    It’s hard when all you want to do is love and grow with someone, but their intentions were never the same as yours. Abuse is never a I’m sorry matter. Let’s move forward and eventually someone will love us they way we deserve. 🙏🏽

      Most abusive men will put up a face and pretend to have emotions so they can continue putting you down. Deep inside they do not care at all about your well-being-that’s why they have no problem putting you down and trying to push you into a depression. God deals with people like that eventually-leave it in His hands

    I'm currently in this situation now. How can someone say they're in love with you, yet hurt you so bad with words, manipulation, gas lighting, etc? Totally denies everything, then makes himself the victim! Now that I'm learning to love me, spend time with myself, mediation, using crystals, sage, and getting out the house, now here comes the punishment. It's been going on for so long that I often questioned my own sanity and thought it was only me! I had trauma as a child. Grew up in the system, and all I've ever wanted was love. Then being an empath on top of that makes it even worse because I feel stuff so much but he never listens unless he wants something 🤦🏾‍♀️ I'm so glad for videos like this because many ppl are suffering being in a relationship with a narcissist! My hope for humanity, is that people will look inside themselves, and heal the inner child/trauma🥺. Blessings to you all❤️🌍

      How are you doing now? I’m where you were two years ago. Same thing. Had a rough childhood, I’m an empath, and my partner of 5 years turned out to be an alcoholic narcissist. I love him so much, even though he treated me awfully. He was my best friend. Worse, we have a dog that is my everything, and he will keep her. I am devastated. I am homeless. I am broke. I gave my retirement to the relationship. I am in ruins. Please tell me you’re doing better. I am not sure I have the strength to make it through this.

      @christinafreefromnarcs5948 aww thank you so much and I'm truly sorry to hear about your situation 😢. Yes these comments really make a difference because so many are suffering in silence. Know that you're not alone and together we heal and set boundaries and pay attention to red flags. Hugs to you🫂❤️🙏

      @ebrennie wow my heart hurts for you 💔 😢. I'm in a better space now. It's hard but I was determined to focus on myself and my kids. I had to cut all ties after my divorce. I haven't seen him in a year. What helps me is Journaling, meditation, exercising and listening to affirmations, and also make videos on tiktok. Know that you got this and it will get better. Stay encouraged and praying with you and sending love and light ✨️ ❤️ 🫂

      As I reread my posts from 2 years ago, I have grown so much since then. Now it's 5/31/24 and I'm now divorced, have my own home, and I feel so much better. It has been a challenge at times because a narc always plays games, and he left me to fend for myself. What I learned about that is they want to feel needed and in control. So they want you to chase. Not me! I depend on my Spiritual team to help me and guide me through. My freedom,my voice, and independence was of extreme importance to me. I've been celibate for over a year, as I recognized that healing can't come from being up under someone. I had to do the shadow work and heal from trauma. I put myself in therapy for 6 months and I journal a lot. Exercise helps me a ton and making videos is a plus. So please to anyone that read this, don't give up on yourself and continue to heal your mind and heart. Sending love and light to you all🫂❤️✨️🙌🏽

    I got the courage to leave my emotionally abusive relationship two days ago when it became physical. I will not tolerate the physical disrespect and I’m training myself to not tolerate the emotional disrespect as well. My big kind heart will be a blessing to someone in the future and they will respect me for it.

Learn to guard your heart, and keep in mind anyone saying they love you right away is a 🚩 it helps me, anyone looking to get that serious that quick is really just looking from another victim. You are worthy heal the child in you and the rest follows 💜

They are extremely manipulative and will just use you until you get wise and leave for good. I just ended my very first relationship with a narcissist. I never saw it coming. I kept trying to make them happy and they were extremely adept at making me jealous. Every time we got back together I felt crazier and crazier. Then somebody suggested that they might be a narcissist and all the patterns fit. I finally don’t feel crazy! Thank you so much for this affirmation. It’s exactly what I need to heal

