There is no need to connect remotely to your batocera computer. Simply use an external hard drive or usb flash drive to transfer the files. Pressing F1 at the batocera main menu will bring you into their file manager app. Doing this will save you a ton of time. Also, it isn't Apple-Image. It's just App-Image. It's a Linux program that is designed to operate as a single file. It's cringe hearing you say apple-image.
A question, there’s a series of numbers next to the game title from where I got the game “Super Mario 3D World + Bowsers Fury”. Is it required for me to keep the “Game ID” when I move this to Batocera? My Second Question is, Will ALL the games I find need to have an .xci extension, because I found quite a few games with a .nsp extension and it doesn’t appear to work? (I thought I heard you say that the .nsp extension was going to cause some issues with the game)

Soooo MUCH EASIER to use the File Manager in Kodi to just transfer from USB HD Or FD to Batocera Partitions.Always used this method,no prob.
Or I could copy and paste the EXE from the standalone emulator into the windows folder in batocera
I have a problem where i can run games on my 5 year old laptop with a gtx 1060 but not on my 1 year old Pc with a gtx 4070ti. It says that the rom Format is wrong but it is not the case on my laptop. Why is that so?

Yeah switch isn't officially supported you have to set that up from scratch....it's a somewhat complicated process
How do I get the keys
I didn’t know you could type in your IP address to share files from windows to batocera. And I tried following the guide to the letter and every time I tried to load a game, it just sends me back to my list of games. I’m on v35 on my laptop and I’m using the latest keys and apple image, but the only way I’m able to get it to work is by pressing F1 and open up the yuzu emulator there. All the games I test work great but they just won’t boot on emulation station. Any help is appreciated!
Check you are connected to the internet in settings? Try wired from a wifi extender?
In windows type \\batocera (may wanna map this to a letter for easy access)
Any way or scripts to automatically create a public room? Cant really do it while the game itself is running

Not familiar at all with retrobat but usually batocera files can't be used elsewhere so I'm not surprised it didn't work

Every new version is going to kill switch because it's not officially supported so they don't make that one easy. You have to go through a ton of steps to get it up and running with every version.
Sadly the above comment is right. setting up yuzu is a little weird to but doable outside of batocera
Mine still keeps doing the same. It seems to open the game then get back to the games list. Someone able to config this for me remotely for some £?
Yup same here, how ever I did get ryujinx to work but that took hours. Batocera is nice but the fact you can’t keep shit open and simple like retrobat which is essentially batocera for windows is ridiculous. Good front end just the devs that make it impossible to access stuff.

Are the controls mapped without additional steps?
It pulls right from your main mapping in batocera but yeah as long as you mapped correctly for your controller it lines up perfect. I typically use PlayStation 2 style and Xbox one style controllers which line up with the button setup of the switch so it's great. The + - just move to start and select which is the natural placement I think.

my switch games load and work using this, but all the switch games are running in french, i tried changing it in the yuzu settings, but it just reverts back. any idea how to fix the language?
That's strange. Did you check by holding down the button you use to launch each game then going in through the options and changing language? You may also need to change region as well.

I'd hardly say it's useless but remember there's liability for content creators and nobody needs Nintendo up their caboose for publicly sharing that info. Google should get you to it.
