If you're traveling through Kentucky and looking for a good, family friendly RV campground to stop for the night, these might be good places to consider! Even if you're visiting the many things to do in Kentucky, like Mammoth Cave, or the Corvette Museum, you might be Googling the best places to book a night or two. Some campgrounds are not exactly set up for RVer's just wanting to have a good time with their family, so it might be important to know which ones are full of travelers and vacationers, and which ones are just set up as work camps for nearby businesses coming in. These are a few we'd stay at, hopefully you'll find it helpful too.

I bet those cinnamon pancakes are good. !
Great video! Thanks for sharing!
My dad had a couple ounces of Southern comfort at bedtime. ( i dont know why I said that ) Love you guys. I like your camp reviews. Thanks.
We live about 1 mile from BG KOA , we have a travel trailer and enjoy your videos! Thanks for these campground videos very helpful 😊
Thanks so much!
Well done! Since, I am always driving up 1-65 This was very useful video for me. I also loved that the majority of the campgrounds was very close to 1-65. On a side note i did look into staying at the KOA in South Louisville, when coming home from REV service center. Jarrett was right it can be a bit pricey for a one night stay. I stayed at the very nice RV site at Cabela's in Louisville, an yes Val we will try the pancake batter. great recommendation.
!
Thanks, Brad! Didn’t know Cabela’s had a site! Just one? Interesting. That’s a busy area up there! Anyway, yes, those pancakes are seriously good! Hope you guys like ‘em!
Thank you for sharing all the helpful information! We only spent a few days in Kentucky so we need to go back. --Jen
Oh yeah, if you’re into the bourbon trails, those are always fun. We’d recommend visiting Bardstown. Really cute little tourist town near a lot of distilleries. Or KY horse park near Lexington. They have a nice campground. But around I65 it’s mostly Mammoth Cave or Bowling Green that are fun.
Drove down I65 from Chicago to Birmingham a long time ago. Love you guys be safe out there.
Great information for all going through Kentucky. Great content!
I can tell you Christine and I would love to pet a kangaroo. Where else can you do that? The zoos don't let you do it. The wild ones in Australia would probably kick you. So we would jump at the chance to pet domesticated kangaroos. Lol.
lol so funny you say that because that part of the video got edited out to try to keep things to the point, but I had made the comment that you would just get kicked in the gut, and that’s no fun for anyone lol
That bump reminded me of coming through Paducha KY, pulling my new bbq pit a few years ago awful roads.
Yeah I65 can be rough, but it’s even worse in TN than it is in KY! Bouncing through Nashville will give you a headache, and ya might even lose your China bombs on that stretch of the highway! Lol
Good information 👍
We live in Ky thanks for the info. We haven’t camped a lot actually new campers we need to some Ky camping we mostly only stayed at Anchor Down TN loved the campground there but is very hard to get in there. Where in Corbin Ky any info on camping close to 1-75 that you recommend would be great. Thanks enjoy your channel.
@@charlesphilpot767 Gosh, we’d have to do some some digging around I75, haven’t camped around there in a while! We do love KY horse park though! Maybe some other viewers can chime in on some good ones over there too. If only KY had a place as nice as Anchor Down! Thats why we mostly “camp” out of State. We like the nice stuff! Thanks for the kind words!
2 questions. Where do you get some Shine and can you get over the river going thru Louisville without paying Toll??
Enjoyed the video. We’ve stayed at the Jellystone years ago & it looks to have been updated. This video helps with alternative places to stay. The new Buc-ee’s nearby is scheduled to open in July.
I-5 in California I think is the busiest. Really bad there.
Great content for sure and I wrote a couple down for when we travel. I did not like the parking lot looking ones but the ones with the trees look awesome! Thanks for sharing guys!
Yeah those parking lots campgrounds were the work camps we talked about, not exactly places for traveling families.
Have you ever been to Singing Hills RV Park Cave City, KY
No, we haven’t yet, but the website looks like it’d be a decent place to stay!