    My abusive ex put me down for Years. He would go from being the nicest man I’ve ever known to calling me all types of names, trying to rip apart and damage the way I view myself. I finally put my foot down today and told him I’m Done being disrespected and will cut off all contact if he won’t go to counseling. He actually laughed in my face and continued putting me down. God is removing him from my life so I can heal from my past and remove all the hurt and pain he put in my heart all these years. I know it will take some time to heal but atleast I can work on healing my inner child now without him adding new scars to trauma I’ve already lived through in the past

      It makes me feel so happy inside that this helped you so much. I agree 100% that we must heal these things so we can move on. The important thing is that once all is said and done, we cannot let these experience define us as people. Every experience is there to teach us something. We have to understand our core issues and patterns ourselves, which requires digging deeply. Personally speaking, these people can be some of our greatest teachers even because they show us where we were not loving ourselves fully, or having good boundaries, or where we were simply loving too much AND they can teach us the great lesson of forgiveness (which doesn't mean forgetting but simply forgiving and letting go). It hurts so much and yet once we begin to see the core issues and heal them, we can truly change everything in our lives and start a new chapter as wiser, stronger, more confident people who KNOW who we truly are. That's exciting. But in the meanwhile, we honor the feelings as we move through them and grow stronger. ♥♥♥

      You're so welcome love! This makes my heart happy to hear. We all deserve to feel safe and cared for. @@MellisaDormoy I got back into a toxic dynamic with my now exboyfriend😓 I got so happy when I remembered about this video and now I am building myself up again but I know I have came a far way in the right direction. Two steps back but one step forward, the step forward is still progress. I am being patient with myself, thank you again for making this video ♥️ Atleast I was making clear boundaries this time - even though he crossed them and didnt respect them. Choosing myself unapologetically, all I really crave now is peace and I am trusting the process of my intention to heal fully and let go of my need of validation from romantic partners.

    I am no longer bound by this man or his abusive traits and emotional abusive words, I am finally free of being tied to this pain and I renounce myself under self love and healing, He does not have control over me or power.. I am defeating him with the power of Jesus and manifestation. I will live AGAIN and have a rewarding life away from him. He cannot harm me anymore and my value is uplifted with self esteem. I am strong, beautiful, wise and loved. I am free from the possession of narcissism and emotional and verbal abuse from "A" I will find pure love and respectful love, I am deserving of joy and peace and I shall get it because I believe

    Listening to this after a neighbor I have never spoken to and don't know the name of called me late at night in a tirade of obscene verbal abuse, a women doing so. Used my private phone number to demean and terrorize me. I called the cops. They said its protected speech to call someone up you have never spoken to and call her obscene threatening names. So I said even if its protected speech I believe its hate speech. The female police officer finally helped and said they would call that phone number and tell them not to call again. I know its not really legal to demean and cause emotional distress to neighbors. Hate is hate.

    Pls guide me. It is said that we should feel the emotions to heal. But listening to affirmations will block the emotions and not help

    • @MellisaDormoy
      @MellisaDormoy  2 роки тому +2

      Absolutely feel your feelings, respect them and acknowledge them.... after, listen to affirmations. It's okay to cry and feel the pain but we don't want to STAY there forever... that won't help healing, it will just cause us to live in the past and in torment. Affirmations are available here for when we make a decision to really start moving forward and help us whenever the sadness gets overwhelming. But I ALWAYS recommend sitting with your feeling and acknowledging it first. Thank you so much for listening and I hope this helps!

    To think I have to do this while they’re up to no good. I’ve known I deserved better for a while now but I wanted to PROVE it to them. Doesn’t matter what I do. They will only see me through their twisted lense. There will never be respect unless I conform and stroke ego. Even then you can’t win.

      Is it really possible to overcome the lasting affects of abuse my whole life on my own ? Or will I forever be a confused timid shell of the person I had the potential to be ?

