Hello J&V, enjoyed this week’s video. Curious if you have looked at front living 5th wheels, those seem very unique and cool to me. After this video I started researching the Sporttrek’s and really like what I see for travel trailers, I really like the big outdoor kitchens in some models, definitely gonna keep them on my watch list. We are so done with KY’s winter, looking forward to some warm weather and hit the road!! Take care, and until next week, Have Fun!! Stay Safe!!!
Oh we are over KY Winter too!!! We feel ya! Yep love those Sporttreks! They have a lot of fun options! There’s a lot of front living layouts that are nice! Not too big of a fan of what we call “bi-level” campers though. If we have to go up and down two sets of stairs inside all the time, that doesn’t appeal to us. A lot of those front living 5th wheels we saw seems to be bi-levels. We honestly don’t care for ‘em. Saw a really nice Montana with a rear kitchen, center living, and front bedroom at this show that didn’t make this list for that reason. Two sets of steps inside was too much up and down. Guess it’s a good way to get your “steps” in though lol
Ok you need to get some merchandise because I would so buy that sweatshirt!!!! It was great I liked #4 and #5 but still favoring the Super C LOL!! Congrats on hitting 3K!!
Haha! 😂😂 Well currently you can order it on our Redbubble Site. There’s a link in our About section. We had the ones we’re wearing made at a local t-shirt shop but I’ve uploaded the logo to Redbubble for mugs and such if you want to take a look. And dang it, I know it, I want the Super C too!!! 😜🤷🏻♀️ Just not our time yet… And thanks! We’re just grateful some people think our content is good enough to watch lol
I've seen walk through videos of fifth wheel campers that have the two bedrooms like you are talking about. Can't remember the brand or model but they have two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Probably gonna be over 40 ft. Though
I’m with Jarrett the Sport trek is very nice and seems to be well built, I have been looking at Brinkley but I’m going to check out rear kitchen model when they come out. I don’t Want anything over 40’ been looking at Brinkley Z3100 got a price of 84K. Alliance has a two bedroom it’s the Paradium 395 I think.
Is it wise to buy based on sleeping accommodations for the kids? Typically, teenagers aren't that keen on traveling with their parents. The GD with the rear bunkhouse looked like a good option if you're determined to go that route however. We soon discovered that we didn't care for the floor plan with the bedroom hall on the same side as the entry door. During inclement weather, we place a wee-wee pad in front of the door to drop our wet/muddy shoes. And to dry the dog's feet. Now when you go from the bedroom to the living area, you have to step, or jump, over the entryway. So we selected a Floorplan with the bedroom hallway on the off-door side. We have a DRV 36RSSB3. We bought it in 2020 before all the rediculous price increases. Thanks for sharing, and good luck with the hunt.
Thanks for comment! It’s hard to pick the right floor plan. No RV will ever meet all the needs perfectly of course, but we try to at least have a comfortable sleeping option for teens and young adults who might want to come. A nice pullout sofa works just fine too for those non-paying customers lol whether the non-payers are kids or dogs, doesn’t matter, ultimately the goal is to have fun ☺️ but having fun revolves around a good night’s sleep! Especially for those teens haha!
With all the “Frame Flex” videos I’ve been seeing lately from GD, I’d stay away from those. That and I really don’t want a fifth wheel, takes up bed space and limits some places you can get into. Wish me d have known y’all were going to be there. It’s 20 minutes from me.
Yeah, was a last minute decision to go. We’ve been a couple times but it had been a few years, so we were pretty impressed with all the show had to offer this year. Would’ve loved to look at some jet skis but we ran outta time.

2014 Cardinal 35FL, huge kitchen, not “bi-level”, not crazy heavy and moderately priced!!
Have fun!!!

Yeah the length is hard to stay under that with any kind of other unique features. Can’t have your cake and eat it too lol !

Yeah it’s hard to want to get back into anything that’s 40’!

I love you all but keep the RV you have. I thought you just got rid of a motor home, and got a trailer. I know its nice to dream.
Lol Well don’t get too excited, we’re not too sure about trading anything yet. Just like to look and always open minded to the options out there.
