I haven't used it since I bought Chordie. As for learning from midi files, I can do all of that with a DAW.

​@@paullebon323 Touché. There is a free version on Midiculous. As far as I know the only thing you have to pay for is the ability to make LMS and LMV files. Reaper I could never get into. However the egg gets fried.
