. Last year my Foxy girl passed overnight unexpectedly while I was sleeping and I found her in the morning and I lost my Sweet Pea a couple weeks ago. She died with me by her side. I was grateful to have been there with her when she took her last breath. Knowing she wasn’t alone brought me some peace. I miss her terribly and I still cry when I think of her. She was such a wonderful little creature and showed me so much love. She was only a few months old but the short time I got to share with her was a blessing. Guinea pigs are the most amazing little beings and I know they will be something I will always have in my life. They bring us so much joy.
You and the rest of the LA piggy saviors are angels on earth. I’m a firm believer in karma and everything you do for those piggies definitely has earned you some serious karma brownie points.

My first ever pig named Cid did the same thing. He was fine when I put them to bed and when I woke up he was gone. At least they got to spend their last moments with someone who loved them and aired about them.

I am sorry that you had to go through that with Peach. It's awful how suddenly and quickly they can go downhill. It was nice to watch the bonding session! Between Tucker's sneaky creeping and the tunnel entertainment, it ended up being a sweet video with a happy ending. Love to you and the boys. I hope they stay peaceful 💕

So sorry for ur loss I just lost my Guinea pig simba on Thursday I had to put him to sleep its still very hard tucker looks like simba and both of them are funny simba used to do the same with his son cosmo, they are not suffering anymore I know they are IN guinea pig heaven sqeaking 😥

I'm sorry for your loss he was a sweet piggie I've had some piggies pass that we took in from other people and 2 of our own. Been a year since our oldest girl and first piggie we adopted passed she was almost nine yrs old.

I'm really sorry to hear about Peach though, it's always tough wondering if there's something you could have noticed or done. I had a piggy once that was perfectly fine at 1:00am (running around, eating, ect.), and he passed away 6 hours later while I was sleeping; I know how that feels. :( But Peach had a great life with you and I know he was well taken care of.

I'm sorry for your loss. Hummingbirds are good luck though and dollar tree has neat little feeders. 4 cups water to one cup of sugar. I have this sweet lil guy who hangs in the front yard. And we have a flock of love birds here.
Oh...I have like 5 hummingbird feeders and it's so nice to love nature. The babies of the past enjoy it I'm sure.
