I figured out what Jay's reference about a "Bhopal India executive Danbury Connecticut leaky gas valve doll" referred to. In December 1984 there was a gas leak at a pesticide plant in India that killed 1000s of civilians and is still considered the world's worst industrial disaster. The factory was owned by Union Carbide of Connecticut. This is called the Bhopal Disaster on Wikipedia. I guess what Jay was trying to say there is that he thought these guys would be better enemy figures than bikers.
I was reading a history book about TV in the 1980's and realized that I heard about a lot of the events in the book because I watched these "Leno on Letterman" videos.
Interesting cameo appearance by the G.I. Joe Enemy Dreadnoks Torch, Ripper and Buzzer. The Reagan controversy Leno mentions seems to have happened in late April/early May 1985.
I think he was using the Dreadnok's because they were dumb and bad guys, and bikers. Leno, as we all know is a bike fanatic, and was upset, I guess, that GI Joe used bikers as dumb bad guys, because not all bikers like Leno himself, are dumb.
meh. Dave was the better talkshow host and interviewer, Jay was the better standup comedian. different strengths. both are legends as far as i’m concerned.
Well, I think he was saying that since he's a bike enthusiast,, making the Dreadnok's bad guys and dumb is insulting, because not all bikers are dumb, I'm assuming.
After watching "The toys that made us" on Netflix I had to find this, UA-cam has everything!
same
Hooded Cobra Commander 788 on one of his GI Joe reviews brought me here. This is very interesting on many counts.
Me too.

Larry Hama mentioning Leno having been on Letterman going off about the Dreadnok biker gang from G.I. Joe is what brought me here. I just had to know.
Jay was so funny here. I've never seen him this funny until watching this! The guy hitting his head on the Big boy's butt.haha
I think someone at Hasbro did listen to J and that's how we got Cesspool.

LMAO the Barry Manilow joke!
I'm from Dubuque. And Loras College is a real college.
Wow great time for a commerical.
Hi, do you have the tonight show episode aired on 29 May 1990 with Jay Leno as guest host and Fran Drescher with two others as guest stars?

Danbury CT
His chin, damn.
Torch= 300$
Back then when comedians were actually funny
they need to box
Seeing Leno on Letterman is freaky. Seeing as how they dislike each for Leno getting the Tonight Show over Letterman and all.
Yo Joe

Seems they had sort of a healthy respect for each other.
***** Um
thats why dave hates jay
Jay Leno can kick Letterman's ass any time. He is too sharp for him.
meh. Dave was the better talkshow host and interviewer, Jay was the better standup comedian. different strengths.

Wasn’t funny then, isn’t funny now 🙄
To save everyone time. The dreadknocks (torch only) are at 9:50
He just reads the card… That’s the joke.
Wow dissing the Dreadnoks as always that person remains unfunny.