    • @MellisaDormoy
      @MellisaDormoy  Рік тому

      You're absolutely right. You may only get a brief kind word when and if it fits a motive. They will always see through a twisted lens... The key I think is to RISE UP. Become a healthier person yourself, vibing HIGHER so the nonsense doesn't even affect you anymore. Start to see it as a silly game they play and sooner or later, you'll have no interest in playing it. You''ll distance yourself from them and you'll grow and strengthen yourself as a person and for the better.
      It actually doesn't matter whatsoever what they are up to or doing.... because you'll get to p a point you'll realize they are living on a low vibe and you don't want to stay there with them in that hell they create. It's not about THEM my friend, it's about YOU... you becoming the very best version of yourself... emotionally, mentally and spiritually. You are growing stronger each and every day and one day you'll look back and just be grateful you saw through it and were no longer a victim to them.

      Beautiful friend, you want someone to love? Start with yourself. Fall in love with your quirks, your smile, your preferences... enjoy who you are as a person. Become the best version of yourself. Usually it is while we are doing this that another amazing person comes along and by that time, we KNOW how to love with healthy boundaries so we don't fall in love with an abusive person.

    its been 2 years why do i still feel broken and have low self worth & closed off to any relationship😞

    • @MellisaDormoy
      @MellisaDormoy  3 роки тому

      I understand what you're going through. The pain of surviving these types of relationships can take time because there is a lot of mental undoing of what was done.. however, your self worth is truly something that you have to take into your own hands (and often the root of why we fall into situations like this). No one can give you that self-worth, but YOU (and God). Being closed off to any new relationship isn't really a bad thing, but healing must take place first otherwise we are just bringing our own baggage and pain into a new relationship and that's not fair to anyone. YOUR MOST IMPORTANT RELATIONSHIP is the one you have with yourself. Learning to love ourselves is what we must do before we can experience a truly healthy partnership with anyone else. KNOW that YOU ARE WHOLE... but you've been deeply hurt too. So just take all the time you need and be patient and gentle with yourself.. focusing on showing YOURSELF all the love you were giving someone else. THEN you will know peace. Much love friend. ♥

    I am packing and preparing to leave with assistance from a DV worker ..
    I am going for compo for emotional and psychological abuse! I thought he had to hurt me physically!
    I have stopped feeling guilty about how it’s affected my 3 year old and my relationship where I haven’t been as attentive and she witnessed me losing control before I learned what I needed to do and was going through..
    But I have since letting go and sleeping in separate beds for almost a year .. and now finally realising I can’t coparent in the same house ..
    I am so depressed I am literally mirroring his complacency..a depresssdd narcissist..
    No depressed because I didn’t fall for his crap and trying to make me feel guilty that I will be moving soon with our. Child.. I never should have let him know but I honestly thought he would be understanding and accepting .. ha yes and no..
    Trying to get 50 percent of the time with our child?!!
    Which won’t be possible and isn’t entirely the right thing for a young child

    • @MellisaDormoy

      I am sorry you are going through this. The emotional and psychological damage may not be as visible as physical but it's definitely as painful and often even more. I applaud you for taking your life back! You will see how you become more and more courageous every day as you continue to make healthy choices to protect you and your child's emotional well-being. Know that there is a time where you need to go through withdrawal but stay strong and remember your WHY (your sanity and your child's well-being). You want your child to grow up in a healthy, loving environment and you want HAPPINESS. It is not too much to ask. We all deserve to be happy and sometimes that takes making the tough decisions to move on to a better life that awaits. This is a journey to learn about safeguarding your own peace and your child will live a totally different life experience because of YOU protecting your child's wellbeing. I congratulate you. We are all here supporting you and sending you much love and encouragement. You WILL find your way. Hugs

      Prayers will help you and can help your husband too... We cannot change another but God can. I feel like it's incredibly difficult for a narcissist to change. They have to seek help on their own and really have a desire to grow and change. God can do anything of course but remember to take care of your own mental and spiritual health first.
